Do not listen to people that say that area has been worked. I worked an area in the Scott River that everbody said was worked over and over. I paid no attention to them. I got 24 ounces in that spot in 2 months. Most people have no idea how to find gold even when it is rught under them.

Best online prosecutor I’ve seen. I’ve learned more from watching his videos. Than anyone else. He always tells what he’s doing every trip and gets drilled into your mind.
Yes, he can thoroughly prosecute a crevice and sentence all gold to his pan.

I’m fairly new to prospecting and I’m so thankful folks like you a a few others I follow give tips and tricks cause thanks to yall im finding gold 😁
I just learned so much about panning gold on the river.... I have been wishing for videos like this and have never found one not one. Very detailed love that he shows the tools the different types of rocks and gravel you sir have a new subscriber😊
This is going to be a really interesting video. The up front cost for a good detector seems to be $4,000 and gold is ~%67/gram. Assuming Gary's success rate w/said detector one would need to find 2 grams of gold/trip for 30 trips to breakeven on just the sunk cost for the detector. My spouse frowns heavily at me whenever I mention buying one.
I was thinking the same thing. An SDC2300 is $3500! I’ve also been thinking about a Gold monster 1000 which is about $950ish.

Thank you for your expertise. What I really appreciate about you and your channel is you not only talk, but you explain and show, if that makes any sense. And you show it in a real example/area that you’ve worked. For example the need to have more than just the sand…it would stand to reason that anything heavier than sand would have dropped out with the other heavy stuff. You just mentioning that kicked at least a dozen spots into my head that I’ve walked by while fishing certain rivers. Again, thank you for your expertise and willingness to share it.

I wanted to get up to the Mountains today but both vehicles are down & works starts on Monday. I tried really hard this winter to get some gold! I managed to get a bit over a 1/2 oz but it was all from Computers.
I would rather find it in the mountains but ya gotta work with whst ya got! Thank you so much Gary for all you do! Hopefully i can get a blessing & one day pan alongside the Master Himself!

Great job and thank you for explaining your procedure when crevicing , I take a few other items with me like old desert spoon and toothbrush and paint brushes and a pry bar and crowbar if needed for lifting those big boulders and a sniffer bottle if some water is in some of those holes , that’s my list ,good to have those extras just in case .
Well another great video and very informative. I can't wait for the next one, here in Georgia I haven't seen anything like what you pointed out. Besides we have to remain inside the Natural flow of the creek. We cant dig in any banks or the exposed edge. As well as it is pan and shovel only. Stay safe and see you on the next video.
