Just remember Tiki, you are more valuable than those companies. The trailer doesnt make it to the docks without the drivers. Your CDL allows u to write ur own ticket my friend. That CDL is valuable and u can use it anywhere.
@@alanlangley7246 Many truckers job hop. It's expected in this industry. Even if one company doesn't take you there's another one that will. Btw I've only been with 2 companies in 17 years and Schneider was the first
@@alanlangley7246 that is why I advise young people to make the sacrifice and learn trades than OTR truck drivers, you get to have a much better quality of life especially if you have a young family.

You have one of the most positive attitudes ever! Schneider does hold their drivers to very high standards when it comes to safety, however, so I'm not surprised to hear about your experience. Best of luck to you in your career. Lesson learned, you'll be fine.
But Schneider operations managers in Phoenix doesn’t practice everything that they preach regarding their CORE values due to the fact that I used to work for Schneider in Phoenix and the operations manager attempted to blame me for damaging a light pole at a receiver warehouse in Henderson, NV December 24th 2019 but I was stuck in the snow in Flagstaff, Az on that day
Thank you for taking responsibility. The policies may be strict, but we know that coming in. In this day and age, the fashion is to deny, blame and deflect. It's refreshing to hear a man admit responsibility. Good luck brother. I hope things work out for you.
He didn't even do anything wrong though. His camera was mounted and he was talking. RUclips recommended this vid to me, never seen this channel before so I might be wrong, but in the one video I saw he had the camera mounted on his head, both hands on steering wheel. What is the fucking problem here?
I resigned from Schneider last week myself, as a driver. My 4 months there were quite an experience and not a very good one. As some on here have said there are better opportunities awaiting. Blessings to you! 💖
Needing to leave a company (some of the time) confirms the dysfunctions and poor intentions that's exercised and comfortably takes place under the radar and sometimes those in corporate are well aware of all that's taking place. Getting fired usually isn't the best way to go, as they had valid reasons to show how irresponsible you were with your choices while working for them.
I’m currently a Schneider employee but I don’t plan on staying longer than 2 months. 70% of the inexperienced drivers don’t stay employed at Schneider. And that was told to me by a relative who was former employee at Schneider
I find it highly suspect of them that they knew you were violating this rule and never did anything about it until you reminded them that it was time for you to go home for your break. The trucking industry is rampant with this behavior. Once you get some experience look into getting your own rig. There is a lot of freedom in being your own boss. If you don't want to take a load you don't take it . If you want to go home you go home you only answer to you.
You aren't being very truthful about the realities of being an Owner Operator, beyond the very obvious tax stuff, the entire mentality of "You only do what you want, skip loads you don't like..." is a load of bull, you haul what pays, and you don't own the business, the business owns you, because you owe money every, single, week. Take a week off? Still owe all your insurance, all your equipment costs, etc, it doesn't stop, ever, hospital? Too bad, still owe, you'll run more bullshit loads and spend less time at home owning the truck than driving somebody else's, there's nothing wrong with owning a truck, I do, but for the love of God stop telling people that the roads are lined with gold and the farts smell like fucking roses, because it simply isn't true
@@johnhildenbrand2642I’ve always heard expense for your own truck is something of its own I imagine just the routine care gets it’s own share of cost and time
@laneely1518 Lol, you won't mean shit to the IRS when you die and they decide to split everything you have between themselves and the insurance company either, so I'm not sure what your point is. You seem like your salty about companies treating you like an expendable asset, which you are, now you can choose to commit self deletion, or let the company do it for you, but fact is, it'll happen regardless
