I love the look of the ironstone gold. Well done on finding these couple of bit's in this area that you have worked before. It has turned into a good little "patch." Thank you for sharing your adventures Pete 🌄. Cheers
Nice day for a bush walk with benefits, glad you got something. You never sound ungrateful, I am happy to get anything. So many trips with nothing, but that is the way the cookie crumbles. Cheers buddy, thanks for the adventure again. This week the weather has been average, next week really below average. Need an inside crush video! Regards Andy PPA
I like a good bush walk that involves digging up gold. Not every adventure can result in gold, but we can hope and if we are lucky enough we might just walk over some. Your creek should be flowing after this rain, so get out there mate and try your luck, you never know what that next shovel could bring to light. Cheers
Good on you Pete. Another quality video. It really doesnt get any better than Winter sunshine and finding gold with it on a Friday afternoon. Livin the dream
Hi Pete, that first one you found, in the iron stone, looks really nice. Worth keeping as is. You never sound ungrateful, to me you sound hopeful, but not too eager. like most, you would rather think nothing, but hope you're wrong. Good luck to you.
The first was a nice one, I'll clean it up and see what it looks like. I know finding gold is hard and people can go years before finding there first nugget, so hopefully through this channel I can help others find there first gold and pay it forward. Thanks for your support. Cheers Pete
Thanks Brothers, I like red clay, but sometimes it's just a bit goey and give off false signals. I find it's a bit strange to pull up beside someone, but some don't, I'll give people there space. Cheers
Looking a fantastic day Pete blue sky’s just awesome And yellow rocks even better I think I would be gridding that spot Nice specie too Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
Good job Pete, bummer the phantom target was so deep but you found gold and being out bush on an awesome day like that is definitely golden too. Thanks Pete, cool video buddy.
That target sounded great, but in the end it just moved around after balancing, so that suggests mineralised ground, worth a check though. All good in the end, the weather was great and some gold showed came to light. Cheers mate
Thanks for the reminder of what blue Sky's look like, I hope it's headed towards Gippsland. Just like fishing, there either biting or there not, but you've still got to get out there and give it a shot, you hooked a couple of nice one's, and next time, with a bit of luck, you might get on to a good sized snapper or a school, re bait and hook another! That's what you're out there for, and it's better than sitting at home on the couch. Hmm! Seems I'm talking about myself. Cheers Pete!
Always blue sky in Central Vic, it all changes once you hit Kyneton. Although it's raining at the moment. The weather is going to be good on the weekend, so I'll have a crack at getting that big one, well fingers crossed. Cheers mate
It's been dry really, getting a bit of rain now, but it will be gone by the weekend. We'll be out camping soon enough mate, I'm about to drop the Subs Day date, so I'll let you know. Cheers mate
You could be right there, plenty of rocks getting in the way, it would help getting on the ground and also mix up the coils, future episode maybe. Cheers Ian
A top Friday arvo Pete , can't complain about that mate . It's always nice to go home with something , whatever it might be . Good one Buddy !!! 👍👍 Keep on keeping on Bro . 👌Cheers Ned . ✌
It was a great way to finish the week, that area has looked after me of late, it's always provided me with a little gold each time I drop in. Cheers Ned, thanks for watching.
It's different, I remember going there years ago and didn't really like it, to much ironstone and not enough quartz, but the golds there so that's the best indicator. Cheers mate
Well done Pete. Thanks for sharing another great video. What a great effort for a few hours detecting. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍🤜🤛
Exceptionally good skies, lungfuls of fresh air, a spot of bushwalking, curious geology, and gold! Bloody satisfied I'd say, Pete! And good discussion per etiquette, and positioning, no holding folded cards, you can deduce that applies a number of ways, you're definitely not a card, probably wouldn't accept the gift of a guitar on a crossroad! 😂 🎸🤘👿 Avagoodweekend, & cheers again!
It was a great day for prospecting or bush walking. It's a very different area, finding ironstone specie gold isn't as common, so that's pretty cool. I find you have to give people there space, I find it a bit rude if someone pulls up right beside you, there's plenty of ground out there. Cheers mate
Great video 👍, that's the same looking rock I brought home acouple of days ago, thinking it had a good target, only just to be crap, not even dust after crushing.
So how does it work ? You avoid areas when people are about , because they may see you find gold and then they will dig up the whole area nd leave you nothing ?
Finding gold areas with a detector is much different than working a creek, trying to find a detectable patch can be rare and you generally don't want to give them away. I've had areas smashed and trashed by other, a down side to RUclips, but as people know I have shared several areas with others to put them on the gold. Cheers Mo
I've found in the past that you don't share an area you don't want smashed, gold can do strange things to people, and I'm sure a lot would agree. Cheers mate
Isn’t it great when you can head back to a place that you have found some gold before and pick up other targets in between previous finds. Different day different results! Brilliant work Pete! _🧑🏽🦯👍👍
It sure is mate, but with those rocks it's pretty hard to get the coil on the ground, there will still be gold there, might give it a rake one day. Cheers mate

It's interesting that gold, it's different. I've only loosely worked the area, it could do with a rake. Thanks Steve
A little specie ,nice!
Magnificent Friday afternoon session great video Pete that quartz stringer was pretty good looking to sample 👍
Thanks mate, it was a perfect arvo to be out bush. I could put it through the mill, could be interesting, all good, it will still be there. Cheers
Nice going Pete. Always great to get the first one and take the pressure off. Glad you got a couple for the arvo. Take care mate 😁👍
Thanks Andrew, It was nice to get one, especially when your only out for a few hours, nice to get a couple local. Cheers mate

Another great entertaining video. Thanks
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers Pete
What a great way to end the working week. Well done Pete 👍
Thanks Lyndon, that was back to the first area I took you to, just a bit further down the hill. Cheers mate
Nice work Pete, great gold, that red clay looks very nice, its great Goldmanship to not start detecting near someone close 😁👊

You can't ask for much more on a winters afternoon. One day I'll give it a rake and maybe run the standard coil over it, we have options mate. Cheers
Well done Pete think you should go back and look for that peace that flew away👍
Thanks Shannon, I think I found it, a squashed lead shot was under the rock, so no gold. Cheers mate
Can't complain about the weather & the gold.
It was a great afternoon Victor, blue sky and gold, what more could you want on a winters day. Cheers mate
Stay on it!! GO PETE ! 🙃🤠
This weekend mate, I can feel it. Cheers

Thanks Dennis, sounds like a plan mate, it would mate a nice opening video for your channel. Cheers mate
Hard at it yet again is our Pete searching for that elusive gold nugget in the 8 ounce vacinity lol, keep up the hard yards mate & stay safe 😁

great arvo effort lucky u can get out after work 👍👍😎😎

Good work mate

Not a bad days bits of shiny gold!

Thanks Craig, the rock looked great, I should sample it, but it's only one rock, and it didn't make a sound. Cheers mate
Great arvo. To put it prospective at current gold prices that’s about $36. That’s half a dozen and a pizza. Awesome.
Sure was mate, and I'd do it all again for beers and a pizza, might go for a box next time. Cheers Daza
Not a bad arvo. What scales are you using? They look a little more precise than my smoke shop specials
Thanks mate, those scales are just off Ebay, they work good though and only about 25 or 30 bucks. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures I'm guessing that weight is to recalibrate? That's already worth it knowing how scales work.
@frenchys_prospecting that's it, I think it's 50 grams, so if it's off you just recalibrate and your good to go.
So how does it work ?
You avoid areas when people are about , because they may see you find gold and then they will dig up the whole area nd leave you nothing ?
