Thanks for coming out, Pete & for a great prize. I'm definitely going to try & make it a more organised day with a few more attractions on the day.
No worries Victor, It was a great day out and some good funds raised for the RCH, I look forward to the next one and I'll have to build another Gold Thingy multi sluice, it might become a tradition like my hammer mills at my subs day out's. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventuresIt would be a crowd draw I reckon
Some nice bits Pete. Big thanks for the interview at the fundraiser appreciate it. 🙏
Thanks mate, it was good to get a couple of quick ones. No worries about the interview, I gave you a little shout out in the comments, but I'll give you a bigger one soon. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures Appreciate it Pete cheers, I'm just putting a podcast together with a recap of the meetup to keep an eye out.
Nice Pete, good to hear the fund-raiser went well👌. Cheers mate.
Thanks Lee, It went pretty good, raised just over $1600, so that was a great result. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures amazing🙌
Thanks for the shout out Pete, hope you enjoy the product and as always enjoy watching your Chanel
No worries, I thought if I get it in before the weigh in good numbers will see it, hopefully it get's your brand out there a little more. Thanks for watching mate, cheers.
@@PetesGoldAdventures can’t thank you enough, it’s hard getting the word out so appreciate it more than you can know and for that if you want some more relish etc… happy to send you some free of charge. Thankyou again. And I’ll pass on your link to friends and family
@@Trish2007 No worries mate, you should come up to the Subs Day Out on the 31st August, if the weather is good it's looking like about 100 people could be heading along, run your stand and make some sales, you'll also get video coverage on a few youtube channels. If you want to head up fill out the Google form on the announcement video and I'll send you the details for the weekend.
Here's a BIG THUMBS UP mate, nice quick swing with some gold, perfect. You are brave getting out in this weather that's for sure.
Thanks Chappy, I can't help myself, the weather would have to be pretty bad to stop me from getting out, that gold won't get itself. Cheers
Nice Pete, sounds like the fundraiser was a hit, excellent buddy. The weather was kinda cruddy but you braved the elements and got the gold, right on man. Thanks Pete, cool area for prospecting too.
The RCH fund raiser was great, the weather was a bit off, but some good funds raised. It was good to find a couple of sneaky bits of gold on the way home. Cheers mate
If you're finding gold, it's not the wrong spot! Had a full day of sunshine here, first time for quite a while, and what was I doing, sanding down plaster! I've really got to get my priorities right, my detector was calling me all day, and I had to ignore it. Not that easy to do! Well done on the event and the gold, Cheers Mate!
That's it mate, I wanted to land straight on the old area as I only had a couple of hours, but in the end I think I found it, but it's just really over grown. Sanding plaster isn't fun, but can't leave the job half done. The weather here has been nice this week, hopefully it holds out for the weekend. Cheers mate
It's always good to go home with a bit of gold there Pete it makes the day all worthwhile, you need to spend a full day at that spot. Cheers..
It certainly makes for a better day in those conditions, once I thought I might have to make a dash to the car. I'll get back there for sure, have to be more gold hidden there. Cheers mate
Always nice to see gold appear from the dirt. And for the record: anytime you are looking at gold in the scoop you are at the right place. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures!
Your spot on Greg, it's such a relief to see it's not rounds and grey. I know, but I was hoping to land on the spot that had proven gold potential, but in the end I was lucky enough to snag a couple and maybe I have found the spot, I'll have to return to confirm it. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures Here's another one for you. This will solve the lead shot problem going forward. I have not had any success with it myself but I'm hopeful someone with power and influence might get it done. All we have to do is convince the shotgun folks that gold shot would work much better for bird hunting. You know a higher specific gravity and all, soft enough to not harm a smoothbore, nice bright color so you can see them in cooked food, inert in the human body instead of poison. So, let me know if you have any luck on that! I have failed. Oh well off to find a beaver tail or a lead shot.
@@gregs2509 I could only imagine how much a box of shells would cost, if they were 1oz shells and 25 in a box that would be $95,000 per box and if we were talking oz and a quarter, bugger me, that would be crazy.
@@PetesGoldAdventures That could be the reason for my lack of success. Perhaps promoting smaller gauge shotguns with lighter charges? I guess 50K might be a bit expensive still, huh? Always some sort of problem with my plans! It's just one my mind drifts back to after digging an ounce or so of lead shot!
Thanks for sharing another great video Pete. Nice result for a quick detect. I was looking forward to finally catching up with you at Creswick but had to change my plans, might have to wait till Father's day weekend. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
No worries mate, I was happy to see a couple pop out, I didn't have much time. All good mate, there will be plenty of time to chat at the Subs Day. Cheers mate and thanks for watching.
Good little quicky there Pete. Glad you pinged a couple of bits. Always a good feeling no matter the size. Well done mate 😁👍👍
We talking about the same thing? LOL It was a quick swing and I was really happy to see a couple come to light. Cheers mate
Worthy causes, RCH and gold community engagement, well done Pete. Reorienting where your good spot was after backburning is a win, and a new prospect line up top, call it Skyline Gold?!, a couple of nice flakes. Skyline straight wasn't much of an uphill at Sandown Park, we lived 1975-97 a 5 minute BMX ride from climbing the fence & watch the greats come down the straight to the first bend. Explains a bit our love of cars, it wasn't going to be the nags or the dish-lickers! Cheers, stay safe, and happy prospecting. G.
