WIPGO - A How To Video:
• WIPGO: A How To Video
I really look forward to seeing your videos! I wait until I can sit quietly and watch the whole video without interruptions and also work on my cross stitching ❤. I get very excited when I get a notification that there's a new one! You're works are beautiful!
That's so lovely to hear how much you enjoy my videos and so nice that I can keep you company while you stitch 😄
Just another great video and presentation. A++ ♥️
Aw, thank you so much 😊
Thank you for another lovely video. Going through a rough day today and your calming voice is helping to soothe some of that roughness away 🤍
Hang in there. We all support you as fellow stitchers and send you a hug! Get out your current WIP and a cup of your favorite beverage and STITCH baby, stitch! ❣️❣️💫💫
@@cynthia8022 awww, thank you! This means more to me than you know. Love this community! 🤍🤍🤍
I am so happy I could help in my very small way and sending hugs 🩷 I hope brighter days are ahead for you.
So amazing to see the supportive community here, thank you and 100% agree with the advice 😄
Hoop backs! OMG Finishing Christmas ornaments springs to mind......
Yes yes yes...they would be perfect! I think they are the neatest way to finish. I certainly can't get on with sewing felt on the back...that does not look neat when I do it 😂
Hello Kat! I’ve never commented before, as I’m usually a silent viewer, but just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos. I discovered your tutorials last year and they’ve been very helpful! I recently started watching your FlossTube videos… I’ve binge watched every episode over the past week and I loved every single one. I’m now all caught up on the FlossTube videos and looking forward to watching the new episodes as they are uploaded! Thank you for sharing your lovely stitchy projects. Have a lovely weekend 😊🧵🪡💖
Hello! That means a lot to me that you would take the time to leave me a comment and it makes me very happy to hear you are enjoying my videos so much. I can't believe you binge watched all the episodes!! Mind you, I have done that for Flosstubers or podcasts that I love so I get it! I hope you will enjoy my latest video 😄🩷
Your finished stitching looks so good. Love them both.
Thanks so much 😄
you're making great progress on your wips!
Thank you...it's so fun to see the progress and glad you can enjoy it too 😄
Hope you have a wonderful vacation with lots of good weather and lots of stitching time.
Thank you, I'm sooooooo looking forward to it 😄
Thanks for sharing your projects with us. The deadly aquarium is fun! I also don’t work on Fridays and it’s awesome! Julia is beautiful.
Yay for not working Fridays 😆 I just love the start I got on Julia...such pretty colours! Very me with all the pink and purple 😄
I'm always so impressed! So much stitching done and Wow the Deadly Aquarium is coming along so quickly! Nice work :)
Aw, thank you 😊 It's going to be an odd one for the next video having had a week away but I have got lots of progress on Gaia...so excited to share her!! Less progress on the Deadly Aquarium but hoping to catch up at least a little bit before the next video!
Aww thos hoopbacks r so nice rly love that idea! And ur framed ffos just sooo cute
Yeah...the 2 finishes are pretty different styles but I love them both equally 😄 Those hoop backs are just 👌
Have a lovely holiday Kat! I love the sweary frog 🐸 😂😂 xx
Thank you 😊 I'm having fun stitching the frog 😄
I love all your WIPS but the Deadly Aquarium is definitely my favorite. I may have to get that one myself!! 😂❤
Do it!!! It's one of my fave WIPs too as it's a fabulous design, a bit different to a lot of other things out there and is so fun to stitch! Sorry not sorry for the enabling 😂
@@catkinandlillie lol, I’m sorry, not sorry for your enabling also! 😂
Wow way to go on the progress Kat! That dragon is coming along nicely. Every time you show Rossa I’m like I really need to start that! She is beautiful 😻. The Deadly Aquarium I would love to do. I just have to much on a tight schedule. So no Sals for a bit for me. I love your wips. Great video! I’m working on No Time Like the Present (Sal) while I watch. 😊 I love your Sals! The dr Tim’s gift it’s beautiful. That frog 🐸 looks great on that. 😆 I have you beat with my 4 stitch start last year on my birthday stitch Greta Goldbroom! Nice light have fun on your holiday and please have a safe return 😊
Tight schedule...oh yes, I'm right there with you 😂 I do love all my WIPs though 😄 Your No Time Like the Present is one of my fave WIPs of yours! Looking forward to my holiday and stitching on Gaia and that fabulous frog 😆
@@catkinandlillie thank you and I think those are some excellent choices for your trip! That frog I’m really thinking about doing it!
I am stitching the Frosted Pumpkin SAL and had fun with part 1. I do love the deadly aquarium too, but I just don't have time for another!
