I can see why you're excited about all your WIPS they are all so lovely. I'm working on Happy Halloween and Arctic Animals. I also started historical sampler advent last year but didn't get very far, seeing yours has reminded me how lovely it is and it would be nice to make some progress on it.
Oooh, you have 2 fabulous choices there with the Happy Halloween and Arctic Animals...I adore working on those! I am itching to work on the HSC advent design again...especially seeing as there will be another fabulous Christmas SAL this year 😜

The Arctic Animals SAL is super cute and I am tempted to join in the Halloween SAL from Historic Sampler Company now that I've seen how lovely it is on your channel! 🤭I keep telling myself that I am not going to buy any more kits until I've completed some of the ones I have already, but .... !! LOL! I think my cross stitch WIPs total is at 18, thought it was 17 and then remembered later a magazine kit that I had made a tiny start on, so 18 it is. Mind you, if I add all my other craft WIPs in then the total is HUGE! One day I'll have no WIPs - oh look, there's a pink flying pig coming over my house! I wasn't far off! I said 25!!! I think 20 is reasonable. I've got that many knitting WIPs alone..... then there's a couple of crochet projects, spinning, kumihimo, cross stitch, peyote beading.......... The list goes on! I need to retire!!! I'm FAR too busy for work!! 😂
Good guess! It sounds like you have a very healthy WIP count there yourself 😂 Work definitely gets in the way of cross stitch or any other creative hobbies 😂
I adore you and your channel and I did start the pdf version of the Historical SC Halloween SAL. Because you encouraged me and introduced me to their company. You didn’t warn me that their designs are completely all totally fabulous! And now that jingle bell one…. I live across the pond, Cat! I want all the boxes and fabrics and things not just the patterns! 😭😂. And I have two more picked out where the kits aren’t too bad price wise. Sooooooo pretty. And I do love your mugs but donuts push yourself because then it won’t be fun. Why not make a bell pull or vertical panel board with four magnetic sections. Finish four mugs as flats with magnets on the back and as you finish them you can switch them out over the next few holidays!

Guess how many WIPs?? Not sure, but I'm guessing we're going to need an Intermission at half time to restock the popcorn bowl! 🍿👀 I'm seeing a recurring theme here. Beads seem to slow down the speed of nearly any project that includes them. Going to have to start calling them bead-humps in the road to FFOs.
Well popcorn may have been required but 20 WIPs in 36 minutes plus additional cross stitch waffle? I was quite rpoud of myself that it wasn't a feature length episode 😂 Also...bead humps may be more accurate than you know...but there's a story for the next flosstube 😜
