    After looking closely at this video……After being struck by the pickup ,she sure enough was turning that steering wheel to the right…..But it wasn’t bringing her back to the right……Which means that a tie rod snapped or somethin else which left her with no ability to steer the truck at all after being struck……Im glad she made it out alive…..

      I've noticed a lot of these "professional" drivers aren't the greatest at driving. Having a certification in something doesn't mean you're competent.

    • @koolerstream921
      @koolerstream921 14 дней назад +1

      @@John_Buck While you are not at all wrong, there are far too many terrible drivers who hold CDLs, I would wager a decent amount of money on 4 wheelers having the higher percentage of bad drivers. In my day to day commute, if I see a dozen terrible truck drivers, I'd also see 200 terrible 4 wheelers driving. Doesn't excuse those professional drivers who are not so professional, but they aren't the biggest root of the problem in my opinion.

    As much as I hate inward cams, this one saved this women’s livelihood. This can happen to anyone. Stay safe. Now I’m considering getting a inward cam because yeah a outward can prove you aren’t at fault but when there is a inward and something happens and you aren’t on your phone and you are actually focused on the road that pretty much cements that you are definitely not at fault. It’s sad so many truck drivers like to automatically assume someone is at fault or they don’t know how to drive. Like I said this can happen to anyone!!!

      I had a coal bucket cross the center line one time,he took my mirror out knocked my driver side mirror clean off,it had metal mounting brackets.and he left a gash down the whole side of my aluminum coal dump trailer,and I kept my truck on the road..
      But ima alpha male,and I didn't drive for bout a good week and a half.. I was mad,kept see that truck coming at me when I closed my eyes,all the shit u see on a movie...it was my real life that day..
      But that was over 15yrs ago,and I got back in my truck,and I conquered my demonz by God and I hammered down and fought my demons when they popped up however I had to,no drugz.
      Sometimes I had to pull over...
      Then I would call myself a bitch and be like,yea right,and get my azz back in it/hammer down again..
      Eventually I won over my demons because I refused to give them power,I loved truckn to much back then..

They always have something negative to say about something they don't know, but when it comes to standing up for the betterment of this industry or doing something about being under paid and long hrs. of not being compensated for there time and over regulated, they don't have nothing to say. We should be thankful that it was not worse.

    Only give your statement and dashcam footage to your insurance company and let them reply to those who need to know.

    Rather than company dash cams I still prefer a personal Go Pro in a holder on the dash. Interactions with enforcement etc you can strap it to your head to cover your a$$ without escalating the situation with "sudden hand movements" or triggering a reaction pointing a phone cam instead. The more industrious could even fabricate an ICC bumper mount for the blind side of the trailer backing with a monitor screen in the cab?
    I still don't like giving any company the power to use a dash cam at their discretion to suit their interests. Driver facing? Not a chance!

    I am not a trucker, but there are idiots out there on the roads always doing stupid things to truckers. Like, people if a semi runs into you, you are dead.

    A wrecker said the bridge saved her. Another story of a driver hitting a bus of migrant workers. He also served out of the lane. The difference was the bus driver was under the influence and a long rap sheet.

    It’s painfully obvious that when the pick up trucks truck the Cisco truck, it broke off the tie rods, and she was unable to steer as you can clearly see she attempted to steer to the right and not to the left. She stared right truck went left broken rod.
