I want a farcry like game where you’re a lone guardsman after an astounding loss against the Orks and your main objective is to send a distress beacon and get the hell out. But there’s a giant Waagh between you and your escape.

I just want an official Chapter Master game that isn’t one of those mobile games based off clash of clans.
Like dwarf fortress but 40k or like those NFL games where you could pick your own teams colors and mascot and had a system for recruiting people based on stats and stuff
I'd love a Battlefront style game where it's guard vs tau. I think the individual unit strengths would be balanced enough to make an a-symetric tech tree progression system like enlisted, just without the gaijin grind.
This would actually work out VERY well. The potential vehicles you would be able to pilot / drive would be pretty expansive too.
Add in traitor guard as a third option, with mostly the same units as guard but more chaotic options like daemons and maybe chaos astartes
@@Jeficus @tau-5794 I think adding the Eldar as well as TG could work really really well. Throw in the ability to customise regiments cosmetically and I think this could really be a winner.
This would be such a cool idea and I would say you could add maybe two more factions like the Eldar and Orks. Plus you could have something similar to the hero’s in Battlefront.
Gotta get in gene stealer cult too, and possibly a 4th faction
I would like a city building game. Where you command your own hive city and get too choose which path you would like to take. Kind of like frost punk.
could see potential in this in the sense whichever company could also port it to phone and make banks there too
@@beanboy1107 It would be great. Giving the player to choose how to run there city. Stay Loyal to the Imperium, embrace Chaos, Join the Tau or make way for the Tyranid swarm. etc

I have and played it. I was thinking more on the lines to Frost Punk.
The fact we don't have a "Star Wars Battlefront 2" for 40k is absolutely criminal to me. The system that game uses would be PERFECT for a chaotic multiplayer 40k game, and it could even have battles across the 40k timeline. One game you're playing the 4th Tyranic War, the other you're on the Siege of Terra.
Battlefront 2 does this, having battles happening in each of the trilogies. I can see it happening for 40k.
YES FINALLY SOMEONE AGREES!!!! Imagine the sheer scale of every single war fought in 30k to 40k and the 42nd millenniums, The siege of vraks, the siege of Terra, the badab war, the drop site massacre, the 13th black crusades, the fall of cadia (with an epic cinematic moments and beautiful music as it plays when the planet falls) the ullanor crusades, the first, second, third and fourth tyrannic wars, and the list goes on and on like literally man it would be fucking awesome to see a game like that, the beauty of it too would be amazing, but at last this is only a dream that would never come true or maybe some day within my lifetime I know that they won’t have all the battles that the imperium fought or every Xenos factions battle but it would be cool though.
@@bryan...5047 god... fighting in the fall of cadia would be incredible. Only problems I could see with these is that we know the outcome of these battles, and the power-scaling would be kinda off in a game like this

a win would be a small win for youre team that makes you mabye survive but in the grand scale you still lost
A souls like 40k game would be amazing, maybe a guardsman or inquisitors acolyte going through a hive city invasion or chaos uprising
They should make a necron sekiro style game where ur an overlord defending his tombworld from the impirium i imagine that would be hype
while it's a bit more niche i'd add mechanicus to the list of the greats
I just beg for space marine 2 to be good.
So far it looks too good to be true, so im guessing its going to come out with some major issues.
I really hope there’s a standalone DLC or spinoff for space marine 2 where you play as a sister of battle. I also wish there was a battlefield 4, battlefront 1 style game. Gaurdsmen, sisters, Space marines vs. Orks, Gene Stealers/, Chaos Space Marines. Or whatever enemy factions can be adapted best. Old school battlefield Class systems and lots of customization. Tanks, Valkyrie gunships, dreds. First and third person.
I didn't know I need Souls-like Warhammer game in my life until you said this out loud.
Something I would love to see is a vr titan/imperial knight game, similar to freeblade.
If they made a kind of Battlefront 2 Galactic Conquest/ RISK style game with different factions a la Dawn of War, I’d play it. Factions, vehicles, and different environments, and customization would be great.
I want a SWTOR style MMO with multiple choice stories, loads of class options and customisation choices, and a reputation system.
Mechanics 2 the trailer looks amazing as hell and I can,t wait to hear the sound track for this game as well I know it will be a banger!
I want a single player game where you are a part of a imperial guard regiment and you from world to world and battle to battle. And in between missions you can free roam throughout the base camp.
Give me a game to manage imperial logistics, I want an insurmountable task in a game
I’d love to see an AoS souls-like; I mean, the Stormcast are kinda Unhollowed already IIRC. I also think a Total War or HOI4-style battlefield simulator set in AoS would be great!
We REALLY need a good AOS game.
Man, I feel like I'm one of the only people who isn't excited about the idea of a 40k Total War. If I had to guess, it's probably down to the fact that I know a little more about CA and TW than the average consumer.
On one hand, modern CA, as a company, is barely being held together. Management is flooded with incompetence, and most of their ground level talent and passion has been quitting (or laid off) in droves (look at the trend in glass door reviews over the last few years). On the other hand, I'm not sure how well 40k will translate into the tighter formations TW gameplay is based around. Moreover, the current iteration of TW's engine, despite stemming from an engine explicitly designed for projectiles, handles projectiles horribly.
So, you have a less capable team tasked with a major engine overhaul and a major gameplay/mechanical overhaul to fit loose skirmish style of combat rather than the series traditional rank and flank. Toss on modern CAs awful DLC and general release practices and it doesn't exactly instill confidence in a title like this.

