this and your condo video- so good! short rapid fire of many options rather than other vloggers that would've dragged it out in many videos. Do more content.
Hello Mr Snow from Peter Eriksson Sweden! Love your video, its intresting and well done! Lots of usefull information about prices! We are visiting Thailand Jan to April 2024 and looking forward to this Journey a lot. From Peter & Sonja Eriksson Sweden Europe with Love! ❤😊😊
@Jake Snow this gives an old man hope. I want to retire there in Thailand but want to live a low key quiet life. I know it has been awhile sine you posted this video but can you please put a google location link for this market...Thanks!
Hi BJ, here is the location link goo.gl/maps/4XH7aEMearzuhcNKA I lived right down the road from this market for about 6 months in Si Racha. Most people don't speak English there, but I liked it.
Youhit the three "C's" nicely. It was clear, complete, and concise. Well done. If I can swing it I will relocate to Thailand. The largest issues for me, a disabled Vet, are health care and immigration. Maybe you could hit those topics down the road.
Thanks for the great breakdowns. Many fallangs say that cooking at home is the same price as eating at Thai restaurants and you've confirmed my suspicions. I mostly shop at Walmart cooking all my own meals and spend < $200 (6,000 baht) per month, I figured that < 4,000 was about right and that's what you got. Of course I wont be doing that so my budget is ~ double or so.Thanks again.
Bro that market is awesome. And you can be sure that food is naturally grown unlike here in the states where everything is processed and made with chemicals!! I need the address for that place! I am going through all of your videos!! This is some of the best information yet, so thanks for the video!!
👊🏼 Healthy food is cheap food in Thailand. Market location maps.app.goo.gl/aBgmTM1CCc5rez4AA There are markets like this everywhere in Thailand. I especially like the markets in Isaan, in the small farm communities.
I enjoy your videos! Very interesting! Obviously the storage and display of meats etc are different from the US. Did you have any difficulty adjusting to the food?
Thanks for watching! No, I didn't have any problems adjusting to the food. Seeing how food, especially meat, is handled in South East Asia was a surprise the first time I came here but it just seems normal now. I've never been sick from the food and I've never encountered expired meat while in Asia.
I've never had food poisoning from eating at local food stands in Southeast Asia, such as Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, or Vietnam. I always smell the food before I eat, especially seafood. I've had the worst food poisoning in the US from restaurants, always chicken or seafood.
I'd take that whole chicken cut in half, two whole fish with some vegetables and rice that's 4 days worth of food right there plus pork and meat for 3 days that would be my weekly Staples of eating

You're welcome. The food cost in Thailand has been a pleasant surprise for me while living here.

Great video jake thanks moving to pattaya nov 2023 🤙🇨🇦
Thank you! 🙏🏽
November, beginning of the perfect winter weather in Thailand.
Is it safe to eat the food from the stands like u go to places like India and it is unsanitary is it the same here
I've never had food poisoning from eating at local food stands in Southeast Asia, such as Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, or Vietnam. I always smell the food before I eat, especially seafood. I've had the worst food poisoning in the US from restaurants, always chicken or seafood.
Jake mate you are ripped
Lol, I do my best to stay fit so I can eat more Thai food.
I feel bad about the number of plastic bags, plastic cups and straws. I wish there was less plastic and more recycling.
I think the same.
I'd take that whole chicken cut in half, two whole fish with some vegetables and rice that's 4 days worth of food right there plus pork and meat for 3 days that would be my weekly Staples of eating
Inexpensive to eat healthily in Thailand; it's wonderful.
