Question of the day? Do you have cameras in your truck?
Yes, I put my own outward facing only.
How do we know the "privacy/fillter/AI" is pre uploaded and not post uploaded, and then giving the "false" selective narrative of just to make you fill good about it and sure it not live feed for privacy but it can still be seen at the end of the video when they want and or need to show more the "privacy/filtter/AI" it can be done i believe on demand so i think it reinforce my claim of selective privacy for just the fell good narrative and i guess prove to me the contrary then 😶🌫️
Just crack the lens...
My company has one, I have my own. Both forward facing only
Yes, multiple ones.
They need cameras on top of every computer monitor watching all their Driver Managers, too.
and vet their trainers. managers and dispatch are crooked too!
They need a camera on the people monitoring the drivers 😂
Factz
💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽
I just got one in my truck. I yawned twice and the AI told me i was drowsy and pull over and go to sleep. So i went back to bed. Then my dm asked me why i wasn't moving.
I yawn a lot. Haven't triggered any response. However, got my 1st verbal alert when a car pulled out in front of me and didn't accelerate. Have not heard from HR about it
😂😂😂😂
I wear a head mask so I won't get sunburned & AI can't see my facial expressions. Plus with tons of ppl going on autism spectrum they'll throw the AI off a lot in the future & it won't know when you're yawning or just ASD.
@@rkdbajHow does autism look like a yawn?
Lol
Stand your ground, drivers are the heart of all trucking companies,, No Drivers,, No Trucking Company.....
Who needs human drivers when you have autonomous vehicles and robots that mirror humans It’s the age of the machines “Terminator Judgment Day “
Stand your ground Drivers. No Facing Cameras.
No one stands together.. we’re toast…
@@MrGogether3000that's the problem too many drivers bow down to them. It baffles me

What company do you recommend for new truckers?
@@INGEN_Dahnie-el-aha-hawhatever area your in, when you see day cabs driving by, start writing down the company names off the trucks. Call them and see if you can set up an interview. When you go, it will give you a chance to check out their trucks, to see if they are well maintained, their yard and possibly other drivers. It will kinda give you a feel for what kind of company they are. If you do end up going with a mega, then just keep your record clean till you find something better
Yeah, rob lowe said there is No way he would put cameras in trucks. Then a female stood up and volunteered to put a camera in her truck
Honestly these mega carriers want all these drivers to quit.. its more profitable for them hiring the newcomers!
True
Yep .and the newbies dont even speak english..ha..what a joke..
@@jackwilson4722 I can confirm that . I'm going through orientation here right now and multiple people couldn't read the damn menu to get food!
Lawsuit option here. Can government put camera in home for surveillance at home? Unconstitutional. Can government put camera in vehicle? No. Can business violate your constitutional rights that the government is forbidden to? Do they have more power than the government? Where is that written?
Corporations can violate those rights because the constitution only protects you from the government. When the government uses Corporations to violate your rights that is fascism. Like when Biden wanted to mandate the jab but couldn't and a ton of companies started requiring it's employees to get the jab.
Prime, Inc. is not the government.
Exactly my point thank you. That’s what needs to be shown and declared by the courts so businesses cannot suppress our constitutional rights. They cannot be allowed to violate our rights anymore than the politicians.
As @ChrisL-oz4lp stated it is not government. It is a private company. They are not violating your constitutional rights because you can always quit. You are not forced to work for them. As a private company they can mandate many things that government can't/won't. Government is precluded from infringing on your rights because many times you have no recourse.
@@stevek4449bro you aren't compelled to work there. It's not like you're a slave to them. Quit or follow there rules you aren't a slave
If you believe what the company claims. Test it. Have a beer in the sleeper berth while doing your reset and see what happens? 🤣🤣
That’d be a lawsuit waiting for misuse of camera, invasion of privacy, & spying

Absolutely a damn lie . The camera is to hopefully make the drive liable if there’s an accident 🤬🤬
Swift tried inside cams......didn't end well for them lol
My truck doesn’t have one
Yea cause they were losing drivers very bad that’s why they have to rethink.
megas dont pay enough to warrant this bs
The problem with cameras is the INWARD facing ones, having worked for a fleet with inward facing cameras I can attest to the fact that they DO WATCH YOU WHEN YOUR SLEEPING!
