@@jimsadler8704 It was quite late, but I was considering it. I had a quick photoshoot at Brundells then made my way back. Waste of time really because the Brundells photos never made the edit ha!
I am riding bikes over 20 years now… my first bike was 50cc, then upgraded to 250cc scooter and parallel with him, i ve got k7 1000, then changed to z750…,later to Y tmax 530, now i am having only this 350adv(since last year)… and no way would change it for anything any time sooner…. So definitely it’s not just for beginners…. It’s one of the best, maybe the best all rounder, my previous tmax was definitely more comfy on open roads but trough a city this honda is the king, and tmax was a bit to heavy trough a heavy trafic, and don’t forget to mention 6,7 l on 100kmh… Also honda adv 750 is a good bike but a way to expensive for what you get out of this 350… Maybe in some positions, honda adv 350 missing couple horsepower more, but it’s all relevant…(maybe honda will make something like 400/450 adv, which would be the best all rounder… My guess is that Yamaha will catch up with something similar soon, because yamaha xmax 300 is not even close as good as honda adv 350…. Besides this, Your video is a great one, other videos when they start reviewing by saying that it has usb port I just skip after 20 seconds if you know what I mean….
Been waiting for this video. Lol i think the only down side to this scooter is actually getting hold of one. There all sold on the ship before they even come in. They are selling huge numbers. An i still want one.
I had a Suzuki Burgman 400. An older one. Used. No ABS. I laid that thing down more times than I care to remember or admit. A scooter? Never again. Happy with my RE Meteor 350, thank you very much 🤗👍✌️
Same experience I had with mine. The 400 burgman is a heavy, ungainly beast, but this should be much much better as its a lot lighter and has good suspension.
best review i have seen on these. motor cycle news liked it too. i have one the same colour since end of Feb. and my son has also one on customer order he is looking forward to. he is also having a grey one. best wishes.
As a Forza 750 owner this is really interesting. I get between 16-17mpl riding it gently. Why the 750’s don’t get the adjustable windscreen beats me when it is on the 350’s. Great review.
Adjustable windscreen is like electric seat in the car - completely useless. You set it dozens of times per day? No. Because there are no reasons to do so. The adjustable windshield on the Forza 350 is poorly made and makes a terrible noise on bumps. If someone says no, he is a liar. I drove Forza.
@@podunkman2709 fair enough, the screen on the ADV350 doesn't rattle at all. Like you say , I set the screen and left it there, but its nice to have the options for different riders.
I have just done a 2,000 mile tour of Thailand on an ADV 350. First class on the winding mountain roads. Very economical. Lots of storage space under the seat. One issue I had, it felt firm over the bad road surfaces. I would be interested to see if the suspension is adjustable, it could do with being a little softer. But overall, a first class bike.
Hi there Exmouth Biker 😉 if money and garage space were no object, one of these would be a very useful and enjoyable tool for all sorts of jobs and I’d probably get one ! Thanks for adding yet another bike to my list of bikes I’d like to own ! Cheers 🥃 ER
I would like your opinion on the Honda ADV 350 v Yamaha Xmax 300. I am thinking of buying one of these and would appreciate your views. Many thanks for your excellent detailed and helpful reviews.
Thanks very much...The ADV is much taller than the Xmax, yet the Yamaha feels more of a road bike...its a tough one when both are such good bikes. I am trying to get more Yamahas but I'm not getting very far with it! I will keep trying!
Really Nice and relax review. Just tested one yesterday. was indeed surprised with the power of the acceleration (for a 350), outperforming my Silverwing 400 and far more lighter. the windscreen is a bit flimsy and making a rattling noise (due to the construction design) but that's my only complaint. other then that? I'm buying it today 🙂
Looks a great looking machine, I think beinv a 350 they should have enough power to hold their own on dual carriageways and motorways, more than just a commuter I think, for longer distances too, maybe even a bit of touring. I think Maxi scoots have the benefit of being fun and practical all in one package especially with the weather protection and storage. Good review mate.
Be extremely careful you don’t lose your keys. Both of mine were lost during a move in early March. Honda has replacement keys on back order…with no estimated time of arrival. My 2022 ADV 150, with less than 200 miles on it, has been nothing more than an expense paper weight for months. And no estimate on when the problem will be fixed. Beyond frustrating!
Out of what you mentioned there I would have the ADV, however I think will be alot to be said for the SH350....and 125...I hope I can review one some time.
Nice video great job sir ! Im from south of france now is not available for purchase, there is a waiting list. I was wondering if I wait for the new XP400 from peugeot or ADV 350... great review anyway
Hi There , lm liking your videos thanks for those , can i ask if the ADV 350 has a charging point under the seat please , im interested as i plan to buy one , thanks again mick.
Hi, Thanks for watching, its not under the seat on this one its in the left small compartment next to the handle bars...It should be easy to add one uner the seat though. Thanks Mick
is frame dimensions and weight close to the adv 750? here in US neither available. anyway watching for fun but i would like the 750 if i x-pat somewhere else.
Bought it 2022 yr. But i have a problem with the switch and ignition. Sometimes with ignition on and stand up etc.the bike doesnt start. and sometimes I can't turn the switch all the way left to put the steering lock on. Its so annoying.
Really enjoyed this, at 44 I have a Honda NC750X DCT, not sure whether to get this ADV350 or a Honda CL500 that doesn't have luggage but looks great geared fun😮, I am 50/50, I don't know what to do! 😂😊
It really depends what you do on a bike////if its just social pleasure riding then the CL is the way to go , but for bigger all year round miles then I'd say the ADV.....No wrong decision really. The 750x is a heck of a bike....
Wonder if this bike is compatible with side luggage cases, cos i wanna use it for travelling/touring. Not sure if these lugagges can be installed on a scooter?
Scooters are great and the improvements over the years are phenomenal and as usual Honda rises to the top my only dislike is the drone exhausts but I’ve yet to hear an aftermarket slip on improve that past now it’s loud and annoying so one of the rare factory exhausts that would stay put for me. Just not so popular here in the states but fuel prices are changing that rapidly. This would be perfect for the wife and myself or just myself.
I saw a Forza with a refit for the exhaust, it made it quite loud, but it took away the heat from the under seat storage compartment, and didn't look as neat as the original. I'm told it improved performance a bit.
Nice review, I was surprised how roomy it was at 6:2 and in fat bot category I was more comfortable on it than when I tried a Bergman and a V Max. I thought you got a umbrella as oe with them 😉 . Keep the reviews coming.👍
Hello mate. Yes its not bad is it, dash is at a nice height too....I should have used that brolly or what was the point taking it ha! Have a good week mate : )
Great review, what I really like is that it has great build quality and that under seat storage! Reminds me of the practicality of the nc750! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts against the bigger scooter in the series. It's double the price but I's it double the bike? Would genuinely consider this as a daily! Great review. Take care and ride safe 😊🖖🏼
You would really appreciate the lack of vibration on this scooter aswell. You literally get nothing at all coming up through. The storage is so handy and negates the need for a top box. 5700 is a really good price for a scoot that will do it all. Thanks 👍🙏
Sounds like you really like the ADV350. Some scooters look big, bulky and top heavy, but because the weight is carried really low they are super easy to ride.
I bet that's not a U.S. model. It has rear disk brakes. The only 2010 or newer U.S. model Honda scooter that has disk brakes is the Silverwing. They don't even give you disk brakes as an option for the ADV150. I nave a SH150i with 43,000 miles. They don't sell the ring pressed into the rear wheel, so the next time I replace the rear brakes, I have to replace the rear wheel.
Yes , its very difficult times for all manufactures. No light at the end of the tunnel either sadly : ( The wait will be worth it but its not good is it mate : (
Good review mate !! I own a ADV150 and would love Honda to import the ADV350 into Australia , which it does not. As I would upgrade straight away , As the little 150 struggles at times, but it is still a great machine. We only get the 350 Forza , which does not much in the styling for me. I Might have to change to Yamaha Xmax 300 in the futue, if Honda Australia does not come here.
Hi Steven, I have no preference mate. I dont know anything about the schools in Exeter TBH. If its just for a CBT then they are all the same, and its luck of the draw who you get with any school. I hope you get on OK though. Goodluck!

