Hello! Living and working in Thailand would be an excellent experience for you. I was a heavy equipment mechanic in my younger years. I would have enjoyed working in other countries for the experience.
You asked about pets, thank you. This is critical info for me as I'm planning to move there with my dog july-sept. I've actually been thinking I might need to choose the Philippines as the price of airfare and having a literal dog sitter might be cheaper there than rent in Thailand for the medical tourism I'm heading out there for.
I'm in the process of planning a move to Pattaya. I enjoyed this video, it's not another video of the shiny new high rises in Jomtien. I particularly liked the "provide your own mattress" unit. I would much rather buy a top quality memory foam mattress than sleep on the provided ones that are less comfortable than my carpeted floor where I live now. In addition, I just want an open space to divide up how I want rather than the rigid layout of new condos. I'm undecided about laundry. Am I better off having someone else do it? If I'm doing it myself, I really want a dryer. I used drying racks in Ukraine and they leave my clothes wrinkled and stiff whereas a tumble dryer has my clothes come out soft. Having a weekly maid service is a must for me, I'm glad you mentioned it. I really need to find someone who I can talk with about renting or buying a unit in some of the older buildings. I'm even willing to pay for build out the way I want it set up.

Thank you very much for your video - all is excellent, the information is presented perfectly: everything is brief, clear and to the point. Could you please suggest if there any person or agency who could help with renting? Of course not just for "Thank you"😉 Currently I'm in Pattaya, renting a Condo through the Booking, but i would like to rent for a long-term (6+ months) and as I see it's much cheaper to contact with owner, but I'm afraid that a lot of locals don't speak very well on English, and it could lead to some misunderstanding or long time of explanation through translator😔
You're welcome. 🙏🏼 Unfortunately, I don't have a person or agency to recommend. Many of the owners and managers speak English, or at least broken English. The workers who usually show me the units speak poor to no English. Using a pocket translator or phone app to translate can be painfully slow. I find it easy to make new friends in Thailand. Female friends, especially, are happy to help translate when looking for condos, opening bank accounts, etc...
You're welcome👊🏼. Foreigners can purchase condos. A condominium complex is limited to 49% foreigner ownership. We can also purchase a house by using a Thai comapny that purchases the property on our behalf.
I really enjoyed the concise information and the range of places you cover. However, it would be much more helpful if you pinpointed each condo/apartment on a map and include their addresses. The Google Map you circle at the beginning tells us pretty much nothing.
The Google Map links are in the video description, and they are always there for all of my condo videos. Hey brother thank you for the vid. Can you do one on 2 bedrooms AC elevator and pet friendly. Pool and gym would be nice. I appreciate your vids on this. I’m working on moving out there in a year and been curious on pricing and where to go.
That 2 bedroom unit was nice, but $900 per month seemed way too expensive. Is it this high because it is high season, and do you expect that it would be less after high season??
There are many 1 bedroom/1 bath, and studios avaialble, which keeps the rent rates low. There are less 2 bedroom/2 bath units avaialble. During the low season I think a person has a better chance of negotiating a lower price.
Just found the channel and dropped a subscribe. I'm looking to visit for 6 months and the last apartment fits my wants quite well, especially with the gym, pool + location and facilities. I'd really like the 2 bed but it's probably too much for me as a solo traveller - I may as well have the extra spending money for entertainment purposes. Sadly The 1 bed looks a little smaller than average though for 1 bed at 47sqm...Do you happen to know any other properties that pretty much have all the same perks and price but a little larger, perhaps 55-65sqm range? I really could use a desk in the room...
Thank you! Yes, check out the other condo videos I uploaded. I will also upload a new condo video soon. There are so many options in Pattaya. When I arrive at a new location, I usually stay at a hotel for a week. That gives me time to check out the area and condos in person and find precisely what I'm looking for. Arriving before Nov. 1st will provide you with the most options. However, many are still available during the busy November - February season. Availability is excellent; that's been my experience.
From what I've seen, the 2 and 3 bedroom units demand a much higher monthly rent. There is a surplus of studio and 1 bedroom/ 1 bath units and a shortage of 2 and 3 bedroom units.
great video showing prices that matter and quickly. Can't believe how much cheaper it is. I could live over there like a kind on just my Pension and not even touch my other accounts LOL
My U.S. home base is near the beaches of the Gulf Coast. A three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit in similar condition to the last two units in the video sells for $800+, while a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit sells for $400K+.
Now this is how you show condos. Just the basics, fast and internet speed.