All we need is a 800 hour long choose your own adventure/ legion/ alliance Horus Heresy third person shooter. Think about it, infinite replay ability because of all of the campaigns, and events, Plus experiencing the heresy from the point of a random marine in a random legion would be cool. Either that or Battlefront 40k

I know we have rogue trader. But I would really love a Warhammer Fantasy RPG game like Baldur's Gate 3. I love the setting of fantasy and I really enjoy the tabletop rpg's like WFRP 2e & 4e. So something along those lines would be a dream for me.
Honestly just give Owlcat Games the Enemy Within campaign and let them do their thing with it.
@@dropkickpiper3204 That would be awesome. Funnily enough I'm gonna be playing through that campaign soon with a few friends. Very excited, I'm playing an apprentice pyromancer. Hopefully I can make it out alive.
@@NotoriousTim I’m running it on Saturdays as well, and my group also has a pyromancer. Most of the party aren’t combat careers, so he often carries when they get into fights. Some of the spells in Winds of Magic are crazy powerful.
I want a Dark Tide style single player game as one of the guardsmen who survived in Dawn of War 1. Remember when there was just 2 guardsmen left, and Gabriel is all like, "You held this position on your own? For over a week???" And they're like, "But wait, there's more, let us show you where the Eldar have hidden their webway gates" and then you have to cheese the game by getting well ahead of them and pre-killing the Eldar to prevent them from instantly dying.
Edit: but with, like, Fire Warrior level graphics so I can actually play it lol...
souls like 40k game where you play as an inquisitor, specifically an inquisitor because the context of the game can be easily adapted to allow you to use all types of armors and weapons, although they aren't essentially of the inquisition faction and even if they are from xenos and heretic factions.
I would enjoy the Soul like game to be from the perspective of an eldar since they are the more melee and nimble race. Give my space elves some love GW! Also, a horror game would be nice with the protagonist uncovering a Slaneeshi cult on a paradise world.
I want a VR Spacehulk Game with full grapple and melee mechanics, preferably as Deathwatch so that we could play whatever chapter we want while keeping it lore friendly, a broad and diverse armory as the Deathwatch would have, and multiple Xenos factions to fight, preferably Orks, Eldar/Dark Eldar, and it just ain’t a Spacehulk game without Genestealers. Perhaps have them battling for control over an absolutely insanely huge Spacehulk, with the Orks trying to repurpose the hulk as a transport, and the Eldar perhaps searching for some sort of artifact aboard. Maybe there’s a chunk of a lost craftworld’s infinity circuit hidden somewhere in the hulk or whatever, and a detachment of the deathwatch gets sent in to investigate.
I’d love an outlast type game where you’re a plantary defence force soldier having to evacuate from a hive world trying to dodge both drukhari and Genestealer Cults overrunning the planet.
I can see some people disagree with me but a Farsight game would be pretty cool, I can see the gameplay where you Rip and Tear through Orks, Chaos Marines or whatever as Farsight