Poems on so many things, if you don't get bored not changing gears then the adv is good but if you like to be doing something when riding them it's the NX👍
Yes I think it's fine, if it's 50/60 MPH roads and your loaded with a pillion and luggage then it may start to get a little underpowered, but overall it works really well on those trips. I had a 200 mile day on it and it did fine 👍
@@exeterrider I have the earlier SH300 and at 72yrs and 6' 2", it's brilliant for me. Relatively overlooked amongst UK scooters, I now prefer it to my Honda Silverwing 600 for general riding. The 16" wheels make a lot of difference.
@Geoff An arthritic hip means that Forza "hump" can be impossible to manage and, once seated, the width of the seat and floorboards can aggravate the condition. Because of this, I'm selling my Silverwing 600. I find the seat height, flat floor, and slimness of my SH300i is great for my condition. Did 160 miles on it a few days ago.
Always enjoy and respect your reviews. How did you find it in comparison to the Forza 350? I bought the Forza 350 last year on the strength of a 4 day hire (test drive) of the old Forza 300. Unfortunately, here in Thailand we are suffering a fault that Honda Manufacturing Thailand have said they will look into, in that with hands off the bars or very loosely gripped, the handle bars shake violently between 30-70kms/hr., and it feels very unsafe. I've seen comments on chat forums, and it appears there is no such problem in Europe or Australia. I changed the cheap factory tyres for properly balanced Michelin road grip 2's, but it didn't make any difference. Have you experienced or heard of this problem with any UK models? I would very much appreciate your / the dealers feedback on this issue. Thanks.
Hi, I personally prefer it to the Forza. The riding position, stability, and general feel seems better. I haven't heard of any of the issues you mention there, and had no sign of this happening from 3 weeks and 500 miles on the ADV I had or the Forza. That's all I can say on that one. Thanks so much for your input and watching my reviews. Can't do it without you 👍📺