That's crazy....But they can't see back there when the curtains are closed, can they?
These AI cameras are going to ruin truck driving. It's getting really bad fast.
This AI everything is ruining trucking AI camera AI electronic logs everything is tracked and monitored everything little thing we can do is held against us now everything God forbid you go over your drive time or hit a bump set the camera off and don't go your seat belt it's the beast system man they claim safety yet let mfers drive who can't speak a lick of English trucking is fucked
Save up get own truck
@@Austin.8150they made folks get an eld if they own the truck. You think all insurance companies wont eventually require this? It may take time but thats coming.
It's already ruined
@@Austin.8150you have to have your own Authority as well. Some of the O/O companies require AI cameras.
It's time to tell Prime take a hike
Looks like I’m out. I cannot work for a company that has so little trust in me to do my job professionally and safely, that they feel like they have to have a camera on me 24/7. Thanks for the experience, Prime, but I refuse to submit to that kind of abuse.
It’s not that bad
It's actually there to protect you, and the company!
@@homesteadhomie7855 I had one with Smithfield private fleet. I told them periodically I’m going to pee in a bottle. They thought I was joking, but I did cover up with a jacket. I just always hated the call from the safety guy that never drove a truck in his life to tell you you had to drive.
@@homesteadhomie7855 yeah save that bs for someone who buys it safest? Yet they hire people who can't speak English or read road signs it always comes up as for our safety but usually the opposite this is what's happens when we let big businesses and big government gov control and worst of all is when we got ass kisses like you who feed into their cause assholes
Bullshit to both of those comments!
It's a purely point based harassment tool. If you are dumb enough to accept working under those conditions, you need to get out of trucking!
yuppp
My company has cameras that work how described here. Never had one issue from safety in 1 1/2 years. Stay off your phone and do what you need to be doing and you should not have an issue. Cameras, stupid lane and front annoying beeping and junk automatic transmissions are here to stay. Unless you have your own truck you had better get use to it. The camera doesn’t actually bother me a bit.
@@F150customs and it’s people with that mentality that roll over and go with exactly what the company wants is why company drivers regularly get screwed over. Once you get your year or two experience in, you should refuse to work for companies like this so they go under and good ones that actually care about you can get the contracts and flourish. You’re only supporting your and every other truckers demise by being a company crony.
@cotjocky466 drivers like this is why we will never get the respect that we deserve. Why do some of them bow down to the big corporations. It's so f****** stupid
@@cotjocky466that is exactly right .
Those MFkr have no dignity , no pride !!
Well I was told ours didn’t have audio! My dispatcher brought me in to show me my safety score because I’m a trainer. He was clicking through videos to get to mine and a guy had his radio up loud and it startled him because he had his headset on!!😂😂
I said , y’all are some liars. They do record audio!🤣🤣
He then said , I didn’t tell you that lie. Safety did.. I couldn’t do nothing but SMH!
Thankful i was a prime driver in the outlaw days 🤣
Don’t be to quick to accept these inside cameras, drivers should be angry about inside cameras, prime should just keep inside cameras for accidents but to be calling drivers for every single incident cuz of a stop a lane change a brake na that ain’t gona work, these drivers is grown and got a lot on there minds, this will definitely hurt the company cuz drivers are gona quit and this is the worst year.
The cameras records when an event has taken place and triggered them to record.
The recorded event is sent to the safety department for review.
If the safety department deems the event as dangerous from the driver's actions, then a review process is setup with your fleet manager or safety department.