Years ago I worked for Schneider as a company driver, when Donny Schneider ran the company. I felt that they were a good company for novice drivers to start with and their policies to be there for their driver's in time of need, like getting you home for a family emergency was comforting and is why I chose to sign up. Having said this, my first 8 months were enjoyable and I had fun, but then a life and death family emergency happened. I had medical power of attorney for my parents which were elderly at the time, and my mother was rushed to the hospital, and needed surgery. She had always been in good health up till then, so I would have thought that it would have been my dad not my mother.y cousin contacted Schneider to let the know of the emergency and to see how fast they could get me home, as I had the only signing atthority needed before an operation could be done. Now back in those days, with a fire situation like this, Schneider promised to get you home as quickly as possible, even if they needed to fly you home. Of course like I said, that sounded reassuring, till I actually had to call on the to help me out. I wasn't too far away from my home OC, about a days drive, but instead of routing me home, they routed me in the opposite direction. I of course refused the load stating that I needed to get home to sign the paperwork, so the operation could go ahead. They claimed that all families pull this trick, to get their family members home, except this was for real. Long story short, after reaching out to Green Bay, they got me a load home be for my mother would have perished. The operation was a success, but the doctor's said that her recovery period would be a few weeks, and since my parents were divorced and being an only child, that task fell on me. I kept Schneider informed, but on the day of the operation, Schneider, called me that morning, while my mother was in surgery, to say they needed me back by noon the next day, or they would terminate my employment. Well, I didn't show up as demanded, so they terminated me. Someone once told me, 6 months with Schneider, was like a year with anyone else. I had a friend working for another company, coencedently he just called to find out how my mother was, and when I told him what Schneider had done, he reached out to his company, and they called me that same day. I explained to them that I couldn't start right away until my mother had recovered, and they said take as long as you need. They sent me the paperwork to start the process and do you know what Schneider did? They told my new company that they couldn't get my records from them, because I was still their driver, except they fired me for not returning in the time given. This was their attempt to prevent me from being employed by anyone else. Needles to say they didn't get away with this, after I reported them to the labor board. Once I was able to work again, what a difference between Schneider and my new home. One thing I learned from my experience with Schneider, they only follow policy when it benefits them. It's nice that you had a nice experience with them, but I know lots of driver's that I have met over the my 25+ years over the road that have similar if not worse experiences. As soon as you want time off, you are expendable. Their r a lot better companies out there, and pay better. If you have no accidents and no tickets, in other words a safe driving record, the trucking world is your oyster. Do your research though, just don't take the first job out there. Remember, there's a shortage of good safe driver's out there, something Schneider it sounds like still hasn't learned. Donny use to say that the barrel was bottomless, probably because Schneider would take anyone off of the street and train them to drive a transport, even if they didn't know how to drive a car. Good luck with your search, I would be surprised if you are still unemployed by week's end.
Sorry to hear, I really appreciate your honesty and positive attitude regarding Schneider, I’m a team driver with them, and agree that they are a really good company. Thank you for taking responsibility, it is a rare thing nowadays.
Schneider is a really good company? 😂😂😂 that’s why they have a 100% turnover rate. And furthermore what the hell are you doing making videos while driving?
Their loss. I understand rules are rules but man they missed a good PR opportunity with you. You represented them well. Between you and Reach's FIRING Schneider isn't wrong but this is still putting a VERY negative light on them.
Schneider is just getting rid of potential legal liabilities - they are doing the right thing - distracted driving is the major cause of accidents. Plus use of electronic devices by CDL holders while driving is against federal regulations. Hope Tiki and Reach have not ended their careers - got a feeling most companies won’t touch them.
@@ramblingbill9101 No argument at all which is why I said Schneider didn't do anything wrong.....buuuuuuut...they also told him he could have recorded (with no interaction with the cam) and just put a playover later....Why not give them warnings/reprimands but show you appreciate the free propaganda they brought by allowing them to make their videos albeit THE RIGHT WAY from here on out? Everybody wins. Tiki especially was a great ambassador for them......even after being let go!