Thanks for the feedback on the Forza 350. I forgot to mention, there's a RUclips vlog by "Red Cowboy - Speed wobbles" that shows the problem very well. I've just re-contacted Honda Thailand, since waiting 2 weeks for their reply and solution to the problem and, would you believe, they say they can't find the phone number of their Krabi Town centre main agent...?? I think we know where this is going - nowhere...! 😒
@@am2am2am2am Thanks for your feedback. Oddly enough that worked the first time, but I needed the box on a long trip. When I got back and tried an H2C mounting bracket it didn't help, but worse still when I removed it the shakes continued. It would be a good choice mate. Although compared to your awesome bike it lacks a bit of gear engagement ,bit never the less its a good scoot. I nearly had a nose bleed going over Bickleigh Bridge.
@@exeterrider I see that car drivers are still trying to re-design the walls of the bridge. You should have carried on to Tivvy and popped in for a cuppa.
It’s one of the best, maybe the best all rounder, my previous tmax was definitely more comfy on open roads but trough a city this honda is the king, and tmax was a bit to heavy trough a heavy trafic, and don’t forget to mention 6,7 l on 100kmh…
Also honda adv 750 is a good bike but a way to expensive for what you get out of this 350…
Maybe in some positions, honda adv 350 missing couple horsepower more, but it’s all relevant…(maybe honda will make something like 400/450 adv, which would be the best all rounder…
My guess is that Yamaha will catch up with something similar soon, because yamaha xmax 300 is not even close as good as honda adv 350….
Besides this, Your video is a great one, other videos when they start reviewing by saying that it has usb port I just skip after 20
seconds if you know what I mean….
Thanks Marco for your time watching the video, Id like to see them make a 450 scoot aswell.
Great product, thanks for video
Thanks for watching Brian 📺👍
I wish more reviews showed u turns great review
Thanks David
Great review thanks, ordered mine on March 21, still no sign of it (Carlisle)
Sorry to hear that Adrian. Your not alone. Let me know when you have it if you don't mind 👍🍻
@@exeterrider I’ll let you know, same colour as your test bike too, thanks
I have one on order, currently due March 2023, same colour as your test bike. Already have Vespa 300gts Super but expect Honda to handle better.
It will for sure. Good news well done : )
Ah, thanks for the shout out!
Very nice little scooter, this 👍
Thanks for the footage, yes it's brill👍
its not little.
@@johnbellamy6449 🤣🤣🤣 probably not! Just a little bit of "big" geared bike snobbery creeping in. I definitely have nothing against scooters.
Been waiting for this video. Lol i think the only down side to this scooter is actually getting hold of one. There all sold on the ship before they even come in. They are selling huge numbers. An i still want one.
Yes supply is an issue I know. I think they are on pre order is the only way at the moment.
our son told it could be September. ordered end of April i think.
Fair enough. I owned a 650 Burgman Non ABS. I loved it but this ADV is next 2 levels again.
Yes I think its a better option ,the ADV is really tight to ride and run.
I've been riding bikes for 50 years and had a Forza 300 for 6 years. It handles and stops just fine, no chicken strips on the tyres! 😉
best review i have seen on these. motor cycle news liked it too. i have one the same colour since end of Feb. and my son has also one on customer order he is looking forward to. he is also having a grey one. best wishes.
Appreciate that John Thanks. Let me know when he gets it, just so I can gauge lead times for others. Thanks
Very nice review
Glad you liked it, Thankyou
As a Forza 750 owner this is really interesting. I get between 16-17mpl riding it gently. Why the 750’s don’t get the adjustable windscreen beats me when it is on the 350’s.
Great review.
Thanks, I'm wondering wheather it's because they're is more to compete with in the 350 range? Just a guess really. But this bike has it all 👍🍻
Adjustable windscreen is like electric seat in the car - completely useless.
@@podunkman2709 Fair enough. I had one on a BMWR1100RT and it was really useful.
@@podunkman2709 I only bring it up when it's raining.
Yes I know where your coming from there, a pusher ride would be nice I must admit 👍
Good review!
Thanks!
Nice one👍
just wonder, can you adjust the suspension? heated grips ?
Yes you can adjust the back suspension...I think they do optional heated grips as well but check that.
Hi there Exmouth Biker 😉

