Those are all 6-month or 12-month leases. I've never been asked about my visa when leasing. Sign the lease and give them money. There is no screening of tenants. I'm sure that's why the security deposits are so high-two months' rent.

I'm happy you enjoy the videos, Chris! I've never found any rentals in Udon Thani over 150cc. I enjoy Udon Thani, but that is the most significant negative for me, as I come from Thailand's best rental market, Pattaya.

The ADV160 is more comfortable. Its seat is 10/10, compared to other small scooters, and the Click160's is 8/10. They are excellent and two of the most comfortable little scooters I've ridden.

@@JakeSnowLiveSimple I have had a Click 160 for over 2 years. it is great for short in town trips but after 20-30 minutes on the road it is not very comfortable. I am 5 foot 10 inches and 165 lbs.

@@garyjones9764 The ADV160 is much better for longer trips. I currently ride mine 35-40 minutes into Udon Thani from my house in Nong Saeng every few days. I planned on buying an ADV350 for up here, but the 160 has been surprisingly very comfortable for long road trips. I also rode 1.5 hrs to the Laos border. Of course, a 350 is better, but I've been very surprised by how comfortable it is for a small cc scooter. We're about the same height, but I weigh about 20 lbs more. Some have said the ADV160 suspension is too stiff, but it's perfect for me. The Click 160 is a bit soft for me; I bottom the suspension out often with a passenger.

No, I've never had any issues riding in the rain with the tires on the ADV350 and ADV160. However, the back tire broke loose several times on dusty concrete while corning. When it's time to replace the tires, I'll get the Michelin City Grip 2 scooter tires. I have those on my XMAX; they are excellent on wet asphalt and concrete.

Any Honda motorbike dealership in Thailand is selling the ADV160 now for less than I paid. I bought the ADV at Mityon in Pattaya.

160cc and smaller are the best cheap rentals.

The extra fees for a fridge, TV, pool access, etc.. do seem strange.

ADV150 & 160 are my favorite in Thailand.

I like riding different motorbikes but don't want to own more than two.

You'll fit, no problem. You riding the XMAX is like me riding a Click 125. It functions perfectly fine, but it feels like riding a toy.

I use a U.S. phone number for both WeChat and Alipay with no problems. Neither app has prompted me to use a local Chinese number.
