  • When you have one small hole produce 5 grams of detectable gold, how much fine gold could this gravel hold, well we find out.

      I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I like to keep it "G" rated so all can watch, I do know of a few young kids that watch the channel and my statistics tell me I have an even spread across the ages from 8 to 80, including 10% are ladies, so I'm glad I appeal to a wide audience. I can't take credit for the edit, I do all the filming myself and my eldest son works his magic, so I'm very lucky in that way.

    The equipment used and processes showed top value for us viewing, Pete! As responses show, when tasking in landscaping, gardening, other jobs, gold and rock-hounding ideas sometimes do slot in, with the right processes and equipment, you can clean up in more ways than just the one intended, so giving viewers ideas for prospecting their grounds, gardens, paths and driveways, who knows what previous occupants had been into, we keep finding unprocessed gems like amethyst specimens in the garden!, so vacuum the car, scrape the mudflaps and wheel wells, but have you seen the weather outside, eh, ha ha! Garage gold for the win 👍

    Great to see the method in the madness of puddling with a cement mixer. I always wanted a cement mixer but always made do with mixing by hand in a wheelbarrow. Well you had me thinking it was a big fat zero for a bit there! I thought youd forgotten all about it from the distraction of the 6000. Awesome just goes to show that there is probably so much gold that we cant detect thats just left in the ground, that was just random shovels of dirt i could easily have left better results still in the hole.
    Lot of work to get it out though maybe a high powered spray bar that points into your mixer would help break down clay like that! thanks for all the work Pete cheers.

    • @PetesGoldAdventures
      @PetesGoldAdventures  5 месяцев назад

      I had to build the suspense mate. Yeah, the 6 has taken me away from washing rocks, with this rain we might have some water back in the creeks. You never know how much ground is in the ground, you just have to swing over it or wash it. I'll be building a trommel soon, so dirt like that won't stand a chance. Thanks for the opportunity to wash that dirt mate. Cheers Pete
