    Great review. I have been looking at alternatives to motorcycles after an accident last year left me with a lack of mobility in the right leg, I was rear ended on my way to the TT 😢.
    The ADV350 has become my focus. They are very popular here in the UK so not easy to find, but this video has inspired me to get on with it ..... After this years Isle of Man TT 😃.
    Ps, love Thailand, next trip later this year to our house in Bangkok.

    Jake always enjoy your honest review on bikes in Thailand you should do some vids on fitness gym and tips on diet keeping in shape in Thailand can I ask which is faster X max 300 v Foza350 v ADV350
    I find the little 160 click great for traffic but lacks space under seat Jake you can also modify the exhaust and fuel injector and remap if you want more power but ha be safe on them roads and always cover the brake

    • @JakeSnowLiveSimple
      @JakeSnowLiveSimple  10 месяцев назад +1

      I'm happy you enjoy the reviews. Thank you for the, staying fit tips in Thailand, idea.
      The XMAX has a higher top speed. The Hondas' acceleration is better.
      The ADV350 and Forza350 acceleration from a dead stop is noticeably better than the XMAX. Once up to speed, the mid-range acceleration is close on all three, but the Hondas are still better. The engine specs and weight are almost identical on the Forza and ADV, but the ADV feels faster than the Forza from the seat of my pants. It could be the seating position and less fairing up front creating the experience. I'd like to race these two against each other someday.
      The XMAX has a higher top speed and is the most comfortable to ride at highway speeds. I've ridden my XMAX down US interstates very comfortably for long rides. The Forza is the worst to ride at top speed due to buffeting. The negative airspace created when the windscreen is all the way up is extremely annoying.

    Great video! I have the exact same read edition for more than a year now overall very happy and find it very zippy personally I’m a bit disappointed that there is no way to adjust the rear suspension. I’m pretty lightweight and it’s not comfortable at all on bumpy roads, have you find by any chance anyway to adjust that?

    • @JakeSnowLiveSimple
      @JakeSnowLiveSimple  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! The rear suspension was perfect for me, so I never considered the adjustment. Changing the two rear spring/shock assemblies with aftermarket would be easy and give a good adjustment range. I'm surprised the spring load is not adjustable like the Forza 350. I'll be more vigilant about suspension adjustment next time I do a motorbike review.

    Lighter rollers give higher rpm but is there more usable power for acceleration?

    Pretty sure you were not going 145 km/h during the end ;-) This scoot is famous for its crap accuracy on speedometer. On GPS you were lucky if it was 130. But of course not bad for such heavy and big scooter with just 350 engine. Curious what will Mallosi Force 2 do with that.

      Yeah, that's right. It hits 146 km/h, the same as the stock 350 I rode, but it doesn't hold it, so I said 145. GPS puts it at 81 MPH (130.4 km/h) when the speedometer reads 145 km/h (90 mph). Every motorcycle and scooter I've ridden always reads high whenever I do a top-speed test. This has been a minor annoyance going back to the 1990s for me. I was surprised at how close my XMAX speedometer was to GPS.
