It was a great catch up with the Two Brothers, they done really well in the creek and they also cooked sausages for lunch and ice cold beers, what more could you ask for, perfect day out. We all have our preferred methods, the old fashioned way was to strip mine the area, they were very destructive, when you use a metal detector you only dig small holes and remove a lot of contaminates like lead from the environment, so I believe we do more good than harm. If you enjoy panning, that's great, get out there and enjoy the bush. Cheers

It was great to hang with the Brothers, Scotty cooked snags for lunch and we indulged in a couple of ice cold beers, the Brothers sure know how to look after you. They did it tough, do our die basically, so they learnt quick and cleaned up the goldfields very well, and we are lucky enough they left a little behind. It was a great day out. Cheers

Thanks mate, I planned on the buckets for a gold fix, I needed it and the gold was a welcome sight. Last couple of trips out felt forced, I felt I needed to get a video out, RUclips can be difficult at times if your trying for a video every week, best keep it casual. Cheers mate

The gold monster is a great little machine, and finds much more smaller gold than even the GPX6000, so it makes for a great beginners machine. Cheer Pete

That's it mate, if your head is not in the game it's like detecting hungry. I did plan the buckets as a back up, I needed that gold fix and the buckets came home for the win. I have worked the area below the rock and got good colour, but I guess it can't all leap over. I should head back and drag some more material away, there might be some more hiding under there. Myself and the Brothers had a greaty day out, always fun with those two and I'm sure we'll be heading out again soon. Cheers mate