I want Old School WarhammerScape
Some notes on WH40k Total War. The developer, Creative Assembly, has been in a pretty rough spot recently even despite the success of TW Warhammer III. They got investors constantly breathing down their necks, have made some questionable community related decisions and their last release (Total War: Pharao) was considered a bit of a letdown. Not to mention the enormous ticking timebomb of technical debt they have accumulated over the years because they focused on pumping out releases rather than improving their engines and workflow and fixing issues. This has led to layoffs and from what little I know a restructuring in the company. Besides Warhammer, their other main focus is historical Total War games and their whole gamedesign and focus has been still fantasy/historical battles. Right now they got 2 main frameworks they can adapt and modify to make a new game. The historical one and the Warhammer one. Warhammer III has been over a decade in the making, iterating and developing on previous releases, slowly adding content and finetuning. They could maaaybe adapt that framework to a 40K setting but because they have been using it for so long it is bogged down with bugs, aforementioned technical debt and it's basically held together with prayers and duct tape. The historical one has pretty much has the same issues and stems from a similar period but has a stronger focus on historical battles so probably less suitable to be adapted into a 40k game.
TLDR: They're in a tough spot, they could probably pump out a 40k game within 2 years if that's what they are doing but it would be plagued with issues and from what little I know they might currently be looking at fixing their technical issues first before embarking on a 40k project which would be quite a ways outside of their usual patterns and workflows
(Also, take all this just how it is, a comment on the internet. I am no expert, I have just been researching the studio for a bit as someone trying to find a job in the games industry. This is part conjecture based on how this studio operates, and other part based on some articles I read/videos I saw. This is just how it seems to me)

I need Dawn of War to get a modern remaster, maybe bring in some of the mods that make it even better as modes. But just give me improved graphics and I am good.
And I agree with some of the comments in here with a Battlefront style Warhammer 40k game rated R, because it needs to have gore.
If Warner Bros didn’t patent the Nemesis system from Shadow of War, I would love to see a 40k take on it. Maybe play as a space marine going up against other chaos marines, or even an Inquisitor going after orks or demons.

While fairly niche, think it would be cool to have a story driven game where you mainly handle the logistical side of a guard campaign. Maybe some Men of War style battles as well.
words cant explain how badly I want a City Builder style game about being a Planetary governor and managing the daily lifes of people while trying to keep your planet from being exterminatused.
I want an Eldar game... whether it's a RPG, Darktide style horde shooter with aspect warriors, or even a jetbike racing game, I want to see my faction feature in a game that isn't just a side-note in yet another strategy game where space marines are the main focus. There's more to 40k than the Imperium, and it'd be nice to see the other factions feature in a game for once... we've had Orks, and we even had Tau once, but there's never - at least to my knowledge - been an Eldar focused game.
Since the mid 2010s I've been craving GW giving the 40k license to WB Games. All so they can have Monolith Productions and Avalanche Studios team up to make a game where you play a lowly Ork Boy building up into a Warboss using the nemesis and siege systems from Shadow of War and the vehicle customization/combat from Mad Max for the ultimate Waaagh simulator.
Speed Freaks has shown me the car combat is possible, they just need to expand on it.
Honestly, I would love if we could get another Dawn of War game, but like the OG Dawn of War 1 with base building. Just imagine it, especially with the current tech, graphics, and possibilities we have now compared to what they had years ago.

