I like the holes left light…you can find them easier. However I would sand them and wax, or varnish them to help eliminate the possibility of splinters. I’m not sure if you sanded and waxed, or applied polyurethane to your cabinet doors and drawers, but not doing so will make it very hard to remove dust from your lovely work later on. Watching from the foothills of the Ozarks in the USA.

Your finished kitchen look lovely, I’m sure you will make many happy memories and great food in it. I would stain the pull holes, otherwise the dirt will that will inevitably build up on them will be unsightly, or varathane them to maintain the lighter colour and make them easier to clean.

Raise the light pendants, they draw the eye,+ there all wrong height.

Definitely stain the openings in the doors because they'll become mucky with use anyhow.

Sterling job! Your artistry shows! I have no opinion about the colour in the holes, but I would seal all the cupboard doors& holes. A matt polyurethane type of product, as the ply will continue to absorb oils, finger marks and will be impossible to clean. Moisture will get into the ply through the unsealed holes. I would look for a wax if you’re understandably not keen on the poly. Interesting facts about Irish setters, Rooney is the sweetest. Once again, congratulations 👏👏 😊. Cheers from Oz.

Stain! 😊. The light wood will dirty over time and look unsightly! Kitchen looks great. Pendants should also be raised.

I love it, i have a black kitchen cupboards and butcherblock tops. A lovely contrast.

Highlight them with a lighter Colour.

Keep the contrast with the holes in the cabinets, makes it easier to see where they are when you want to open the cupboards.

Are the pendant lights going to stay hanging that low?