I was with Schneider for six years, and my husband for five. We both drove separately and teamed for them. I felt it was a great intro to the industry, reenforcing what I had learned in driving school. We made good money, gained valuable experience in hazmat hauling and pulling doubles. Sure, there were some things we didn’t like, people and places we didn’t care for, but you find that anywhere. We’ve been Owner Operators for four years now, doing AA&E work, and all our past experience prepared us for this fantastic opportunity. I’m forever grateful to Schneider for my time spent there. Tiki, you’ll have no problem at your next job. Best of luck to you.
Hello My hubby and I are looking to start with Schneider soon as team drivers. We're excited to work together but also nervous as we're leaving our current jobs, my husband has been with the company we're leaving for 25 years, so needless to say it's a big step for us. I know that God will guide us. Thank you for your info on you and your husband working for Schneider.
@@shortylee4106 If this is your first time teaming together, be prepared for the friction and emotional baggage that develops when two people spend 24/7 with each other. No matter how well you get along under normal conditions, there will be days when every ounce of patience and forgiveness one can muster will be needed to prevent irreparable harm to your relationship. Hubby and I have been married for 26 years, so we know each other’s behaviors. It helps a lot in knowing when to let things roll off the old shoulders and how to communicate something that is truly problematic. Best of luck to you both!
You'll have a far worse time trying to get along with Schneider, than you will, being with your spouse 24/7 I wouldn't join Schneider if it were the last trucking company on earth.
Every one has to weigh them separately for themselves. High standards is one thing. Candlelight dinner on a snow white table cloth is another. We as operators complain about steering wheel holders. Well maybe that is true then again maybe not. Keyboard punchers burning drivers tells me that upper management likes the punchers that are "smart enough to do the job and dumb to know the difference". ALLL office operators will say "well we are all trained at what you do so what can I help you with?" THAT is when to hang up. The other issue being the key positions that are given to prior drivers to safeguard their retirement. On face value its great, nothing wrong with that. On the down side it is the same as doing those drivers the same way keyboard punchers use drivers. Those now "safeguarded drivers" are comfortable in their new positions and will burn those still driving in a heartbeat at company command. Lastly, I drive like me and for many years. I will continue and would not recommend Schneider or Knight or any other mega carrier another name. If the well trained guru's of trucking and the safeguarded types want me to drive as they would...they need to get back behind the wheel themselves. My driving record is impeccable and not doctored to make it so. I will not tolerate driving as "someone else" would drive. THAT is totally asinine aside from totally unsafe and benign to what got you your driving record to begin with. I will not drive "another's policy, conditions and habits." THAT is what is burning good drivers and making them nervous wrecks within themselves. Company's are actually burning their own industry to the tune of 300% turn over rates per year then complain when they get inexperienced drivers and then belittle them and expect them to stay. Being grown is one thing, playing ignorant and naive to keep a job is demasculation at its core. It all comes from protected ideology within each company and it starts with every company slogan that is in this business. Think about every one of those slogans in reverse and there is a burned driver with a well trained keyboard puncher and a safeguarded retiree. Walk young man, walk. When you do read the next slogan tead it with fresh eyes. Read very well and read thru the written to uncover the unwritten. It is the unwritten or the lightly spoken that will get you yet another bus ticket in disgust.
Seen your video thru bonehead truckers, here to show support and subscribe. You were not in the wrong. Hope you have secured a job thru a better company. Stay safe.
I commend you for stepping up and taking responsibility for your actions and not badmouthing Schneider. More people need to exhibit this type of responsibility and behavior. Just found your channel and this is the first video of yours that I watched and I must say I am impressed.
Truth is that there are more out there just like schnieder who will run drivers to death .To them drivers are a dime a dozen. Companies like that are thier own badmouth. Not even industry leaders respect them, certainly not drivers.
You are a stand up guy and you will go far in this industry. Love the fact that you take responsibility for your own mistakes. Just a note most companies have a policy about the video stuff because of sue happy lawyers. Good luck on your adventures man

