Every Thursday night when your videos drop I get a lovely reminder that the week is nearly over and for the next 20 odd minutes I am all excited watching you and thinking of where I’m going to go for my next swing. Thanks for being an amazing creator for me to watch over the past several years Pete. Oh and better luck next time mate 👍👍
Gezzzz mate, thanks for your kind words, I'm super glad you have enjoyed my video's over the years and it's kind words like that, that makes it all worth it. As you know doing this RUclips thing can be very difficult. Good luck on your next swing mate and I hope you find a nice chunky bit. Cheers mate
Well done Pete on all the targets you found to dig. I spent Friday night, the whole of the wet Saturday and Sunday morning digging up only a half dozen targets that didn't turn on to ground noise. I welcomed the lead as all the ground noise targets didn't sound as sweet. No gold for me. Andy found three bits that added up to 0.07! Thanks for sharing your adventures Pete. Cheers
Thanks Steve, sounds like you did it tough mate, sounds like an area you may not return too, and if the brothers could only turn up a few, it sounds like that area is done. Happy hunting on your next trip mate. Cheers
Good going, Pete, shows one might get one bit but another, six, on the same ground the same day, that's the chance but you have to give it a good go, and it was good instructional vision of what low and slow and limited loco looks like, well done mate, and may the big potato moment be caught on film so everyone has a good laugh and cry in celebration. Cheers! Gabi of Narre Warren.
Gary is a gold finding machine, he always walks away with a pocket full. Sometimes you just have to be lucky enough to walk over the top of it, maybe this week I'll have better luck, you just never know. Cheers mate
I can really relate to this video! Seems like every time I go out, lead-50 gold-1. Next time I’m out I’ll be wearing my “old mate lead shot” T-shirt to hopefully turn things around🤞🏻. Thanks Pete!
The lead to gold ratio can get a little out there at time's, but if there's gold mixed in with it you can deal with digging up a heap of lead. I'm sure the old mate shirt will bring you the best of luck, so happy hunting on your next trip and tell if the shirt worked for you. Cheers mate.
One bit is better than no bits that’s for sure and how the old mate gets down that far encased in clay is crazy, definitely frustrating to say the least.Hey,not much gold but another adventure out bush and a cool video, thanks Pete.
I'll take one, that for sure, it's just nice to come home with a little colour in the pocket. The old mate just seem to get down deep, it's amazing sometimes, but you have to dig them, because you just don't know sometimes and that next one just might be the big one. Cheers mate..... Go Pies
Thanks for sharing another great adventure Pete. One piece of gold in the hand is still better than it still being in the bush. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
It was do or die for the old timers, so they got very good at what they done, we are chasing thier scraps, but hopefully they left a few chunky bit. Cheers John
Another walk in the bush with your old mate, bugger. At least you got 1 bit, better than none. Thanks buddy for the great show everytime, I am trying to learn from your fantastic editing skills and am trying to emulate how you do it. As always trying to live up to your high level. Thanks for the great job once again. Regards Andy and Smudge PPA
That's it Andy, me old mate is never far away, sometimes you can't escape the stuff. I just record the footage and then Connor works his magic, although I do try to record it so he doesn't have to watch hours of footage. Your doing a great job Andy, so don't do me, do you and put your spin on things. One thing though, don't sign off and on after each take, blend them together, remember we haven't left for half an hour, only you, we've been there the whole time, I did the same thing early on and said "welcome back" thing was you never left, I did, if that makes sence. Have fun with it mate. Cheers Pete
Ah! The lead shot lament! I don't know how many pellets are in one shot, but your doing a good job of finding them. But one bit of gold is a welcome sight! Cheers!
I believe that a number 9 shotgun shell has 400 pellets, so there's plenty more out there. The gold was a very welcome sight, I'm happy to take a small one. Cheers Mate
I was getting a little over the lead shot, I don't mind if there is a little gold mixed in with it, but I was lucky enough to snag one bit, so good times. Cheers Glenno
Gday Pete. It wasn’t all lead and cursing. You got a bit and that’s better than not. On a 3 week drought at the moment but gee, my lead count has skyrocketed. Take care mate 😁👍
The lead out there is crazy and I'm sure we'll never even get a fraction of it. Keep hunting mate and the gold will come, I'm sure you have a sneaky spot somewhere with a nice bit or two. Cheers mate

Nice work on the 0.07 but you got a flogging great job Gary 😅
You started so nice and then layed in the boots, no one can compete with Gary, he's a gold finding machine. Cheers mate
Awesome Pete, yep we have all had those days, stay safe mate and keep on having fun, love your channel, cheers 👍👍👍
It was still a great day out and really good to catch up with Gary, there's always next time to find that big nugget. Cheers mate
On the board mate- gold in your hands
That's it mate, I'll take any I can get my hands on. Cheers Guy
Hey no gold left behind great piece 👊🏽
It was a little thin on the ground, hopefully I'll trip over a little more next time out. Cheers

@@PetesGoldAdventures I am going to say it did work for me as the second target for the day was a nice little reefy piece!👍🏻
@nathan.873 nice work, I'm sure the shirt has heaps of good luck still left in it. 👍

Well at least you got a little one.👍
Yes the 6000 is definitely cleaning up..
Cheers Famo59🍻⛏️
That's it mate, I went home happy. After the 6's are done I don't think there will be too much gold left, but we'll keep hunting. Cheers mate
@
I thought 💭 there wouldn’t be and sub gram gold left after the SDC 2300 came along.
Well.Still plenty more left.🍻⛏️
Onya Pete. It's always great to get your 1st bit after a couple of hours to the point of cracking the shots. Well done
I think peaking early is better, at least you have a nugget, that was just getting out of hand with the lead shot. Cheers Sam
They got most of it. Left us with sub 1g nuggets.
It was do or die for the old timers, so they got very good at what they done, we are chasing thier scraps, but hopefully they left a few chunky bit. Cheers John
It adds up mate even if when you find lots of lead its good for sinkers for fishing keep them coming 👌👍
It does Marky, and I don't mind digging up the little one, but the lead does get a bit out of hand at times. Cheers mate

@PetesGoldAdventures great advice, thanks
She's not easy out there mate, but as you say 1 is better than none👌. Cheers mate.
The stuff won't grow back, so once it's gone, it's gone, those great patches are just a memory and something to talk about. Cheers mate
1 is better than none, Gary outbid you today..
Gary is a gold magnet, he does well the boy. Cheers Paul

400! Oh the joy! No wonder there in such abundance, it's to bad they didn't stay grouped together, It would save a lot of digging. Cheers Pete!
No doughnut a bonus and just think about the lead u took out of the system lol
I was getting a little over the lead shot, I don't mind if there is a little gold mixed in with it, but I was lucky enough to snag one bit, so good times. Cheers Glenno

Better than a skunk day Pete cant win them all.
Skunks are tough, I haven't had one in quite awhile and hopefully none in the near futrure. Happy hunting mate. Cheers

Old mate and the fingernail test ......
Yes, the thumbnail reveils all, stupid silver crap. Cheers mate
Hay, time flies when you swinging, yes no
There's never enough time, before you know it, it's time to head home. Cheers mate
Pete how do you rate the coiltek against the Nugget Finder?
I think the Goldhawk out performs the Nugget Finder, it easily found targets the NF missed and I also like the size of the 14x9. Cheers