I would like your opinion on the Honda ADV 350 v Yamaha Xmax 300. I am thinking of buying one of these and would appreciate your views. Many thanks for your excellent detailed and helpful reviews.
Thanks very much...The ADV is much taller than the Xmax, yet the Yamaha feels more of a road bike...its a tough one when both are such good bikes.
I am trying to get more Yamahas but I'm not getting very far with it! I will keep trying!
@@exeterriderThanks for your reply. What about the new Forza 350 v 2024 Xmax 300? It’s difficult find good comparisons of these latest models.
Can’t wait for it to come to America I am looking forward to having to 350
Hopfully it will arrive soon 👍🍻
Really Nice and relax review. Just tested one yesterday. was indeed surprised with the power of the acceleration (for a 350), outperforming my Silverwing 400 and far more lighter. the windscreen is a bit flimsy and making a rattling noise (due to the construction design) but that's my only complaint. other then that? I'm buying it today 🙂
Great to hear! If I wanted a scoot again this would be my first choice as well . Goodluck!
Thanks mate, you're right, this was really comfortable to ride, no vibrations, a lot to be said for it, thanks 😎
My god thats awful. I feel for you..... Any oats for bikes at the moment is a knitemare!
U got lesson to care about things. I cannot even imagine how one could lose key...
These things do happen to use all though, any thing is possible.
I am very surprised by that...I would have thought it would do well where you are.
a perfect bike that'll do EVERYTHIG you need on any UK road.
Yeap exactly that BB👍🍻

Thanks for this, it’s really helpful. I’m considering a Forza 350 but now thinking the ADV might be the one to get?
I prefer it, although your more "perched" on top. It feels and looks more capable👍🍻
im looking for a run about for town this looks like its a good contender
Its an easy bike to live with, and will do it all!
@hondamotorcycles When is this coming to the US???
Enjoyed that, thank you! So, you want a Honda auto scooter, used Integra or new ADV?
Will you be doing an SH350 review one day?
Out of what you mentioned there I would have the ADV, however I think will be alot to be said for the SH350....and 125...I hope I can review one some time.
Nice video great job sir ! Im from south of france now is not available for purchase, there is a waiting list.
I was wondering if I wait for the new XP400 from peugeot or ADV 350...

Hi, no they are totally different. Id like to try the 750 for sure 👍
I'll be watching this later. 👌🏾

Bought it 2022 yr. But i have a problem with the switch and ignition. Sometimes with ignition on and stand up etc.the bike doesnt start. and sometimes I can't turn the switch all the way left to put the steering lock on. Its so annoying.
I bet it is, at least you have the warranty to fall back on👍
While starting pull brake stronger…🙂
@@arturkrukar1252 yes!!! I found this out. Its not the bike. It's me. Since I've pulled brake in harder the bike starts fine. So happy 😊

Just thinking whether to go for CB350 or ADV350
No wrong decision there!
Wonder if this bike is compatible with side luggage cases, cos i wanna use it for travelling/touring. Not sure if these lugagges can be installed on a scooter?
It can be yes, I think honda may do their own luggage
Scooters are great and the improvements over the years are phenomenal and as usual Honda rises to the top my only dislike is the drone exhausts but I’ve yet to hear an aftermarket slip on improve that past now it’s loud and annoying so one of the rare factory exhausts that would stay put for me. Just not so popular here in the states but fuel prices are changing that rapidly. This would be perfect for the wife and myself or just myself.
I'd have one. Like you say with the fuel prices which are also becoming silly over here, a 350 makes a lot of sense!
I saw a Forza with a refit for the exhaust, it made it quite loud, but it took away the heat from the under seat storage compartment, and didn't look as neat as the original. I'm told it improved performance a bit.
What would be your choice between the Adv or the Forza?
Great review
No wrong answer there. But I like the commanding riding postion of the ADV and it kinda looks cooler I think.
I would love to actually see one! Are the brake levers the same reach as the forza 350?
I think so , but it was 3 years since I rode the Forza.
Nice review from down under god bless 👍😍
Thanks mate 👍🍻
Nice review, I was surprised how roomy it was at 6:2 and in fat bot category I was more comfortable on it than when I tried a Bergman and a V Max. I thought you got a umbrella as oe with them 😉 . Keep the reviews coming.👍