Damn that sucks they just lost a good driver ,they should've just given you a warning or a week off since the trucking industry is hurting cuz they need drivers
A week or two suspension and then be required to lead a marketing campaign to end the practice ! Schneider brung me in this is how they see the policy ! Moving forward this is how truckers creating content need to move forward !
Hang in there brother, everything is gonna be just fine. Any company would be lucky to have a positive, hard working, good driver like you. It is only gonna get better from here.
Hey Tiki, i had a 35 year career as a driver and loved it. You have the right attitude and a love for driving. There are some great jobs out there and one has your name on it...
I’m so sorry to hear that. This is my first time seeing you and your video. I’ve just started working for Schneider this year in January. I got my CDL A last year in December. I’m a newbie in the trucking business. You’re right that Schneider is a great business to work for! I see this video is 2 years old. I’m pretty sure you’re with another trucking company. Great video!
Tiki a lot of folks on here are saying they feel bad because Schneider let you go. Heck no, not me. I'm glad they let you go so you can pursue a bigger opportunities. It's a blessing in disguise. I know you have a fiance and young ones and you just want to provide for them which is what real men do. A word of advise. Just be very selective on where you land next. Ask a ton of questions. God Bless and take care.
You've said a mouthful, as some experiences are a blessing in disguise that's often times blatant (on an array of levels). It's rare to find and work for a company that truly exercises morals and integrity. Not to say that Schneider doesn't, as I know nothing about them.
Look into Knight Transportation. Non forced dispatch and get paid daily. They have a Fontana Office I made that jump 15 years ago. I enjoyed it. I have been an owner operator since 2010 out of a small company in Minnesota. Knight Transportation was a breath of fresh air after Schneider.
I 100% agree that everything happens for a reason.. Being positive and confident will take you a long way towards success. I had a similar situation early in my driving career and now I own my own business and it's been very, very good 👍. Good luck...
This remind me of a Bible verse stated: *everyone will be held accountable for their sins/ wrongdoings* I'm happy that he acknowledged that he was at fault, not the company. How I wish that everyone would acknowledge their fault now before it's *TOO LATE* and *REPENT..!!* instead of putting the blame on God for their own mistakes. THANK YOU MY BRO, YOU JUST TEACH THE WORLD SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT.
Dude was like " I couldn't have done this in a truck". Pans over to his rental car and there's a truck right behind it. Lol. Hilarious bro, keep it up.
Wow so sorry bro you handled it like a champ. Super proud of you. Super proud of all you have done you have come such a long way since we trained at mtc together can't wait to see how things turn out always praying for you brother.
All truckers, especially trainees, need to do their homework before starting any company. You need to learn more then just pay, bonuses, benefits, but also their policies, their rules, have an idea of how they run, where they run, what they run, what kind of equipment do they run, do you have to touch the freight, do they have some form of APU or equivalent, do they have inverters, do they have bunk heaters, do they have ez pass, are the trucks governed, do they have extra stop pay, do they have layover/detention pay, do they slip seat or do they assign trucks, what is the pet policy, what kind of driver resources does the company offer, how long can you expect to be on the road each trip, what is their average length of haul, what is the driver turnover and retention rate, what are the company defined obligations to and from the drivers, how much downtime between loads on average, do they preplan loads, and more questions of the like. Ask all these questions and much more before you even think of signing on with the company. Some of these questions may not apply to you or the job you are looking into, but anything that applies to you is something you should ask about. Don't just ask the recruiter or any other company representative either. Online reviews and RUclips help a lot, but beware of trolls that are exclusively against all mega carriers or are just plain biased against any company that they don't work for themselves. Probably the best way to get information on a company is to ask truckers. If you know one, ask any question they are willing to answer. Also, you can go to a truck stop and ask any driver who will talk to you, but beware, most companies nowadays have recruiting bonuses, which can bias that drivers "opinion" on the company so he/she can get that bonus, so take that advise with a grain of salt. If they want you to give the recruiter their name or driver code or whatever, take it with 2 grains of salt. That driver may be guiding you into the best experience you ever dreamed of, or he/she could just see you as a pay day for themselves. That is for you to decide for yourself. Always remember that all companies are not created equal. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and some drivers may thrive and others will fail in any company. It all depends on you, your needs, the company needs, and how well you and that company can balance and perform. One last piece of advise I can give about mega carriers vs smaller carriers...They both have advantages and disadvantages, but ultimately, they both have the capacity to either build you up, or bend you over the proverbial barrel. That is something you will just have to figure out for yourself. Factor in your needs and expectations and weigh them to everything you know about the job you are applying to. Remember that just because it works for somebody else does not mean it will work for you, or the other way around for that matter. Sorry for being so long winded, but I hope this helps somebody.
I agree with the Schneider policy. Ppl shouldn't be vlogging while driving. Stick a cam on your dash and overlay after. Vlogging while driving creates distractions. In a truck thats a no no. Good for you to own up and smart of you for seeing it coming.
@@joeyyc8515 It's also a liability thing. These companies have to pay the bills and they have to protect themselves against liability. At fault or not, had this driver been involved in an accident involving injuries or fatalities while making videos... there would be a lot of zeros on the judgement and there is no defense to it. Using hand held electronic devices in commercial vehicles has been illegal for quite some time. I hope the driver rids himself of the desire to film while driving. His message is great... his timing is horrible
What a genius. They paid for his school, his CDL, he gets himself fired, and now he can go and work for real money. I knew SCHNEIDER sucks ! ! ! Good job baba !