I had a review of an event which I took corrective action to prevent a collision from a lane change by a "PRIME DRIVER" who didn't check the mirrors before changing lanes.
The camera records everything good or bad driving habits, my carrier recognized me for the good.
You want "privacy" while taking a break? Get an extra "HAT" to cover the entire camera while taking a 10 hour break.
My carrier "TOLD US TO DO THAT" if we felt our privacy was being invaded.
2 way cameras are here to stay get use to it.
It's only a matter of time before all carriers will have them.
@@ljreed8671it is going to backfire on them

@@stevenschiff4815 hell yes
P&s sucks too they have those front face cameras and won't even allow front curtain's only dome
I quite Prime last month as soon as. My lease was up 😂😂😂
I'm all about dash cam outward facing not a fan of inwards facing
I work for a company that has outward facing cameras in the truck and I have gotten dinged for what they classify as smart drive events. My driver leader emailed me an event yesterday that recorded me over the weekend not stopping at a stop sign. In the video it showed that my speedometer was at like 3 miles when i stopped and i shoulda been at 0. Not a big deal to me but to the safety department, that is a big deal because it was a rolling stop and in their eyes a passenger vehicle or another truck coulda collided with me
The only inward facing cam I'm ok with is one that has 0 internet connection and a removable memory card. If the interior is needed, give me a time frame and i can pull that video for you. No way in duck will the interior be live uploaded.
Last company i drive for had forward cameras installed while i was there, through Verizon iirc, and the system was so touchy it would ding for hard acceleration as you were cresting a hill and gained 1mph. The event logger was a complete joke, but it did catch a truck towing a boat pass a co-worker on a two lane over double yellow and hit the left side when he came back to avoid incoming. Broke the bead on the steer, tore up the hood, and i think caused the rim to be trash. Took 3 months to get the rig back in service because of the scam called insurance fought paying out
Companies always say it's to protect the driver when in fact it's to shaft the driver and protect the company. I work PT now OTR and my company has outward facing cameras. They send me crap over the tablet about what to do in situations like not completely stopping for stop signs, I'm guilty of that😂. I simply reply with, " I can quit and not drive for you.". Well they don't like that and the barrage of crap stops. Prime is company for beginners and the cameras are to protect the company. This goes for all companies. **NOTE**- notice what IS BLURRED in the truck? You guessed correctly.....NOTHING!
Yep you scratched your nose before accident. Driver error, whatever to screw driver.
Paper transport? I've seen inward cameras in those
Prime drivers shouldn all ban together and unionize. Screw these cameras.
Hopefully the drivers have the BALLS TO HOLD THE LINE!!!!
I’d be worried more about the creepers always filming others from their trucks…
Lol for real mannnnn
See my pp all they want
Everybody is HIRED TO BE FIRED.
I’m a retired Truck Driver after 26 years OTR. I would quit any truck driving job that installed inward facing cameras.
It is a weapon, just watch
it is.
The government used to "claim" they were for privacy as well.
Homeland Security Patriot Act baby, gotta love it /s
They were just kidding!
It's messed up for the guys that are halfway through a lease purchase.
So the camera facing out proves that the van was responsible. The side facing camera proves he couldn’t swerve right or would have hit the motorcycle. Case closed. The forward facing camera had nothing to do with proof?
Privacy does not exist when a camera is present
Drivers don't care about what prime says !!!! It's about the Drivers peace of mind out there on the road !!!! F prime !!!!
They should quit, give tbem a wake up call, it will spread to other companies not to mess with drivers. Wake up or get stepped down on.
Ok, then since every government worker works the tax payers they will now all have the same stuff installed all government vehicles. Any taxpayer/government car will have them then. Kapeesh?
I own my truck at Prime I’m just leased on to Prime and they even want us to put cameras in our truck . I was looking to buy more trucks from the dealer but this will make it harder to recruit drivers . Blurring the background is just a feature that can be over ridden . A lot of lies about what’s the come .
