I have to say God bless this man and I would certainly like to be involved some how..Im a retired lady driver and i have partial left hand amputation but i made it through. I still want to be out there! One time I was at a Pilot TS in Lodi, CA waiting to pay for my coffee. A lady standing next to me asked if i was a driver, and I said yes. She told me her husband was a driver for 20 years so she understood what we go thru out there and then asked if she could give me a hug!!! I said yes of course and she was great hugger too. Made me cry as I am now writing this. She said "I just want you to know some of us down here APPRECIATE YOU and I want to thank you for what you do. I appreciated her too as she made me feel quite proud. There are still some people out there who care. We need better education and training and less division in this nation. Too much automation (like elogs and GPS) removes the human factor and creates more division, plus adds to the pressure and stress. When was the last time anybody looked at a Trucker's Atlas? Im one of those people who love & support all truck drivers.. its rough & dangerous out there. They deserve higher pay & respect.. they ship goods to store’s & businesses that we all need too.
That nurse should lose her license. Unprofessional.

Should she lose her license? No. What she did has nothing to do with her medical expertise.

People treat truck drivers like garbage? How about truck drivers treat truck drivers like garbage. We have no respect for each other out here anymore. You can talk about foreigners ruining the industry but that’s just part of it. It’s every one. You can’t pass another truck like a normal trucker anymore without the slow trucker getting mad. The reality is that. Why don’t you talk about that. How do we want respect from the public if we don’t respect ourselves
in my early days I got stuck in a hairy situation and learned not all cops are bad long story short learn if you didn't hit anything and call police help you get out you will not get a ticket. Now if you broke a few laws or whatever like passing a sign says no trucks that's different but I assure you its better then hitting a car or a powerline and cheaper. just call them the officer will stop traffic and make it where you have as much room he can provide to get out and you go on your way.
the biggest problem we're facing out here is no corporations coz too many rookies and culture .

If you have a dash cam and someone break checks you, even if you break, make an impact. Its mostly their fault. Too many spiled brats out there think they can just disrespect anyone woth no consequences.
That’s the worse advise I ever heard. Where did you get that it’s mostly their fault?? By law you need to keep a safe distance, so there is a big chance it’ll still be truck driver fault

Dang...some nurse not too bright, you break check an 80k lbs truck in your 2 door honda girl bye then throw a brick...lucky it was a Man in the cab...when they see a woman driver get out on your azz and wants all smoke..they get a change of attitude immediately...dude running into 10 cars has well needed permanent vacation goofy self smh.
The real lesson for us drivers from that "nurse" situation is don't antongonze people... I really hate that's not being expressed by anyone.
I'm going call the driver out for the whole "do something" comment. Professional drivers should de-escalate, not instigate.

I lost my lower left leg 20 years ago. I drove a semi before and after I lost it . That skills performance test every two years is a joke, l agree it should be changed. I own a tractor with a 13 speed transmission and l refuse to drive an automatic