@LoveSweetDreams lol you won’t make 1500 but go for it. That means you would have to drive 3750 miles a week. You will not get those kind of miles maybe 27-2800 mile. They are lying. But you will get some experience and a better job if you stay for 6 months.
@LoveSweetDreams NO. They are constantly rated as one of the top 10 worse to work for. Did you know they are putting breathalyzer s on their trucks? Dont go there. Research other companies first.

Lately I have noticed many of these Mega Carriers terminating newly trained Drivers like yourself - Some are being terminated for Correctable Company Policy Violations - Like in your case for example, you are still in Training, and the company could have given you a written warning, and or provided additional training - But instead they chose to "Terminated Your Employment" for a Correctable Infraction - It don't make sense, when the very same Mega Carriers are crying "Driver Shortage" - On the other hand, these carriers receive Billions of Dollars in Federal Funding from the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act WIOA, and Federal Student Aid just to name a couple - So what is really happening here? - Are Mega Carriers creating a "Driver Shortage" on purpose? - Are they Profiting from the self created turnover rate amongst Students wanting a career in the trucking industry? - Or, are the back office pencil pushers, Dispatchers, Trainers, Managers in these Mega Carriers terminating good young first year drivers, for their own job securement? - I smell Corruption and other unlawful activities taken place here - Tiki, keep your chin up, stay focused, and whatever you do Keep Up That Great Attitude you possess - Wishing You The Very Best On Your Journey !

