Eric, i was self employed for almost 40 years, so i understand making money. If that’s your goal, get into the gear shit heavy and don’t look back. But, an interesting concept that i don’t see anymore is youtube for personal fulfillment and joy. Wouldn’t it be fun to just produce content as it comes to you, whatever it is. Forget the algorithms, subscribers and views, and make something genuine? RUclips might trash your views, but you might be surprised with the amount of followers you would accumulate over time, and i bet they would be loyal and not as erratic….more like friends. I watch you because i see some of my younger self in you…always curious. I think it was Churchill that said “success is moving from one failure to the next, with no lack of enthusiasm!”. As a fellow Michigander i will stick with you whatever way you go. Godspeed.
Just a suggestion, maybe record the setup process, lighting positioning and settings for the shoot. Then maybe a test shot and discuss the light on the subject.
I’m kinda right there with.you. Really enjoy doing these types of photos. I’d love to start a side hustle but ,for me, when I charge it changes the dynamic, if I do for free I feel like I’m taking business from someone who depends on the income. Anyway best way to turn this into content is to fix a 360 cam to your light stand and then talk about it later
Are you Kidding man.. don’t sell your soul for the algorithm. Find 10 of the best hockey pictures ever taken and let’s hear your thoughts I why you love them what gear you think they used etc
Try the Carnivore Diet its known to heal all kinds of issue. Look up Shawn Baker he knows a lot about it. Eddie Hall the strongest man in the world is doing the Carnivore Diet now. He's also a RUclipsr now he makes comedy videos now.
@@ericrjennings I do Carnivore Diet off and on. In the morning I do four or six eggs. Beef only for lunch and eggs again for dinner. It fixed my heel spur and a slipped disc in my lower back. I used sea salt also. A lot of people that do Carnivore Diet use Redmond Real Salt. Some family owns that lake and its really good salt. Salt is good for you. Its just salt like at MacDonald's is bad because they mix it with sugar.
At the risk of sounding like a Boomer, it sure would have been less nerve-wracking if you made the video in a parking lot or driveway, rather than in busy traffic. That off my chest, completely agree with the sentiment and thought the kid’s images were terrific. Parents will definitely want them. Cheers-get your finger x-rayed…

Combining two things you love, hockey and photography! This is the way.
