From one fish nerd to another, this video is phenomenal. Seriously, the video, b roll, music, voiceover, just all around fantastic. I really enjoyed watching it. Amazing footage! Congrats again on the spawn!
Thank you so much! Makes me want to keep pursuing better and better. I redid the voice over for about an hour until I was satisfied with it when I saw that it was almost midnight
@@WeldonTanks I asked because mixing different fin types often brings some anomalies. The female is a long finned betta while the male is a plakat (short finned). They are both gorgeous fish and I hope everything goes well with the fry.
Watching my Betta pair spawn was incredible! What is your experience with breeding betta fish?
Awesome video very intresting to see there courtship behavior
This video probably is my favourite on how you explained how to breed them than any other video I’ve seen. Great job
Thank you! That is a big compliment
Your very welcome. Keep it up 👍🏼

Nice video spawning beta👍
Is it possible to breed less aggressive fish? Like so the males are able to be kept in the same tank? Or would that destroy their color over time?
No idea about destroying the color over time but I don’t see you finding success. Males will naturally be aggressive for territory
@@WeldonTanks you don’t think over like a hundred or more generations you could eek it out? It’d be a life time quest for sure.
Is there any reason why you decided to use two fish with different fin types?
No reason at all. I picked based off body and coloration I liked.
Fins look similar to me

I consider myself a novice still when it comes to bettas. Thanks for the info. Hopefully it does not affect the fry with growth
My famale always die after breeding.
Sounds like you need a better hiding place or need to remove the female after breeding. Most likely aggression.
