@MrBreyercrazy i have lost about 28 pounds last year, and an additional 60 pounds this year after following this channel. You wouldn't believe the difference that I feel now.
I typically have 3 eggs and 1 piece of Ezekiel bread for breakfast. Maybe a couple pieces of turkey bacon or turkey sausage. Sometimes I mix it up and have a veggie cheese omelet. I drink plain water 95% of the time. I will have an alcoholic beverage for girls' night or date night or a latte a couple times a month. My biggest cravings are usually Asian and Mexican. I know how to make them lower carb but I still want the real deal sushi, enchiladas, nachos, etc. I am down 55 lbs with lower cholesterol, great A1C, and lower fasting sugars!
As someone who works out fasted in the morning, I have my carbs post workout-like a slice or two of sprouted grain bread or sweet potatoes with eggs and lots of veggies and then taper my carbs off for the rest of the day. Lost 200 pounds 5 years ago and have kept it off doing that. Gotta find what works and is sustainable for you!❤
Thank you for this information. I did keto with someone I was staying with at the time. I learned a LOT from the whole experience and I did lose 103 lbs. From 339 👇 to 236. I stopped there, because sadly she passed away in 2019. So I didn't have her support and help to keep on track and accountable. Then I tried another wt. loss route. Did not work. So I'm trying to seriously do intermittent fasting and regular fasting interchangeably. So far that is helping me.
It makes so much sense!!!!! I have a HUGE problem with sweets ESPECIALLY in the morning!! And so through out the day I’m hungry, nothing NOTHING satisfies my hunger . I go from sweet to salty and then salty to sweet!! It’s terrible!! It’s so so frustrating. But now with what you just said “NO CARBS in the morning ” it just makes so much sense!!!!
Totally relatable, keep it simple, I love your easy delicious recipes. I used to be a carb junkie, Bread, pasta, sweets, fruit i ended up over 300lbs. I tried everything out there. I had binge eating disorder, Bulimia and seen obesity doctors, had a weightloss surgery nightmare, nothing worked till I went keto. I tried Saxenda,ozempic, I had mild, even great success on everything, but I would fail every time. I lost 100lbs I think 4x sorry I'm 57 now and I've dieted my whole life, can't remember how many times, to regain it.😢 Anyway I Intermittent fast from 11 am till 7pm, 2 meals a day, plus a protein shake. I went on to loose 140lbs and ive kept it off in menopause 8 years now. It can be done! I could go on and on about how sick I was, how much food I could consume, How I was never not full, always hungry, this saved my life. I have no more inflammation, no eating disorder, a normal relationship with food, I aged back wards, people think im in my early 40s,more energy than I had in my 30s and 40s. I pretty much d8d what she did, drank a protein shake at 11 am, with 5 strawberries, mct oil for fats and my brain, sometimes 2oz cream cheese, with monk fruit for a sweeter drink, bacon and 3 eggs most days, an avocado lots of vegetables and protein. I would eat 2 large meals and my protein drink over 8 hours, abd it was really that simple. After time you stop feeling hungry, you stop when your full the cravings go away, and for sure if you give in to those carbs, healthy or not, the cravings get stronger and for the bad carbs. I'm not mostly Carnivore or low carb. Bi feel my best on Carnivore, but my body needs some carbs. I eat between 30 to 50 daily to loose weight, once I was fat adapted, I ate 20 to 30 carbs to loose the weight. 20 was too low abd I'd fail, so start a bit higher if you can't do 20 or under. Better than nothing. Then go down. If you can do it at 20 or less, awesome. Sorry this was so long. It's nothing compared to what I could say, it's that life changing, to the nay nay layers, all my drs approved and also recommend a low carb lifestyle. It's not all bs on here and this lady seems very dedicated and passes on great information. So thank you for that abd sharing your wonderful recipes. Congratulations on your success 🙌 ❤
@daughterofthemosthigh3417 no you can, if you're trying to do keto, 50 would be max. After 50 it's low carb, you won't go into ketosis. I prefer 30, that's what my body likes. 20 is too low for me.
My #1 breakfast for weight loss is a sunny side up on a low carb toast with butter 5 cherry tomatoes and 6 olives with coffee with almond milk. It keeps me full and gives me energy 💪🥰

Eggs are the best complete protein on the planet eggs with bacon or meat or cheese , even satiate you, and most people are able to go without eating until dinner. I sometimes have an apple in between.Or some grapes, but there are ways you just have to figure out what you enjoy eating.Everyone's different but that's a good tip and it's very healthy. Also if you need to cheat eat sourdough bread find it with 5 Ingredients sprouts has it. or make it. 120 calories for 2 small pieces a day. Sourdough uses fermentation, and it's utilized in the body differently. I lost 120 pounds myself 40 years ago. And as a nutritionist i've learned about food And nutrition which is also very important. I'm going to make your brownies today. They looked delicious.