You are amazing for taking ownership for your actions. I also was fired recently. I am not a trucke but was a personell transport driver. I backed into a tree and broke a taillight. I could blame it on the snow I slipped on or the hour I waited for my pickups who didn't show. But it was me who didn't get out and look. My fault. It is easy to make excuses but ownership is tough. You have a good attitude and will move up to better things.
I gave Schneider a try for about 8 months. I didn't have a problem with them as an employer. I just found out that the hours I put into driving made it hard to balance with my family life. Trucking is not for everyone, and I moved on to something that is better suited to me.
There’s a job out there for anyone if u have a good driving record. It’s not like truck driving is just OTR. There’s tons of regional and home daily jobs out there
I was afraid that this might be coming after what happened to Bobby. Your overall attitude and reaction to this termination is wonderful and is evidence that you’re a mature person with a good head on their shoulders who treats work professionally. Seems like a good policy and I am reassured that Schneider is enforcing it. A good friend of mind was almost killed after being rear ended by a distracted semi driver. Traffic deaths are very sadly on the way up and distracted driving is responsible. Hope the best for you.
Yeah, but listen to his video and what the boss told him, they are not enforcing this because of distracted driving, they are doing it because 99% of the drivers running a social media video presence are negative on the company so it is making them look bad.
Worked accident investigation and reconstruction level 2 many years ago before i jumped in a big truck. Distraction driving you say..yes I agree, point of possible perception, actual perception, speed and reaction time...make no mistake elds increase speed, distract and have caused accidents but you'll never hear about that...control, control, control..
@@Daishar Sorry, but you are incorrect. If you become a Schneider employee, they take great pains to explain to you that there are different TYPES of distractions. Using electronic equipment while driving is definitely not only a VISUAL distraction, but an AUDITORY (hearing) distraction as well. Beyond that, with the way social media goes these days, it would be really not the best idea to be posting things about ANYTHING - whether it's good or bad to social media - simply for the fact that you are talking about the company that EMPLOYS you. Whether it's good or bad, you really shouldn't be posting to social media about those things. If you wanted to inform people of your experience as a truck driver in a general sense, you could do so without disclosing the company that you work for. It's just not a very smart idea. Younger people don't understand this, because the world that they live in is so saturated with social media, nobody really thinks about the consequences of living your life online. Being a true professional keeping safety first and foremost in mind at all times is something that a professional driver with a commercial driver's license should always do. It is not a responsibility to be taken lightly as you have the biggest vehicle on the road and could kill so many people with just two seconds of inattention. Believing a company when they tell you that they do not allow certain things to happen and acting accordingly is what a mature adult does. That is also something that younger people don't understand. There are consequences to the decisions and actions that you make when you are working for an employer. Whether you agree with their policies or not the bottom line is they have the right to terminate you if you do not follow their policies - whether you are talking well about them or not - whether you are posting to social media or not - it just wasn't a smart idea what this gentleman did, and hopefully he has learned a valuable lesson. That being said, there is such a shortage of truckers right now he should have no problem finding another job and if he wants to do whatever he wants to do with no consequences, then he should probably consider becoming an owner operator and then he can wear his GoPro camera on his head all day long and record every fart and thought that comes across his head and broadcast it on social media for everybody to watch because we all just can't live our lives without knowing every single thing that somebody does.
I went to work for them close to 30 years ago. I stayed one month. I was young, but they were good. Tiki, get a driving job away from big freight companies. I’m an old school trucker from way back. If you want to make money at it, that’s the way to go. Small outfits that know who you are. Good luck little brother. “Phantom Rebel”
You dealt with this matter in a mature way. Big companies don't want to leave themselves open to allegations of safety infringements as the liability could end up being huge. Matters probably took a while for both you and Bobby because I expect Lawyers and Insurers were involved. I wouldn't be surprised if induction/training emphasises policy regarding filming whilst driving in future, as there is almost certainly a legal safety problem, especially for rookie drivers who need to concentrate on driving and not be distracted by presenting for their YT channel. Whatever Bobby's opinion, there are similarities between presenting for a YT channel and being on the phone whilst driving, so maybe they expect there will be legal precedent on this soon. If the law ends up banning truckers channels, it will raise problems for the company to shut down truckers from recording after they had previously permitted it, or were at least aware of the matter. In my (and the law's opinion) interacting on the phone whilst driving causes accidents. Similarly, someone dividing their concentration by presenting will also cause accidents ... especially as a rookie. I enjoy trucking channels. However, I am also open to other perspectives and would not want to be comforting the parents of children killed because a driver was distracted by presenting their YT channel ...
