Kat - I think the lightening strike fabric will be the best choice. The colours you're concerned about are probably surrounded by other colours and will show up just fine. So many marvellous projects - love the new starts! I've started stitching the Arctic Animals and am enjoying the first step. Maybe Cosmos fabric would be good for the Arctic, but I think all the fabrics are pretty and could work. You could switch out any floss colours that aren't enough contrast if you want as you go along. Congratulations on your loyal royal 5 K viewers... marvellous!

Thank you 😊 I was really intimidated by the amount of confetti but breaking it down to just picking it up and putting in a thread or two really helps. I don't feel like confetti makes for the neatest stitching but I'm sure the end result will be great 😄

I love the cotton and twine project you’re working on. That one is beautiful. I don’t like every single one, but that one is lovely! The coffee gnome is also very very cute! I went to see Joe Bonamassa at the Royal Albert Hall a few years ago. He was absolutely amazing and it was a beautiful venue ❤ I’m off to a spa this weekend with my stitchy sister in law. All your WIPs are looking amazing but I have a soft spot for chromatic dragon, it feels like you make so much progress in between updates
Thanks Emma 😄 I definitely recommend Polstitches for fabric and they are the fastest I've found as well for hand dyed to order...usually 3 weeks which is incredible! I definitely have a soft spot for the dragon...I can't see that one going on time out because I really want to keep up the progress even if it's 1 day a week!
That coffee gnome is so sweet. Pity you're not loving the Lanarte piece, but life really is too short to stitch on things you dont love. I have certainly ufo'd things and do so without guilt. Royal.

I like that pretty little garden stitch even though you seem a bit tired of it. That coffee gnome is cute. I don't personally care for gnomes but that little guy is certainly teying to turn me. Or perhaps i just need coffee!? I would use the darker fabric for the aquarium and keep the one with more splashes of white clouds for a scene needing a bit of sky. Lovely pink and gray bag! Ha ha...I would absolutely tell you just to start Gaia but it can just get stressful to have too many WIPs and not get to finishing anything. I'll love seeing her if you do start though! Oh yes...that Birds at Water Pump does have some confetti, but it's not too bad. To be fair, the dragon also has a LOT of confetti and I don't mind that so much!

All your WIPs are looking amazing but I have a soft spot for chromatic dragon, it feels like you make so much progress in between updates
Thanks Emma 😄 I definitely recommend Polstitches for fabric and they are the fastest I've found as well for hand dyed to order...usually 3 weeks which is incredible! I definitely have a soft spot for the dragon...I can't see that one going on time out because I really want to keep up the progress even if it's 1 day a week!

I would use the darker fabric for the aquarium and keep the one with more splashes of white clouds for a scene needing a bit of sky. Lovely pink and gray bag!

I have got Gaia in my stash. Now you’re making me want to fully kit her and start but if I do I won’t never get it done. I might start her in August and doing a day or two. Oh that bee one is so cute 🥰. I love the Halloween I put a spell on you. That water pump and bird, I know why it’s full of confetti too! I spent the evening watching and sorting the new floss I bought today for a couple in my short list to do soon. Congratulations on 5k!
Ha ha...I would absolutely tell you just to start Gaia but it can just get stressful to have too many WIPs and not get to finishing anything. I'll love seeing her if you do start though! Oh yes...that Birds at Water Pump does have some confetti, but it's not too bad. To be fair, the dragon also has a LOT of confetti and I don't mind that so much!