Unfortunately, I don't have a person or agency to recommend.
Thanks for the great content buddy. I thought it’s not possible for a foreigner to purchase property in Thailand. Has something changed?
You're welcome👊🏼. Foreigners can purchase condos. A condominium complex is limited to 49% foreigner ownership. We can also purchase a house by using a Thai comapny that purchases the property on our behalf.
Liked and Subbed! Your a wealth of information! TY!
Thank you! 🙏
Thanks Sir, very informative and to the Point Videos, not some tired babbling af Video, thanks for your Straightforwardness....
You're welcome, and thank you. I do my best. 🙏🏼
The Google map in the video is only used to show viewers the general area of the city I'm looking at.
Here are the links.

Great video but can you put markers for each apt so they are easy to find. Thanks
That's a good idea, thanks.
I liked this video. The last one was the best.
Thank you for the feed back. 👊🏼
Great video , very informative, please make more content for us 💪🏽🙏🏽
Thank you! 👊🏼 I'll do my best.
That free wifi is excellent. Keep all the appliances and streaming fees. I'll provide my own.
👌🏼
Hey brother thank you for the vid. Can you do one on 2 bedrooms AC elevator and pet friendly. Pool and gym would be nice. I appreciate your vids on this. I’m working on moving out there in a year and been curious on pricing and where to go.
You're welcome, and thank you. I'll see what I can find. 👊🏼
Loved the 1 bedroom in the last one.
👌🏼
Thanks for the updates on the condo apartment's I am retiring and moving to Thailand next year 😂
You're welcome. 👊🏼
This video is the definition of efficiency. Well done sir.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
@@JakeSnowLiveSimpleThanks for that info. And good to know that prices might possibly be negotiated lower in the off season.
@@georgeandy6923 You're welcome. 👊🏼
thank for your review, im gonna retire in either bangkok or somewhere that has a gym an a pool...
You're welcome. There are many cities in Thailand to choose from. Bangkok is too hot and busy for me. Lol
Great and detailed videos, outstanding. Thanks
You're welcome, and thank you! 👊🏼
Excellent video. Very informative. Your girl has nice ink work. Like & subscribed.
Thank you. Gig says, thanks! 🙏🏼
it is good you talk about the smell!
A foul smell always reveals underlying problems.
The perfect video bro keep it up 👍👍
Thanks!
Please do more of these? Really enjoyed it.
I'll do my best. I'm happy you enjoyed. 👊🏼
Excellent Video. Very well done!! Thank you.
You're welcome, and thank you!
Great INFORMATIVE video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, I'm happy you liked it!
Very fast pace, efficient and informative. 👍
I'm glad you liked it. 👊🏼
35000 bht per month for what looked like no more than 40sqm in central pattaya with no (sea) view is insanely high.
From what I've seen, the 2 and 3 bedroom units demand a much higher monthly rent. There is a surplus of studio and 1 bedroom/ 1 bath units and a shortage of 2 and 3 bedroom units.
Those APUS units were lovely..
I agree, very nice units.
great video showing prices that matter and quickly. Can't believe how much cheaper it is. I could live over there like a kind on just my Pension and not even touch my other accounts LOL
Thank you, I'm happy you liked it. Inexpensive living and pleasant women who are happy to care for their man. I love Thailand.
The last one is amazing. I wonder how much it would cost in Canada for example... 800k?
My U.S. home base is near the beaches of the Gulf Coast. A three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit in similar condition to the last two units in the video sells for $800+, while a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit sells for $400K+.
great vid, with the move in costs and the utilities
Thank you! 🙏🏼