Remember when DD said that it was not a camera, it's A.I. SMH, as if people are that ignorant to not see through that...
Can someone share what a good company to start a lease purchase program?
So if you stay there your own drugs
@@USAFreedom-MAGA It's not any companies, save your money buy your own truck and authority.
The day I have inward camera is the day I quit, no if ands or buts I'm glad I left prime years ago
You can always put a piece of electrical tape over the inward camera lense.
Or a little bit of oil. It’ll smear the lens.
Yeah I did that when the company I work for first got the inward camera, but they then made it against company policy to cover it. Automatic termination if you do
@@troyspivey1260did the same thing at the company I used to work for too. I even put my gps in front of it to obstruct the view. It didn’t take long before getting a message from dispatch to give them a call. I was routed in and had a sit down with him and the safety manager. I left not long after that.
They call that tampering with equipment a company I drove for one of the drivers put a piece of duct tape over the bumper sensor to stop the truck from beeping all day the truck went in for the PM the mechanic reported it and he was outta there altering in tampering with equipment cost him his 80k job
Please remove obstruction from the lens. 😂😂😂
Quitting as soon as I find something thats not otr
look into local/shuttle or concrete mixer or trash trucks, pays ok and home daily! I did that till i got burnt out
Found something regional around the area hauling end dumps. Home every weekend. I put my app in today and according to driver pulse they are already getting the process started.
Legally they have to get permission from every single driver for inward facing cameras or for companies that already have them they have to get the new driver to sign (giving permission) or provide a cover for the camera (Legally) but we all know that doesn't happen
They do not care about losing all the drivers. They now know whos complicit and will hire only the same. People who believe they dont deserve Privacy , respect or deserve to be paid their worth.
A JB hunt friend of mine,is always getting pulled into the office, cause the camera is always catching him playing with his radio or getting a cigarette, the camera is too sensitive 🤣😁😄
🤣😂
Damn right you can get held accountable for anything now
Had a friend that worked for jb. He kept getting pulled into "safety" due to his camera picking up overhead signs on the highway and sending a collision warning to to them.
He told them about it the first time it happened. He almost lost his job over it before he had enough and told them to pound sand.
As for inward facing cameras....
Got another friend that drives for a company that has them. He cant even pick up his mug of coffee, drink, a snack, NOTHING without the camera starting to record. It comes on for EVERYTHING.
Nope...
I WILL NOT get in ANY truck with a camera pointing at me.
F' that!
Mine always says that I'm drowsy. 😂😂😂😂
I'm so very happy I retired after 45yrs, and even happier that i did it on my own terms,
And definitely quit trucking before hating it, or ruining my love for it!
Been trucking for 20 plus years. I hate what it's become. I have no moving violations, yet I can't be trusted?!!! So glad that I will retire soon. Trucking can eat it!!
Glad to see the wife taking over muthatrucka news
They are lying about what that camera can do
That's the whole point. People that won't go by their rule will leave. That's what's they want. They want people that will obey and follow the future. Basic human robots. Plain & simple its a method of weeding out the ones that are defiant from the ones that will abide.
Bingo !
If one believes that those cameras are not in operation call the driver is in The Sleeper Berth, then put a sticky note over the camera when the key is off and the alarms will sound on many of the inward facing cameras
I gotta be sneaky now. I'll use my phone mounted on the dash and use voice action
I just drive at night during the inspection, oh, excuse me, cash cow. As for the inward facing cameras, I will NOT work for a company that has to babysit a grown man with a nannycam!
Haha!
Prime, Inc. is probably one of the many huge truck companies that invest in driverless trucks behind closed doors. A lot of them are. We, as truck drivers, have until mid-2030s to rack as much money and pivot to something else.
Nothing is blurred in the netradyne video from their website. Bunk and everything is visible.
A forward facing camera showed exactly who was at fault for that accident. The rest was added by someone trying to justify the micromanaging tool that will be added soon.