Always too much to stitch and not enough time 😂 The FPS SAL is such a good choice though...utterly adorable 😄
Another great video, I so enjoy watching them....Beautiful WIPs and finishes.....I love the hoop finishes where did you buy the stands for them please?....looking forward to your next video....Have a lovely holiday x
Thanks so much 😄 I'm having so much fun on holiday and lots of stitchy time 😄 The hoop stands are either tiny easels that I had in Cotton & Twine subscription boxes or the little flat ones are from www.etsy.com/uk/shop/BartonStudioUk but I haven't seen them stocking them for a while ☹️
I NEED THAT FROG! 🐸
That is absolutely me at the moment.
(On the same theme, I probably need the lemons and G&T one, too)
Frog is very relatable 😂 Having fun stitching it on my holiday 😄
Great video, loved seeing all your projects. I've signed up for the Historical Sampler Halloween SAL too, couldn't resist after seeing the sneak peek.
So glad you're enjoying my projects...and my enabling 😂 I think the Halloween SAL will be super fun and cute 😄
Love this. you should do separate close ups of the items and then edit them in as static image cuts under the continuous narrative video.
Hmmm, that's a good suggestion. Have you seen any other Flosstubers do it this way, just out of interest? I might give it a go 👍
🐴🐴🐴
Those wooden hoop backs are a great idea and it’s the perfect time to discover them as my daughter is stitching something as a gift and I’d been wondering how to finish it off nicely.
I’m really enjoying the Deadly Aquarium SAL. Though I’m wondering if we are getting a two week break, or whether it’s a two week gap as we’re getting something larger than the first three parts?! I hope it’s the former!
Oh, I'm so glad the info on the hoop backs was timely for you and they really are such a great finishing touch 😄
Having seen part 4 of the Deadly Aquarium it doesn't loom any bigger so phew! Although I am very behind so need the extra week to even get close to catching up 😂
But who is going to stitch it for Mum?? 😂
Fortunately she doesn't like G&T so it's fine 😂
@@catkinandlillie lol oh good! You’ve made me remember G&Ts so now I need to update my drink shelf.
Your projects are lovely. What count do you prefer to stitch on?
Thank you 😊 My favourite count is 32 count evenweave or 16 count Aida as I find it a nice combination of fabric coverage with 2 strands but the stitches are not too tiny that they are harder to stitch. I will use 14 count Aida/ 28 count evenweave though and very occasionally 18 count Aida. Oh, and my full coverage is 25 count.
yey, you're working on your fox. it looks so cute already. I have a beading related question actually. Which needle do you use to do your beading? I bought a needle that was meant to be for beading but it's so long and a little tricky to use. Any tips? Please and thank you. :) Have a lovely holiday can wait to see what you've been up to.
I bought several beading needles and was horrified how long and extremely pointy most of them are. I can't remember exactly what I am using as I'm still on holiday but I'll check for you when I'm home as they were shorter and have been much easier to use. For a lot of beads you can use a size 28 cross stitch needle though.
Thank you. I did try using one of the needles I already have but they wouldn't go over the eye.
Thank you for replying and saying you'll check for me. It's appreciated. 😊
Enjoy your holiday
I'm back home so before I forget...the needles I am using are Size 10 John James Ball Point Bead Embroidery needles and I bought them from Lakeside needlecraft so here's the link www.lakesideneedlecraft.co.uk/john-james-bead-embroidery-ball-point-size-10-14952-p.asp
As with all beading needles the eye is super tiny but they are less pointy and stabby than a lot of others and much shorter. They definitely fit through the holes of the Mill Hill petite beads.
I am also planning a few videos on beading...at some point 😂
@@catkinandlillie Ahh you're amazing, thank you. thanks for getting back to me. Can't wait to watch the next video. Hope you had a great holiday. x
That dragon is beautiful. I am a beginner so I do not think that is one I should start. Since you show your work what frame are you using?Thank you.
Thank you...it is a beautiful design. To be honest it's not so hard even for a beginner as there are only whole crosses...but there are a lot of them and there are a lot of colour changes. As for the frame...I don't use one! No hoop, no frame! I stitch all my pieces 'in hand'.

I am curious how you mange to stitch at work, wondering what job you do now....
I only stitch at work during my coffee and lunch breaks so probably 30 minutes max but it's really great for calming my brain down. I work as in a hospital as a specialist Frailty Pharmacist so it's pretty intensive brain work to assess and adjust frail older people's medications...which is why I love a little bit of cross stitch in my breaks to allow my brain to relax a bit!
@@catkinandlillie that's a fantastic job. I great idea to have that down time while you can. Cross stitch is the best for distraction.