Just ordered one for next June
Can’t wait to ride it😊

Very nice. How would you compare this to the 300R? It is much heavier!
Id say the 300R feels heavier on top. The ADV holds its weight very low.
Thanks 👍🙏
@@exeterrider funnily enough I did see one in Spain, 6000 euros. Thought it would be a bigger difference!
I would not say nc750x has practical storage. It's only 23l. Good for nothing (not even for bigger helmet). ADV has real storage - I love it.
@@podunkman2709 still, its very handy. And for some, it negates the need for a topbox👍🍻
Sounds like you really like the ADV350. Some scooters look big, bulky and top heavy, but because the weight is carried really low they are super easy to ride.
Yeap, no vibes, and good storage. How your well mate. Have a good week 👍🍻

No I'm UK based. It's amazing how the same brand can be so different in other countrys.
Shame I can’t get one anywhere. Tried a few dealers quoting feb next year lead time.
Yes , its very difficult times for all manufactures. No light at the end of the tunnel either sadly : ( The wait will be worth it but its not good is it mate : (
Will I need a full license for this? Looking at cbt soon
Yes or an A2 licence 👍
Good review mate !! I own a ADV150 and would love Honda to import the ADV350 into Australia , which it does not. As I would upgrade straight away , As the little 150 struggles at times, but it is still a great machine. We only get the 350 Forza , which does not much in the styling for me. I Might have to change to Yamaha Xmax 300 in the futue, if Honda Australia does not come here.
Real shame that mate. Honda are missing out there 😔

It's liquid cooled single cylinder : )
What you recommend NX500 or ADV 350?
Poems on so many things, if you don't get bored not changing gears then the adv is good but if you like to be doing something when riding them it's the NX👍
Needs an x version with the dvt transmission and dual disc's on the front.
DCT transmission, the ultimate compromise
Nice video. What you think is this scooter good for short trips 100-200 miles?
Yes I think it's fine, if it's 50/60 MPH roads and your loaded with a pillion and luggage then it may start to get a little underpowered, but overall it works really well on those trips. I had a 200 mile day on it and it did fine 👍
How about a review on the Honda SH350 (same engine - smaller bike) which is especially good for those with knee/hip problems?
Id like to try it. The SH350 looks really practical to say the least.
@@exeterrider I have the earlier SH300 and at 72yrs and 6' 2", it's brilliant for me. Relatively overlooked amongst UK scooters, I now prefer it to my Honda Silverwing 600 for general riding. The 16" wheels make a lot of difference.
@@FlyingPanMan I can imagine it does. Id like to try one sometime

Wow, I wish I could get a 3 week test ride, in fact I wish I could get a 3 hour test ride. Some agents here in Thailand won't even let you sit on it in the showroom...!
I am in Europe and have same thing happening. Remove top case and will be fine. Common problem when bike or scooter have one.
@@am2am2am2am
Thanks for your feedback. Oddly enough that worked the first time, but I needed the box on a long trip. When I got back and tried an H2C mounting bracket it didn't help, but worse still when I removed it the shakes continued. The dealer mechanic assured me I needed new tyres, yet again, and sure enough it cured the problem, even with my cheap steel mounting bracket and top box still attached. C'est la vie...!!
Did you take it off road abit like green lanes
No I didnt, it's not an offroader, light tarmac lanes is all is good for 👍
You say you were getting 80-87 uk mpg, but the display clearly showed 14.2 miles per litre, over 360 miles on trip A, that works out as just under 65 uk mpg. 🤔
Yes I remember that. I wasnt sure if I was doing something wrong with the dash there because it wasn't right. It seemed to change when I filled up which is confusing. Sorry its not much of an answer but between 80 and 85 was what it normally was. 🤷🏻
And if they bring it to America, I would buy one!!!
Fingers crossed!