Co worker of mine thats an independant driver had a 70+ year old woman.. suspended license.. history of causing accidents, she pulled out in front of his dump truck in MN near hastings.. it was luckily caught on mndot cameras, and rhe trooper gave him a copy of the footage.... she pulled out in front of him like he wasnt there, he was empty just driving back home, 2 year old western went right in the ditch, it was either put it in the ditch or kill her.. she had insurance cause she was a veteran but was only carrying a 100k policy.. thats not going to cover everything. Its fucked up.
A rider on her policy should have included an uninsured and underinsured policy with a least a million dollar policy .
I am very simple man, I am working for prime and they add camera and I didn’t like it so I move on with another company and have appointment next Monday , simple is that bc I am lease not company and I sign that to be free not hostage
Trucking companies bait and switch some of older drivers with refrigerators, inverters, microwave nice terminals with all amenities.. because older drivers NEVER had this .. Then you must face with inward facing cameras or lose your job.
All those nice amenities mean nothing if I feel like I’m in a “virtual jail cell” the whole time I’m working.
I work for a local northwest Georgia company.
They now have five cameras looking outside, 360 degrees around the truck.
We also have a driver camera, on the inside, WITH an always hot microphone!
AND, if you're dumb enuff to run your phone through the bluetooth stereo, they can now listen to BOTH SIDES of your conversation!!!
Be very careful what you say, and who you say it to -=- You could be fired and sued!!!
I don't mind the outside cameras. I actually like them, and have dash cams in my private autos.
I just can't go much longer with this inside stuff, especially when they can look at you and listen to your conversations at the same time.
I'm within a couple years of retirement. I'm working on putting together a small truck company to run during my retirement years. Putting a couple different irons in the fire. Me an all this new tech stuff ain't getting along too well.
Too damn old, too damn old skool!!!
The only problem I’ve had with this camera is that it picks up on talking on the phone as a yawn
The ones saying like it or leave are the ones who should have been fired.
Random question wouldn’t it be better if they ask the drivers to equip their own cameras bring it in for inspection ensuring it covers all visual perspective needed to be compliant and have drivers sign an agreement for footage to be released in case of an incident over to safety???
to what dregree do you agree with that ? You know before some laws were passsed way back then employers use to be able to do almost anything to employees. Im just saying becareful what you wish for and what freedoms you give up. It always starts with just one inch then you will give up a yard before you know it. Dont be a sheep and dont let them scare you
😒 for any guys that are going to try working like that I suggest you run your own video cameras to collaborate your story if things go sideways, also cover up the camera whenever your not driving, and don't believe them when they tell you that the video camera is not ON and that the camera is blurred, dont believe anything they tell you, you need to assume that the camera is always filming 24/7, dont be stupid, trust nobody, and expect to get fired for something dumb and minor just because of the way they interpret the recordings, its ur word against theirs
All of this for a job that doesnt even pay minimum wage with overtime
Cameras will be used in any way that works in favor of the company
Glad i left months ago...
I just wonder what happens when a driver backs at a truck stop or shipper/receiver? Most drivers remove seat belt when backing into a spot.
I’m one of the first ones to do it when backing up. Just so I have full range of motion while I’m sticking my head out the window.
If they want their drivers to be comfortable don't put driver facing cameras in the trucks you can say what you want all driver facing cameras do is justify the company terminating you I would tell these drivers to look for another job the drivers can find another job prime is a mega carrier you make more money working for a small company without all this BS
It's all about compensation. If they don't want to compensate you for this camera then don't work for them.
