Lost 289lbs. My husband said it is my choice. However, due to other health issues he doesn't want me to take the risk. The only thing I want is my arms. My legs i can't get done due to having lymphedema. But right now we are saving for a house so I don't want to pay for it. Yes please share the journey.

Thank you for being so open and honest. You are refreshing. I've dropped about 145 pounds. I don't say lost because what's lost can be found, and I don't want to find it again. 😊 Anyway, I had the extra skin removed from my stomach but not the other surgeries as I'm 72 and figure I can live with it. But, honestly, if I had the finances, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I wear 3/4 sleeves to hide the skin on my arms and don't wear shorts like I use to my the upside is I feel so much better. Thank you for all your videos and how you help us with our weight loss and keeping it off journey. ❤

Hey all, My partner and I lost 175 lbs between the 2 of us doing carnivore and then keto. We used fasting and intermittent fasting and neither of us have major loose skin issues. We sear that this is what helped us. We would regullary intermiitent fast using 16/ 8 and then did several 24 hours and up to 72 hours. As she said, everyone is individual but this is worth a try to avoid pain and scars as she said.

thank you for this video. Often, many have unrealistic expectations and/or believe we have had constant surgeries if we've lost a lot of weight. I lost 138 lbs back in 2007 from Gastric Bypass and never have had addtl surgery. I kept my skin elasticity by eating protein and staying active but I never was a gym person. I walk and watch my eating by eating a KETOVORE lifestyle.. Heavy meat keto.. no processed foods. I would love to view a full video on your upcoming surgery and recovery.. May God Bless you journey and recovery.

I have lost 28 lbs , and I want to get 180 lbs. You're so great just talking and showing things to eat and making it feel so much easier.
I enjoy your channel so much.
I made your wraps for dinner and dessert. I made the yogurt with the hard shell with sea salt to make look special, and no one knew I put it in dessert glasses 😋, my husband never knew.

Wow! You are incredibly brave to have done this at such a young age! It is so beautiful to see you happy and confident.
I was 16 years old when I got plastic surgery -Rhinoplasty! I paid for it all on my own. It cost $4500 CAD and $1500 CAD for the Anesthesia and hospital bed for one night. My father came with me at the consult to give consent. The plastic surgeon did a terrible job but I was still happy I got it done. I am 50 years old today and I am still healing from the scars left behind. Not the scars of the surgery, but the scars from being teased from having a big nose. Building back my self-confidence took a lifetime. You inspire me☺️

I put on 30kgs with my first child at 23 and then lost 35kgs. My tummy was so gross and saggy. I had two more children at 27 & 30 and also put on 30kgs it took 12yrs to lose that weight. My tummy was saggy but also my legs & arms. At 38 I had pelvic floor issues which required an operation. My doctor told me that I had bad connective tissue but didn’t advise me what to do. Now at 52 I have learnt that for bad connective tissue you need lots of protein and collagen and that unfortunately my body is like that and I need to work harder nourishing it more than others. When I was younger I never ate protein, it was toast and noodles. At least you are at an age that you probably fix or reverse stuff

I lost bout 85lbs and want to get this done after I lose the last 20-30lbs. I lift weights but if I get to my goal weight, and I'm not happy with how I look. I will do it.

I always found it so ironic in my weight loss group or rather it was a gastric sleeve group that there were so many women who didn't know if they wanted to do the surgery because they didn't want the hanging skin it never made sense to me some of them weighed 300 lb and I was like that's okay but a little hanging skin is what's holding you back I just didn't understand that thought process at all if I could have all the surgeries you did I would do it in a heartbeat I would not care about the scarring at all :-)

It is very interesting to hear about the scars. I had an appendectomy at age 9 and I have the same scar as you described for yourself. I am currently on my weight-loss journey and have lost 47 pounds so far. Still have 69 to go. I've done mine very slowly. I'm almost a year in on my weight-loss journey and so far, I do not have the loose skin like you've described. I'm working out and semi dieting. I still eat what I like or what agrees with me, really, because of my gluten intolerance. Which is fine. Hard but fine. Now, I have been using the compounded semaglutide because wegovy has been impossible to get. The wegovy was insurance approved but because the wait list was ridiculous long, my doctor found a compound pharmacy close by and I've been using them. I've struggled with the semaglutide but insurance approved a dietitian and that's been extremely helpful. I have not had the side effects like many experience with loose bowels or extreme weight-loss. I had at first constipation but that worked itself out (no pun intended 😅) and I have been normal. During all of this, because I'm in my mid 40s, I've dealt with low testosterone (yes ladies can have that and it's very drastic when it happens) and a low functioning thyroid. Through a series of questions from my doctor after I complained I was freaking tired, falling asleep in the middle of my workouts, midday just falling slap out (not normal for me) and my waist long hair falling out in clumps... my doctor had a hunch and he was correct. I also take the bioTe testosterone pellets and a 60mg thyroid and I am back to feeling like a human again. But I don't know that I would have the loose skin surgery, even if I needed it. It's not mandatory for me. My husband was happy with me at my heaviest and supports me in my efforts now. I have a farm and truly I cannot afford downtime. But you should definitely feel proud of your weight-loss and everything you've accomplished. Through the pain, struggle and scars...you've managed to turn a test into a testimony and help many others along the way. I'm certainly one of those people. Your comment section is full of inspiring testimonies and accolades thrown your way. You definitely have done so much for so many. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. It has enlightened me a bunch and I am proud to be a LCL subscriber. ❤

Yesss!! I really wanna see the scar revision journey! I have had an extended tummy tuck actually, and my scar is like almost circumferential, its across my whole lower abdomen and extends to my back, almost touching. I also had a hard time with healing well, and my scar is hypertrophic, wide dark and flat. I definitely wanna see the scar revision it would help me so much to know my options and how it could go! Thank you so much for your videos!!!

For your arms and legs, were they able to lift and tuck in your armpits and groin area or did they have to make a whole line down your leg and down your arm?

Scars verses lose sagging skin. I vote for scars. Thank you for talking about your personal experiences with being overweight and your after weight loss surgery. I’ve not known anyone who had skin removal. My sister had liposuction on her thighs. Which was very painful. But I know she’s glad she did it.

I really want a thigh lift and an arm lift. Would you be willing to share your scars? They may be in a place that you can't share, and I will understand that, but I do keloid, and then after a few years, they go flat, so I would be interested in knowing what the scars look like. Thanks for considering. Lisa