It was Gabi, and we'll do it all again next year and hopefully raise more than this year. That area looked so different, but it had been many years since I was last there. That would have been a great era to be jumping the fence, especially 1975, I have a 74 XBGT, it's a sedan, but it would have been great seeing the coupes sending it around Sandown, it's a great place to watch car racing. I have also been there to watch the Grey's, I do like my dish lickers. Cheers mate
Great to hear about the RCH fundraiser going so well I thought that second bit in the pipe clay was going to be gold for sure but ended up with 2 nice bits 👍👍👍
Victor done well, the weather was average, but we were able to raise some good funds for the RCH. It's good when the targets get deeper, but you can never tell until its in the hand. Cheers mate
Always love seeing your videos, thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks mate, appreciate it, glad you enjoy them. Cheers
Thanks for sharing
Cheers Daniel, thanks mate.
Well done Pete another couple of pieces 👏
Worth a trip back to the area again 👍
Thanks Lyndon, I'll have to head back there one day, there would be gold hiding in the scrub for sure. Cheers
Haha. Everyone had eyes on that Multi sluice.
@frenchys_prospecting I'm glad everyone thought it was a good thing. All good mate, there's another up for grabs at the Subs Day Out, you'll have to have a crack at that one. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures I may just bring a few extra dollars for tickets. Cheers mate
Every bit adds up my friend, you'll get a big chunk or special next time!
It does add up mate, doesn't matter how small. Cheers
A nice arvo swinging the 6 mate, at least you're having some luck. Cheers Andy
The 6 is a crazy machine, there's no way the 45 could ever do what the 6 can. Cheers mate
Nice one Pete well done!!on the gold in the wrong spot your a gold magnet 😊
Thanks mate, it would be good if I could attract the big ones. Cheers
Nice 👍
Cheers, thanks Aaron.
Hot or Cold, we dig the gold!
That's it mate, but we are soon coming into the best time of the year to go pospecting, Spring time and I'm looking forward to it. Cheers mate
Crazy how small these machines pick up.
The 6 does a great job, that's the second .03, I'll have to see if I can get lower, although bigger would be better, all in good fun. Cheers mate
I sure wish it was winter... 110* F. Go Pete !! 🤠😎🙃
Wow, that's hot mate, but I'd rather that than the cold. Cheers mate

Nice arvo out Pete. Need to get a big weekend out mate.
Thanks Guy, I'm working on it, maybe next week if it pans out, this Sunday footy down Melton, we play for the bus trips and beer LOL. Cheers mate
Well don't pete looked like a awesome spot it's so hard to find the old spots things change so much
Thanks Shannon, it's a nice looking area, but has over grown a lot since I was there years ago. Cheers mate
Always nice to get out yellow bonus 😊
On a day like that mate I'll take anything, it makes a cold old day worth getting out in. Cheers mate
A couple of Sweet bits of Shiny there Pete , gotta be happy with that mate 👍a nice reward on a wet miserable day . Got to go back now you found your old spot at the end of the day 😁There's never enough hours aye . Good job on the fund raiser weekend too Onyas all for doing that 👌✔✔ Any sign of a package down your way yet ? 🤞😂Fingers crossed . Anyway , Top show Bro 👍👍, Cheers Ned ✌⚒⛏
It was great to snag a couple in as many hours, even in average weather conditions, I'll definitely have to get back there. The Fund Raiser was good, raised just over $1600, so that was awesome. The package turned up yesterday and with that little bonus, so thankyou very much for that, it should make for some interesting reading. I'll get onto the video this weekend, I've have some plans for it that should give it a good kick along. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures Excellent Pete , that sounds great mate , Yeah , glad you liked the book with that map in the back , might lead you to a hidden Treasure , 😂👍👍ya never know 🤞👌
С находками 👍 Удачи Пит ❤❤❤
Привет, приятель, спасибо за просмотр
Onya Pete
Cheers, thanks Sam.
Good one Pete , we can always count on you to deliver !! also what is the date for subs day ?
I try mate and hopefully I can trip over a bit 😂 the subs day is from the 31st August, there was a video a couple of weeks ago, check out and fill out the google form if your up for it. Cheers mate 👍
Great work Pete, Do you have a 6000 container with all the gold found so far? cheers.
Thanks Neil, I do have this years, last year's got mixed up the the 4500 gold. The 6 is definitely doing the job. Cheers mate
Hey Pete, great content mate thank you! Hey where did you score your big pick from?
@stevenlouise7 Thanks mate, I'm glad you enjoy the videos. That pick is from 2005, it's an original Walco, you can still get that size but they have the triangle head on them like every other pick, and won't last like this one, I have considered reproducing them as that one has never been sharpened, probably due to the point being 10mm think. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures that makes sense, they don't make em like they used to 😜, I'll keep looking. I've got the CC pick 900mm one but head is only 5mm steel, not loving the Pilbara rock
@stevenlouise7 I could imagine, I used mine the other day to pry out a rock I had trouble even rolling and it didn't bother it, I had a smaller CC pick and the handle snapped off digging a hole, it was hopeless. Good luck it your hunt.