As a viewer of a couple of channels and not a driver, I think it also matters under what conditions the recording is being done. If you’re talking to a dash mounted GoPro while you’re out on the road with nobody around in the middle of Colorado, or while you’re stuck sitting in traffic, or while you’re backing slowly into a dock, the chances of having a problem with other people I think are minimal.
@@JohnHallgren Whilst I understand the rationale what you are saying, unfortunately, as with drink driving on a quiet road, the law is unlikely to make such a differentiation ...
No state nor feds can make any laws to ban trucking channels (1st amendment violation that would be tossed in court faster than anything anyone has ever seen), however company wise, every company he applies for will see this on his DAQ and companies will distance themselves. A static camera while talking without any interaction would be within the law (perhaps not company policy but legally it would be covered).
CFI is a good company and enjoys people who make content and she'd good light on them. CFI see's that people who love making content helps them massively and that's why they love the other content creators like Riding With Dave(RWD). Im working on getting my CDL later this year and CFI seems to be the company im going for. Edit: Pro tip, if you are planning on making RUclips content with any trucking company make sure you ask a higher up about it and ask about restrictions on recording if there's any.
Screw that crap you have to walk on eggshells with these Mega carriers been there and done that decades over-the-road don't kiss anybody's ass you are underpaid overworked I will never do long-haul again
Make sure you pay attention in orientation and read the company employee manual. The rules and company policies are there. If you violate any policy or rule you have no one to blame but yourself. These companies are not in the business of youtube , they're in the freight hauling business and you are a liability if you drive distracted. If you want to create YT content then don't do it behind the wheel.
Many years ago I responded to an ad from Schneider. They offered training and would provide transportation (from Connecticut) to the training center (I think it was in North Carolina). The guy doing the seminar took one look at me and decided I wasn't a good fit so he made an excuse that I was "Outside the area" for the ride to the training center and motel. Funny how the other people at the seminar weren't "outside the area". I told him I'll drive myself down and pay for my own motel room. He said "We can't do that." As if they're not allowed to train me if I save them the money for travel and a week long motel stay. Oh but he was generous though. He gave me a pen with the Schneider name on it.
Hey, Tiki sorry to hear that brother. Why don't you team up with Bobby Reach, you guys will definitely make a great dynamic duo 👍. You a cool guy and I'm looking forward to your next journey ✌
It's good to see you get your start with Schneider and let them get you trained, now its time for you to move on from them because in all honesty they are terrible company anyway and treat their employees poorly. Now you get to move on to bigger and better.
I worked for Schneider for 23 years, Schneider IS NOT a terrible company. The only reason I left is I took early Social Security and Schneider didn't have part-time where I live. Swift did.
@@lovangels55 Agreed, I don't understand the new drivers today, unless you get your social media hug, then you start to whine and cry. They really need to put some big boy pants on. Generation Y&Z are just a big bunch of cry babies.
I just can't believe that Schneider has grown to the size, it is, and it's financial independence, by being a "terrible company" and treating their employees poorly. I bought my 1st new truck, through SFI, while leased on to SNBC. So, if you've never worked there, how can you form that type of opinion or make that type of statement? The man who got terminated, in this video, admits to breaking their policies and understands. Why is it his fans don't? I guess since he got "likes" to his comment, that's all that matters...smh.
@@robert9291 You're are absolutely correct that one who hasn't worked for them can't form an opinion, that being said I have and worked out of one of their terminals in PA, they maybe a good company now but back then they were not, could care less about their employees and their equipment. I got fired for refusing to drive a truck that was dangerous and that they refused to fix, not to mention the facilities were disgusting, dirty with mice running around the lounge areas.
Yay I'm happy that you are freed from that sucky ass low paying company. You have such a bright future in vlogging. And honestly you seem way happier. Keep the videos coming.
I am now retired voluntarily early from a career in computer programming. However, after two years at my first job out of college, I was fired for “you did your job too well so we have to let you go”! Took a couple of months to find another job back then but the new job paid a lot more than the old one. I’ve only watched a couple of your videos but you seem to be having the right attitude towards this and not prioritizing video over actually driving.
This is the driver you want in your fleet. Accountable. Enthusiastic. Great Character!
but does not pay attention to the road like a professional driver.
Just remember Tiki, you are more valuable than those companies. The trailer doesnt make it to the docks without the drivers. Your CDL allows u to write ur own ticket my friend. That CDL is valuable and u can use it anywhere.