And what about companies telling you to sign a photo release for
Indemnifying them from any liability for using your likeness and image , for whatever purpose they see fit and have agree that you can not be compensated for your video/,audio footage even if they will be compensated 😮 and make you agree not sue for invasion of privacy, sounds a little fishy to me
Coming from former 3 mega carriers and now union hourly port driver, paying drivers hourly pay instead of pay by the mile is probably one of the safest thing a company can do. Will they do that? Probably not. If you have more than 1 year experience, leave the mega carriers and join a private company, smaller company, or union company that doesn't train drivers or accept no experience drivers. The reason being is they will put up with you more; they don't have a influx of new and desperate CDL grad looking for jobs. Also in the video, an outward facing camera is good enough to prove the truck driver is not a fault.
Economy suck they probably want some to leave
easier for ppl to quit than to abandon loads/trucks or pay unemployment. you've got a point!
That was my theory too. They cut 450 trucks already, they are saying there is no freight available on weekends so drivers end up sitting, and now the cameras. It seems like it’s all by design to get drivers to quit. Well it worked for me because I’m actively seeking other employment.
I interviewed prime today and decided that wasn’t a company I would work for. They need us , not the other way around! When you suckers learn that you will be better off.
I had these type of cameras when I was at RUAN. They’re always recording and make sure to put a towel over it when you go to bed.
By the way as a owner of the company I’ll say you can watch and record live time of the video so whatever they said they can’t, they’re lying! So be careful
#6 is very evasive. You get a warning for scathing your head, picking your nose etc. That’s too much!
We have a right to touch our own bodies! Just like I mentioned a few lines up, working will feel like being in a “virtual prison cell” with all these rules that restrict movement without getting in trouble.
The privacy you’re talking about is completely subjective to the company’s discretion.
The cameras live feed
The cameras can be remotely turned on (inward facing)
If you have an incident, they can watch a few hours of video to see what happened if they don’t have the exact time because the camera wasn’t “triggered”
Yeah they spin all the positives that they can to make the drivers more comfortable with their ability to watch you all the time 24 7 and they claim that they don’t watch you 24 7 but the fact is that the camera installed in these trucks is recording and streaming 360 degrees (the camera eye 360 that I have in my truck) and they can have access to all of the video all of the time
It’s literally 24/7 video surveillance of the truck
I was with Prime for about 3 years, 5 if you count my Ace Lease, which I took to another carrier. In my experience, Prime does NOT lie! If they're going to mess you over, they tell you! If you don't comprehend, that's on YOU! As for me, I completed my Ace Lease, got my title and my own Authority, and I'm out! I appreciate Prime and highly recommend them to new drivers! But, I'm glad to be out. Peace and love to all!
This is a company policy, not a DOT requirement or insurance requirement as I understand it. The question now is, to lease operators does the contract clearly state that you are not a company driver? If it does state in black and white letter that you are not a company driver, that is considered a breach of contract. They are enforcing a company policy.
But if you’re under their insurance then you have to follow their insurance policies , or see if Prime lets you get your own insurance and run under their authority.
@nohi The key word is not an insurance policy; it is the choice to implement camared. Now, if they have two options one that will cost higher for not having it and you get a choice - that's a different story. This is more for a lease-purchase operator. I do believe they have a case for a lawsuit and a high chance of winning.
I think the best option is to go to another carrier without inward facing cameras or get your own authority. It will be hard to beat Prime in court.
@ni I agree. Based on my understanding, lease "purchase" operators are unable to take their trucks elsewhere. It will be a challenge, but the odds are high. Why? Here are the factors:
- The owner clearly stated in a video that it is a company policy, not an insurance policy.
- The company policy
- Was it disclosed in writing that cameras would be implemented in the future?
- Would individuals invest money, time, and effort if they were aware of this upcoming implementation? (Clearly not if they are suing)
This applies more to current lease purchase operators. They can seek reimbursement for the down payment, truck payment, insurance, etc. for breach of contract and used that money to go somewhere else or get their own authority. Just my two cents.
@@f.j.c4444they can move their trucks under a lease purchase after an allotted time period. A few drivers here took their trucks to Landstar while under a lease purchase. The standard lease drivers here are stuck with prime since they are just renting a job.