The new games have been good, but for me, none of them have brought me the sheer enjoyment the franchise reached with Dark Crusade on the PC 😊
Dark Crusade was ahead of its time.
I'd love some sort of Roguelike in 40K setting- the amount of enviroments, weapons, upgrades and enemies would be a-ma-zing.
It doesnt have to go for realistic graphics, it could feel more like Nuclear Throne and Shootaz Blood & Teef vibes, goofy yet demanding
I'd like them to make a game called "chaos space marine" where its an rpg based around your journey as a black legion marine where your decisions can increase "chaos points" based around all 4 of the gods and a fifth one for undivided and the more you get for any of these the more any of the gods will strengthen and corrupt your marinetill eventually you fill up one of these and get fully corrupted by that god
I personally always thought that a Warhammer Fantasy souls-borne would be a neat kind of game.
I can see that working you could be an imperial inquisitor stuck in a heretic ridden hive city their skillset would probably conplement the idea
@@devilsadvocate367 That sounds like a good game idea, but I was thinking more of a fantasy one, where you pick a race and go through getting stuff. (e.g daemon prince mode where you have to fight greater daemons to earn glory)
@chillin8416 oh so essentially playing as a deamon trying to gain power I guess that could be a way to explain respawning
@@devilsadvocate367 kind of, but you can also play as like a dwarf slayer trying to follow the oath, (also other races with different campaigns like wood elf or empire) i thought the main reason for respawning could be basically a changer of ways or kairos just messing wtih you
I don't know if this would work, but I would like one that lets you command a ship. Not like bfga or bfga2, but your a captain or something. (just a concept)
Or if total war 40k is happening, they could let the player create their own chapter. (I don't know if that would be pushing it)
I kinda want something with the guard or tau.
I loved Battlefield 1's trench warfare mission and the large multi-stage territory control multiplayer games it had, and if made a bit grittier then the Guard would fit that mold nicely. Arma 3 mods kinda did this.
For the Tau side of things, a remake of Firewarrior (an old 40k FPS) would be some arcade-y fun. Or a Kroot guerrilla warfare game during an ork campaign where the game mechanics could be similar to the Far Cry series but on a much smaller map (open world games are getting too large these days). Skill trees would be based on the lore bit that as kroot consume the flesh of a set species, they adapt the attributes of those species.
I want a fighting game like the tabletop Structure wise (Army vs Army with main and secondary Objectives), but-
You play individual units and can add players for wishing to play in the same squad.
And the stronger the character you play, the longer the respawn time. You played a Knight? 2 Minutes or you volunteer to play a Guardsman immediatly, or a marine in 10 seconds. Played a Guardsman? No respawn time.
Of course this could be more balanced, I'm not a game designer.
And you should be able to play dozens of different Things. Orks, Necrons, Tau, Eldar, different Marine chapters or sister ordersn Etc.
And to come back to the "me and my bros in one squad"... How about a Friendgroup of 5 comes in playing as 1 Unit, aka a tank or Titan?
And then imagine unlocking legendary characters. Like Vulkan: if you have 20 kills as a Salamander and then die, you have a chance to come back as the Son of Noctourne himself.
Or have legends in big scale battles, to support the weaker side, with an epic announcement.
Too many dark angels defeating the Khornites? *Angron joins the battle*
Your sisters of battle get curbstomped? *Saint celestine descends from the heavens*
Remember going as an assault with a bolter rifle instead of the pistol. Good times...
It'll never happen but imagine a battlefield warhammer game. 64 player battles running around and shooting lasguns and driving leman russ's and flying Valkyries? piloting sentinels and shooting basalisks??? are you kidding me? it wouldn't be too hard to make as the game would focus on guard, guard but bad and guard but with a third arm. I'm pretty confident that Fat Shark could make it despite having no experience with that sort of game, the reason I think this is because they can simply cop+paste assets from Darktide.
A couples issues would probs be designing the sheer amount of different weapons, but other than that and maybe the maps I'd say it'd be pretty easy goin and also real easy to monetize. after all everyone loves guard regiments.
Battlefield 40k with Imperial Guard and Tau. Large scale battles, plenty of vehicles, and tons of weapon variety.
I literally just want space marine 2, maybe a fps where you plays as a guardsman, Straight up a battlefield clone would be really cool. A a non strategy mechanicus game would be nice too.
I want a skaven assassin game similar to the styx game series, each mission has a different target from a differnt faction, could start off with a skaven warlord, then an orc warboss, a dwarf king, dreadlord, elector count and work your way up till the final target is something ridiculous like one of the cathayan dragon or a mortach of nagash
40k Survival Horror - Lone Guardsman on Tertium left to fight the Mobian 6th and the Plagues of Nurgle.
Y'know, a soulslike Warhammer game could be in the Realm of Chaos in the Old World or on some demon world in the Eye of Terror or the Maelstrom in the 40k universe. It makes perfect sense and you've got your excuse for all kinds of crazy deformed monsters and even the protagonist coming back to life repeatedly.
I want to see the guys who did Rogue Trader do a Fantasy rpg.
And a Dark Heresy rpg.
And a Black Crusade rpg.
Maybe even a Age of Sigmar rpg, even though AoS lore kinda sucks.
One of the reasons why I think AoS lore kinda sucks is because there aren’t any good games out for it. I personally didn’t like the End Times in Warhammer, but the perspective of the End Times presented in Vermintide made it REALLY COOL for me.
I want a space marine open world game rpg just like elder scrolls where you can choose all the legions or any other factions and continue their story in world of warhammer

I NEED WH40k game in style of Valkyria Chronicles. Maybe even as adaptation of one of the Gaunt's Ghosts.
the only thing i dont like about speed freeks is the free aim. Car combat needs to lock the gun to the front to make the "car" part of the game function better
I don't think total warhammer 40k is happening because it'd be really hard to port modernized combat onto a total war model. You can't just port gun units to become missile units, or tanks into monstrous units. You'd need cover systems, and breakable terrain (buildings), and dynamic squad movements to make it feel more like a modern tactical game, and not just total warhammer with a skin on. On top of the scope of 40k (how do you make planetary travel and galactic travel work in tandem to make the worlds interesting, and not just a collection of maps to fight on?), it seems implausible. Imo they'd basically have to make the Men of War; Assault Squad 2 40k overhaul mod into a full game with total war-esque campaign mechanics for it to feel right, and that's a huge ask

