This is going to separate the good drivers from the ones who don’t respect the profession. It’s not the “young” driver’s per se… there are a few great Youngbloods out there.
It’s the “IRRESPONSIBLE” drivers. I’ve seen the oldest of owner ops and company drivers alike with chips on their shoulders, driving like they’re the only ones on the road. Those types need to be let go of.

The Police officers should hold them at the scene until a company rep wants to claim them then fine the company, throw him or her in jail. Sue the company out of business. Take the CDL license forever.

@@Mr_Clean Overwhelming agree. Instead what DOT does is harrass all drivers rather than focus on Alien types, Mexicans, Illegal aliens. In fact California has allowed Illegal Alien's to get drivers licenses so as to intentionally work to destroy the white working class wages of truck drivers, but now the Illegal Alien's are destroying the wages of the old Illegal Alien's who've been here for 50 yrs. Lol, lol, lol.

Signs galore, LEFT LANE CLOSED, flashing arrow, orange barrels, 45mph zone, the works. Here he comes trying to do the last second cutoff. There was no time or space left. It would have been bad. Amazing lack of patience and judgement out here. Why would one feel inclined to cutoff a hazmat tanker?

I'm a 26 year truck driver and was rear-ended by a trucker from Canada when I was almost stopped for traffic and a Canadian trucker rear-ended me doing 70mph watching movies. I can't sue him because no lawyer would take up the case because Canadian insurance is issued through the Canadian government. The lawyers said there was only a 50 50 percent chance that the Canadian government would take up the case. So the state tried sueing on my behalf and was shot down by the Canadian government. I now have a messed up hip and neck probably for life. Canadians shouldn't be allowed to drive in America unless their trucks and loads are seized and the driver is imprisoned until all fines and tickets are paid and if they cause an accident, they should be imprisoned and equipment and load until after the lawsuits are taken up by their government. Also we should force them to get American insurance.

Bruh I always hate seeing traffic come to a stop with another truck tailgating me because there's too many drivers on the road driving faster than they can think. I hope there wasn't anyone sitting in that construction truck

0:27 The very reason that vehicle was stopped was to protect workers who are working in that lane up ahead. There's also a big giant flashing arrow pointing towards the open lane. If that vehicle was not there then this truck driver may have killed someone.

The construction truck from the video had an arrow pointing to the Left so had the driver not been on his cell phone he would have seen it well in advance and been able to move over however, traveling at 72MPH in any vehicle you cover extensive amounts of distance in such a short amount of time so by the time he looked up it was too late. Hopefully no one was injured. I’m not in construction but from what it looks like is that truck is to provide a safe environment not only for the drivers utilizing the highway but the crews working on them. People like this are making it too easy for the FMSCA or the government to come in and make changes all while giving truck drivers a bad name.

Dude I see mother truckers looking at their phone all the friggin time as our windows are side by side! 90% of car drivers that I look into have a phone in their hand. Dot isn't doing anything about it. It's fine with dot... Also, let's talk about real trucking. The low pay for what the job requires/ fuck it go home. The slow cars that want to jump on the gas pedal when you go to pass. Hell I had some dickhead trucker today that wanted to do 60 on a downhill and 70 on an uphill just a fuck you to other loaded drivers and I backed out of it, it wasn't just me. He fuck you'd to others after me. There's a constant fuck you in trucking. Never stops.

You can run all you want to in this shitty market. The only people that's surviving now is the people that's plugged in. The load board ain't shit
no more. The shippers ain't paying and the brokers are holding to so it's crazy.
