- We head to Wedderburn for the 2024 Minelab Detector Jamboree and also head out bush to see if we can find some of that illusive Wedderburn gold.

The colour of the sky and the bush is amazing in this video. It's just like the colours Pro Hart paintings are famous for.

I was about an hour away from you at the time of filming, it sure was rough out in that direct sun. Great to see everyone out having fun despite the extreme heat.

The lead shot is everywhere, but at least we are removing it from the bush and water ways. I was great to get a key, at least you are in the draw, many weren't, so I was lucky. Cheers mate

All in all it wasn't too bad, it was more digging constant lead shot and no gold was more draining, all good I'll fix the gold count up tomorrow arvo hopefully. Cheers Glenno

Well I missed this year as other plans have to be arranged, the old SDC worked well last year on the keys, maybe next year, it's sure hard to find gold in that area, been well detected over the years very slim ground but the lead is still there as long as you and Baz had a great time again..
There's always next year mate, the 6 was ok, but heavy as I had to run the 14in DD coil to cancel out all the other machines which worked great, but the relic machines are the go. We still had a good time, so looking forward to next year. Cheers mate

At least I got in the draw, there were many who didn't, but they also have a draw for those who don't find a token. All good with the gold, I'll make up for it this weekend, I'll get twice as much, I'll dedicate half to last week, now that's makes prefect sense. Cheers mate

Bad luck on the gold Pete it’s only a bonus anyway. I rekon they should rename the GPX 6000 to the LEAD 6000 it finds more lead than gold 😂😂👍
Most trips i'm lucky enough to get on the gold, so all good on that front. Maybe I should design a tee shirt saying I swing the Lead Shot 6000, it might be a winner. Cheers mate

I've seen one in the last 20 years out bush and at that time we just got out to check an area and promptly got back in the car, It was a very big brown snake. Cheers

Plenty of lead shot still here for ya mate, you might have to help clean it up. I had purple, so the odds were halved and then boom, the bloke in front of me took home the chocolates. All good mate, catch up soon. Cheers