We need a soulsborne game, where you play as a Lucifer black fighting all sorts of baddies.
I'm waiting for Space Marine 2 but I'm still cautious because I'm not so slowly becoming paranoid in regards to companies not respecting the fans and the lore
Im waiting Space Marine 2 and Speed Freaks,but those have to wait,because i got Ghost of Tsushima and few other games are waiting arrivial of my new PC.
Ghosts of Tsushima looks good! I’m dedicating a whole weekend to no lifing Elden Ring Shadows of the Erdtree when it drops.
A Turok like game based on Katachan, or a horror game of guardsmen surviving the attack of drukari shadows or necron slayers or chaos minions
I want a DoW successor with a GrandCampaign and an FPS shooter that just goes bonkers (Many enemies, TITANS, but not a horde shooter)
IMO a rts like Steel Division/Warno but 40k would be great. Just imagine Titans walkng on those giant maps 🔥🔥

I doubt creative assembly will ever make a WH 40k rts as they haven't even made a WW2 type of combat warfare game. Their games aren't designed for modern or sci-fi warfare type combat, they would need to drastically change the style of gameplay compared to their historical inspired titles.
Imagine a game like Street Fighter or Tekken.......but with Primarchs. I'd love to see that.
I want to play a game like Cyberpunk 2077 set in Warhammer, why can't I get that?
First, Hive City builder, then a Fantasy game tjhat's story-focussed where you play as a Chaos Warband leader marching through Norsca, a fps from the point of view of a Guardsman fighting heretics, and possibly a game where you play as either an orc or an work doing all sorts of wacky shit. All these games could possibly work if they had the right game
Just give me Arkham style game on Konrad's origin story. Make it Arkham City but with MK style Fatalities. Let us play as Crazy Space Batman.
the only think i APSOLUTLY need for the TWWH 40K is the multiple planets fighting and a kind of space battle
i need battlefleets to fight for supremacy over the system space and to have the uper hands over a planet to get my fleets of troupes down to the grounds. and then have to fight on the continent of this planet (like 10 to 20 city on all very large planets with 3 to 7 on smaller ones)
THIS would be a HUGE game
if it is just armys fighting over 1 planet or over 3 planets but with magical movement from on to the other ... i fear it would not be as intresting at all
I think given CA's recent actions and game releases its hard to believe they will do good by TWWH40K

Ok as someone whos played all most all Warhammer games under the sun heres my opinion...
Dark millennium is a painfully missed opportunity, i understand that today live service games have been done to the dirt, but a MMO 40k game in a similar vain to say ESO or Neverwinter is something i would haved loved to see, i can just engine the guild wars between the players of different factions players, something DM looks like it was going to emphasize... Fortunately it looks like some of the people behind Neverwinter are working on a 40k game, but time will tell if this is what fans want, or another mmo cash grab
A second thing i want to see is a dawn of war remastered, or a REAL time strategy game in general, as a fan of halo wars dawn of war sticks out to me as a master piece of a RTS game, and i never quite understood why relic thought it was a good idea to change the formula for the sequel.....but im going off track...a new dawn of war based game with mechanics inspired from the first game would be fantastic...
Third, a game that i have been longing for is a battlefront style game... technically this existed in the form of eternal crusade, and, had it promised to be that and not a spiritual successer to dark millennium i think the game would have performed much better overall...but that broken promise killed the game...
Lastly, and this ones more unique to may taste is a shadow of war style game, imagine playing as a fallen guardsmen who gets cursed to be a perpetual as the spirit say Malcador guilds you as a ork warband is slowly taking over the planet...
It fells ironic how similar a game like that would be to shadow of war...but i think its a good concept all the same

What i realy want is a New Dawn of war maybe have the races have diffent seletable factions have their own specail units for skrimish mode campain needs to be better then what we got for 3.
I don't think a total war 40k makes sense for total war just completely based off of how the other versions of the games are, there was never really ever a modern combat version of total war. The nearest thing to a modern combat total war game is napoleon. So in general I don't think total war will be the ones to make an RTS for 40k
Honestly i’d take anything with next gen graphics that have the T’au in, hell i’d take a dating sim just to see the blue boys with fancy new models
I want a game where to be a human psyker and to see, meet and fight all that human psykers have to face and fight where humans just can't fight and comprehand to weirdveins and all imperial psykers beside librarians are just forgoten in almost all discusions about the imperial guard to i know psykers are rare but they are this rare after the opening of the Great Rift and look how popular are in Darktide.
