I'm over here using smite to make every horde easy mode for my team mates and venting to kill everything on the map

3 months later, and I can safely say that the Plasma Gun still stands as the great sci-fi boomtube of Warhammer 40,000 (and Darktide in particular!) I currently have the idea to build mine around the playstyle premise of: ● When I need to charge a shot, it's because I want *_you,_* (and any poor heretic several feet neaby you) in particular, to not exist. ● When I need to spam my shots, it won't immediately explode (because I know better and am too cool to die to my own gun - pun intended). Sadly, I'm still unsure about what to build to make it work...

Assault, Bulwark and Vanguard should get a huge buff to damage.

Let's be honest. If you're playing Assault without the Hammer, you're not really playing assault.

Darktide and vermentide are garbage . Mechanics of a game from 20 years ago , none stop enemy waves , combat feels 15 yrs old . The missions and levels are so forgetable ntm all the bugs they both are loaded with bugs. Idk why GW loves putting out subpar games . Even space marines 2 . Fun game but so basic and essentially just a 6 hour long horde mode

This build, with a Blessed Reload V4 and popping the blue stim injector has been my only Ogryn build ever. I also have brain rot from playing so much Ogryn.

Man the deathwatch pauldrons are so good, I put them on all 3 of the classes I play even though I know the lore behind it takes them out of their chapter.

Nah, the melee weapon does matter a bit. The combat knife is the best for the vanguard role.

personally prefer the power fist, something about superman punching xenos and heretics gets me going.

Ahhh, the "Good on paper" build. As amazing as it sounds, most psykers that run this will be popping their own heads while I stand there with zappy fingers.

Shame the assult cant support or take out neurothorpes efficiently, making it one of the worst classes in the game.

If you play tactical with meltagun, you are making yourself significantly more useless for the team if you can just take bolters 😂..the meltagun makes sense for the reiver
