I took a Route 66 trip and my most used lens was the Fujifilm 30mm macro 2.8. It’s become my favorite all purpose lens It’s the perfect lens 45mm and now you can get creative macro photos. You have to give it a try you will love it

Enjoyed the video. I just came from Disney and shot with the Fujifilm XT5 and the 16-80 kit lens. my goal was to take photos that did not have the crowds in them. Most of my photos were at the 50 mm range. I also shot a lot of photos at the 16 mm range for photos of the castle and a couple of night photos that I did, I enjoyed myself, more than usual by keeping myself busy looking for Photo opportunities as can be exhausting. The photography cut me in a good headspace.

Thanks for the video and I have the GR. And absolutely love it. But since a few months, it's got some problems, and one that bugs me the most is the shutter opening up closed, until I take a blank photo to open it up. ruclips.net/video/yLKhSn0C90I/видео.html if the OP or someone else can help.

I'm not familiar with the OM-D range of cameras, but I do own an E-P1, and an E-PL1. Both of these have 1 B&W simulation in the ART menu. I'm old enough to have used B&W film regularly as a kid in the 1960's, and can only say that the E-P1/E-PL1 simulations are more like caricatures of B&W, rather than simulations. Heavy and unsubtle. For B&W, I use my Ricoh GX100, and compared to that..., the B&W images in this video look rather like..., Olympus trying too hard.

I saw a video that I think that was on NBC news years ago about a studio that only did high school seniors. And they charged I think like $4,000 to $5,000 dollars for photos. The kids that are on the football team. He brings them into his studio and its a large studio and they dump water on the football player so the photo has that hard rain look grid iron effect. For the girls I saw take this photo of this girl with her getting out of a sports car and I think it was just one leg that was out of the car and it looks like she's getting up. The photo looks like something that you might be in a Hollywood movie like Fast & Furious. I know he used a ultra wide angle lens. They did another story on this other photographer that photographs I think girls for the most part and this photographer she makes the girls look like queens from old England maybe like 500 years ago.

I can’t stand the way these manufacturers are comfortable putting out incomplete ideas/products. It’s like they get spooked into thinking somehow this body would cannibalize the Z6 when they serve different purposes. A DSLR/hybrid shooter will always pick the camera with highest/fastest specs and requires the least amount of input. CLEARLY no consumer with that preference would opt for the body with these specs and ergos. This is clearly (intended) to be photo centric. They screwed up with the screen, but I’m sure they’re trying to thoughtlessly keep up with Canon. They had (and still do in a second generation) the chance to make a purpose built photo camera with no gimmicks, no distractions. They screwed themselves by making the mount entirely too big for full frame to be practical. Now they have to reinvent the wheel to make smaller competent lenses, but they half assed it with the build quality and lack of an aperture ring. They should have embraced then camera being better suited for manual glass and allowed manual focus aids without the need of a chipped lens or special adapter. They also should have made this thing with some kind of customizable picture profiles. Make more small lenses or partner with someone like Sigma to do it for you. These cameras just scream a lack of intention and being out of touch. I hope to see these easy errors fixed

Eric, i was self employed for almost 40 years, so i understand making money. If that’s your goal, get into the gear shit heavy and don’t look back. But, an interesting concept that i don’t see anymore is youtube for personal fulfillment and joy. Wouldn’t it be fun to just produce content as it comes to you, whatever it is. Forget the algorithms, subscribers and views, and make something genuine? RUclips might trash your views, but you might be surprised with the amount of followers you would accumulate over time, and i bet they would be loyal and not as erratic….more like friends. I watch you because i see some of my younger self in you…always curious. I think it was Churchill that said “success is moving from one failure to the next, with no lack of enthusiasm!”. As a fellow Michigander i will stick with you whatever way you go. Godspeed.
