Great to see your progress on 'lemons'! I'm enjoying it so much that my other (just 2) WIPs aren't getting a look in! That seahorse needle-minder is fabulous. What a wonderful kind gift. Hope you're enjoying a very sunny relaxing day at The Limes, just a few miles away from me. Lots of love, Mum xxx

Hi Kat! Great progress on your Chromatic Dragon and your fancy lady! Love, love, love those needle minders! Your fox pattern is adorable! I look forward to the pattern release.
Loved seeing all the different WIPS, was so happy to see the woodland fox. He is just so cute and i'm looking forward to seeing the blended threads video.
@@catkinandlillie I absolutely did. 🙂 I liked the little examples you did to show how blended threads make the colours blend more softly as apposed to the sharp stop of one colour and the beginning of the next.

Big up the clinical pharmacist massive!!!! I moved from hospital pharmacy (frailty rehab wards/neurology) last year Now I work in primary care!!! I just knew you were good people when I was watching!!!!
Oooh, we were even in a very similar area of practice then. I have considered primary care but think I'm too settled in my current job and love the team I work with. I hope primary care is working out well for you 😄
@catkinandlillie I can honestly say that I miss my old job - the teams I worked with were awesome!!! What I DON'T miss is the politicking management!!! Oh, and all the overtime I did! And I do make sure to only work my 8-4 and go home. I'm glad you no longer have to do any overtime - yay!!
Would you consider a virtual haul of big, beautiful, full coverage patterns? I’d be so interested in patterns you would stitch if time were no object, and the considerations you think about when picking full coverage pieces. Many thanks, love your videos!
Ooooh, that's a really cool idea for a video and has definitely got me thinking! I definitely have thoughts about the type of full coverage I would go for...and yes, I have a wish list that would take me about 50 years to stitch 😂

Hello Kat! It has been super hot here in the last couple of weeks, hasn't it? Mum and I have booked a semi-last minute break in Weymouth so I am hoping that the good weather lasts but that it cools down too: not that I want everything all at once! I've only been watching the Olympics at my mum's because I don't have a TV (no space in my living area and probably too much of a distraction anyhow) but one new event I did enjoy watching was the kayak cross - kind of chaotic particularly when the paddlers got themselves caught up with each other and a gate they were meant to be going round! Over the weekend we dipped in and out of the Olympics because we were also watching The Hundred cricket! I am glad you are catching up slowly with the Jingle Bells SAL from the Historical Sampler Company: it's looking very pretty and I love the white thread on the green fabric! Did you order the aida or the linen for this year's stitch a long from them? I would definitely have stuck with 2 strands for the mouse design and if the coverage is good enough then you could just keep with 2 strands for the rest of it too. Kat thank you for your time and I love your wips. I love the Olympics and I was lucky enough to go and see the rowing , which was fantastic but so very hot 🥵. Oh, that's fantastic that you were able to go and see some rowing at the Olympics! I love the bmx biking and diving...it's all just so impressive to watch! I have only very recently discovered stitchy days and don't know too much about how to find them, but there is a Facebook group called Bee Stitchy Retreats which is great. I also searched for cross stitch groups in or around my area and found a couple that have meet ups, which were Birmingham (UK) Stitchers and Pals Meet Up and Black Country Friends Craft Together, both on Facebook. I'm sure there are tons more that I don't know about...I've just started dipping my toe into this! I will say that retreats are often announced a very long time in advance and places go very quickly.

That's fab that you are close to Andrew and I would be very jealous if you got to meet up with him but I hope you can some time. Only a few sleeps until my stitchy day...just deciding what project to take with me.
Isn’t that the hardest? To decide what to take. Take two you really want to work on. That way you can switch back and forth as the mood hits. No full coverage though!
What lovely progress you’ve made! Your channel is one of my favorites since you do a wonderful job of editing, your pleasant speaking voice, and because very rarely do you say um or uh! I can’t listen to channels like those. Have you ever used ball-tip needles? I was going to try them the next time I do an evenweave project. ~Elizabeth from California ❤
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for appreciating the editing 😊🩷 I have tried ball tip needles and am not a fan because I find that the ball tip ends up stuck in holes I don't want it in and it causes me more hassle. I've had quite a number of other stitchers find the same. But on the flip side I know a lot of stitchers think they are amazing. So you really have to test for yourself. For me they are more expense for no better stitching experience and maybe even worse, but you may find totally the opposite! They are the Marmite of needles 😂
Was there a specific fabric you were interested in? Quite a few of my projects are on hand dyed fabric and the details are in all the info panels that I put on screen when I introduce the project, and then you can find links to the suppliers in the description.
@@catkinandlillie I would be new to that type of fabric and no particular one and also venturing out on different sizes of fabric as well. Thank you for responding.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for appreciating the editing 😊🩷
I have tried ball tip needles and am not a fan because I find that the ball tip ends up stuck in holes I don't want it in and it causes me more hassle. I've had quite a number of other stitchers find the same. But on the flip side I know a lot of stitchers think they are amazing. So you really have to test for yourself. For me they are more expense for no better stitching experience and maybe even worse, but you may find totally the opposite! They are the Marmite of needles 😂
I love your floss tubes so mutch! ❤ I have just one question, the chromatic dragon witch you stitch, is this the large or the standard version?
Thank you 😊 The Chromatic Dragon is the large version as I wanted the extra detail 😄
Where can I the-pretty fabric that looks like tie dye?
Was there a specific fabric you were interested in? Quite a few of my projects are on hand dyed fabric and the details are in all the info panels that I put on screen when I introduce the project, and then you can find links to the suppliers in the description.
@@catkinandlillie I would be new to that type of fabric and no particular one and also venturing out on different sizes of fabric as well. Thank you for responding.