Somehow it was recording before the accident in that case where he had vehicle pushed in front of him. It’s a bs. Of course they will record the entire time.
Being recorded is never Private lmao😂. all outward cameras can end up protecting and saving the driver but not inward facing cameras. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve sat in the drivers seat naked cause I was on my 34 and wanted a smoke, which is why I refuse to work for a company with driver facing cameras. Not to mention if it’s been recorded it can be Unblurred by a hacker.
7:47 is it me or is the bunk not blurred? How they going to say that only driver will be viable and then show a video where EVERYTHING IS VISABLE. 🤦🏻♂️
Yes! We want to see your better half interjecting into your vlogs too! She’s lively and sweet!
Bcuz the drivers gotta tell these companies NO cameras.
That email was not sent to all the drivers!

@MuthaTrucker, so after doing some checking, that was not an email. It was a post in our news feed on our Prime app
Swift put driver facing cameras yrs ago and they lost a bunch of drivers. Swift took them out and just have forward facing now. Show Prime who's boss, they're nothing without the drivers!!! Facts.
Not one scale open in Oregon today, I went all of interstate 5 California to Washington and back. Not even one road inspection.. kinda weird
Did you hear the X-Files music ?
Did you notice no blurred out video of the interior. The lawyers / insurance people get to watch the video 100’s of times to analyze it. The truck driver has a split decision to make his move, if at all possible. This video system is not for insurance rates, safety for delivery loads, or looking out for the driver….. it’s all a way to shift blame to someone else. The van / truck is at full responsibility for hitting the car and pushing into the oncoming lane. Once the truck / van hit the car from the rear the video should have never been about the truck driver. On the other hand the inward facing camera video should’ve only been shown, no driver mistake, phone, Qualcomm, etc. Play the interior video first then ask what the driver did wrong. Then play the exterior video and stop trying to shift the blame to the trucker.
if the policy wasn't in place when they started then the drivers have every right to complain
Stand your ground don’t allow them to do that to ya’ll. There is more company’s out there you can always find a job it’s about morals.
Inward facing camera had NOTHING/ZERO to contribute to the accident video in this video. Outward facing is ALL that was needed to show/prove who was at fault. I don't care if the driver was playing Nintendo while driving he wouldn't have been at fault from what the outward facing camera showed. Absolutely NO additional benefit is derived from inward facing camera except for MICRO managing. Insurance company's are an ARM of gov't so all this basically mandating by the Ins. co. is actually the government mandating it's CONTROL over people/truckdrivers through the Ins. co's. Nothing more, nothing less.
Every single last one of them should quit
If Prime Inc let's any lease operator out of there contracts (effectively the driver is leaving) without any penalty's then I think it is a fair deal. But if Prime Inc charges the lease driver for anything then I think that will be unfair. The driver did not sign a lease agreement stating that there will be cameras in there trucks.
paying for a truck owned by prime and buying the tires prime requires and having a camera in your face for a truck your paying for that you will never own 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is what it looks like when you sell your truck and your soul
Then they leak your accident dash cam and your all over youtube
Not privacy while driving. That's what the drivers are pissed about
Absolutely Bullcrap! Inward cameras can and will be used to “drop in” anytime the company pleases. As a previous safety director for Knight we did it all the time. Prime will do the same
All technology is good they use against the driver.
I work for a company that installed cameras in the trucks and as much as I hated them and a lot of people quit they did save the drivers on many occasions from tickets and lawsuits
Lol, you really think it records blurred?!
So I can't drive and pick my nose is peace
😒 wow, i can't imagine driving like that, basically this is exactly like being in a bad relationship, your always going to be walking on eggshells, I can see this for a bus or train where your are working in a car full of people but not in a solo situation, that takes away the privacy and heart and soul of truck driving, you think the other profession would be ok with this too? Train Engineers and Conductors? Airplane and Helicopter Pilots? Captain and Crew on Ships? this is a big red flag and a big no no, No Bueno