You have one of the most positive attitudes ever! Schneider does hold their drivers to very high standards when it comes to safety, however, so I'm not surprised to hear about your experience. Best of luck to you in your career. Lesson learned, you'll be fine.
uh huh

A blessing in disguise. Move on and keep on trucking.
I resigned from Schneider last week myself, as a driver. My 4 months there were quite an experience and not a very good one. As some on here have said there are better opportunities awaiting. Blessings to you! 💖
what didn't you like about Schneider, I'm about to go for orientation
Needing to leave a company (some of the time) confirms the dysfunctions and poor intentions that's exercised and comfortably takes place under the radar and sometimes those in corporate are well aware of all that's taking place. Getting fired usually isn't the best way to go, as they had valid reasons to show how irresponsible you were with your choices while working for them.
Definitely. They’re definitely better opportunities out there. Schneider is a great company to start off with I’ll give them that.
@@Ghanaba23 go there and learn, then move on. The higher pay comes with owning your equipment and becoming a carrier, gl!
You only answer to yourself but their are a lot of questions from the bank and the tax man you better have ready to answer:)
Nah. Why do I wanna pay for the tires ? 🤣

Your upbeat positive attitude about this situation..speaks volumes about your parents raising you well.

Sure, there were some things we didn’t like, people and places we didn’t care for, but you find that anywhere. We’ve been Owner Operators for four years now, doing AA&E work, and all our past experience prepared us for this fantastic opportunity. I’m forever grateful to Schneider for my time spent there. My hubby and I are looking to start with Schneider soon as team drivers.
You'll have a far worse time trying to get along with Schneider, than you will, being with your spouse 24/7
I wouldn't join Schneider if it were the last trucking company on earth.
Depends on the account because I worked in Walmart account over London Kentucky and I'm quit just one week later

! ! Good job baba !
still has to pay for it in a payment plan.... What I did with mine was I was getting ready to file bankruptcy. So I got cdl training through CRST then filed bankruptcy a few months later but never reported to them to start work, It was discharged in the bankruptcy. That was in 2005

New subscriber here, just came over from The Asian Mai Show after hearing about what happened with you at Schneider. I really admire your positive attitude in this video of your final day with Schneider. You are an inspiration ! Remembering how you reacted, I will try to be more positive in my day-to-day activities.

You did the right thing man, and Schneider is a good company to learn and work no matter if you are a beginner or an experienced driver, the only problem is that salaries are a little low.
@LoveSweetDreams lol you won’t make 1500 but go for it. That means you would have to drive 3750 miles a week. You will not get those kind of miles maybe 27-2800 mile. They are lying. But you will get some experience and a better job if you stay for 6 months.
@LoveSweetDreams take it
@LoveSweetDreams NO. They are constantly rated as one of the top 10 worse to work for. Did you know they are putting breathalyzer s on their trucks? Dont go there. Research other companies first.
Absolutely, positively NOT!!!! All the jobs driving for any big carrier are GARBAGE!!!!
All the regional carriers; Fed Ex Freight, Saia, Old Dominion, Yellow Freight are hiring inexperienced drivers.
@LoveSweetDreams where did you go to get your cdl?
Good guy here. This is how you do it folks. You own up to your actions and face the consequences in a mature way.
Your positivity in the face of such a situation is exactly why you'll continue to succeed. It's contagious! Loved that message at the end, "In order to have the good days, you gotta get through the bad." Truer words have never been spoken, keep truckin'.
As a driver just starting out, all your video gave a lot of good information.

Love seeing people that can own their mistakes and not shift the blame. You are awesome. Thanks for being a positive role model to others and showing that there are good rules and good companies that have to enforce it. Some company is going to see this and want to give you even bigger opportunities just because of your attitude. Well done.

“Phantom Rebel”
Like bobby said what's meant to be will happen. Them letting you go opens up a door for a bigger and better company to hire you 💪🏾
You dealt with this matter in a mature way.
Just like Bobby reach, your attitude will take you far 💪🏽

Cfi sucks as with any mega carrier, you are just a number
