Your results were expected, an EQ pedal won't change the character of the amp. Maybe a cocked wah will get better results, but you will end up being tired of having a wha pedal always on😁
@@StevenAnthonyGuitar I would have done the same thing, hehe. On the other hand the new Suhr SL67 MkII it's a totally different beast. But If I had to buy a new amp I would go for the DIY route with Ceriatone or Modulus.
Sounds great, although I find this amp favours single coils.

@@myuncle2 I've tried so much that at this point, if I want a Marshall, I'd just buy a Marshall. But they're a lot cheaper in Europe than in the US.