I drink coffee in the morning and not a fan of straight black coffee. I can do black with sweetener or just cream. How do you take yours without breaking fast?
I can totally relate....I've noticed with myself that food has been something I turn to when I'm emotional...especially having a stressful day.....but I'm learning I can't turn to the sugary high carb foods when I feel stressed....it's a learning experience
I’m a diabetic and I have insulin resistance. I did Atkins about 25 years ago. My PCOS symptoms went away. My A1C was at 5 and now it is at 14. I am going to save this video.
I too love my coffee, usually eat when I feel hunger and eggs are my go-to food then. Sometimes I will eat again around 5 or 6, depends on who I'm with, works for me. If I go till 7 to eat anything it is a bad sign, I won't sleep well then. I've lost 60 or 70 pounds, can't seem to get any further, but as long as I stay Keto-friendly I feel great as an 80 year old who has dieted all her life. Girl I’m right there with you with needing flavor in my water. I’m not going to say that I don’t drink plain water sometimes but I have several bottles of Mio and I took your advice with the Chili Mango and bought a box. I’m so glad I did too. My brunch is MCT protein A2 coffee latte with goat cheese and walnuts. And then I take 6 hrs time till my dinner time while sipping my electrolytes trough the day. And My dinner is grass fed protein drink and Greek plain whole fat yogurt high in protein, and small bowl of strawberries as desert. 😎 it’s such a perfect diet that actually works and almost not hungry.
I guess because I need to take vitamins in the morning, I usually try to eat breakfast by 10. So I’ll have acv and a keto tea with truvia in am until 10am. And then at 10 I have protein coffee with 2 net carbs, then 2 eggs and cheese will keep me full till dinner at 4pm. I am most successful when I have 2 keto meals daily along with IF. And I usually flavor water with lemon or collagen drink. 😊
Thank you, this is exactly where I am right now. I was doing so well and then all of a sudden the chocolate craving hit, gave in and now I'm on a downward spiral. I will concentrate on a better breakfast and hope it helps as you say it will. Appreciate how real you are about all of this you have helped more than you know. I was fasting since earlier this year but I got back to eating junk and started eating regular again . But I’ve been back on track and started going back to the gym. I also eat turkey bacon 🥓 the butterball one , do you recommend a different one ? And I have my eggs , sometimes I’ll have cheese and definitely need my coffee . I’ll have a donut after I break my fast but I’ll eat my food first and then that for dessert. I’m trying not to eat sugar everyday . That’s tough 😢.
I've lost 105 lbs last year doing keto and intermittent fasting and been hanging around +/- 5 lbs for almost a year now and I can definitely agree, even though this is simple I can say it really works, this is very similar to what I have almost every day, instead of bacon a lot of times I get these chicken sausages from Costco (almost a mental thing of being overweight my whole life to see bacon as something that is ok to have - but now I have been doing keto for so long a few strips of bacon and my hunger is just zapped). something I learned from Dr. Berg is don't deprive yourself, have things that you enjoy and look forward to eating. I also like a couple eggs, half avocado, pork chop, and 1/2 cup of saurkraut, onions, jalepenos. Basically when I lost my weight I had eggs, a protein and half avocado at 12pm for my first meal, then a huge salad at 4pm so I fasted for 20 hrs. I call that my autopilot. My weakness is beer and salty crunchy things, and what you said is so true about using this type of breakfast to start over.. sometimes if I go on vacation or have a weekend with family where I go off script, I just start the autopilot over on Monday, sometimes I widen the fasting window and add a 3rd meal for a few days, and then just slip back in my groove of 12 and 4pm. when that happens you can see the difference of living in almost chaos being hungry all the time vs. having the balance and lack of hunger when in the groove.. Also it was great to see you have the queso fresco, I also love that stuff! queso fresco is good for a quick cheese sandwhich (bread - look up youtube 'lowcarbabode' her rustic bread recipe), you can do savory with pesto, tomato and queso fresco, or eat the queso fresco sweet (I make my own keto blackberry jam, super easy- lots of recipes out there), the queso fresco saltiness goes great with a sweet jam, or even balsamic vinegar with olive oil and italian herbs, very versatile.. My wife's grandmother used to make it at the finca and sell it in the plaza in Colombia.
I only have water and coffee each morning and break my fast around 1:30-2pm, but a colleague told me I'm not really fasting if I have coffee with cream&monkfruit sweetener🤔. He said it should only be water. Your thoughts?
I am getting your book as my Christmas gift to myself early in December so I starting in December and not January. I think I am doing Keto and low carb right now with some Intermittent fasting because I need to stay off of carbs to keep my glucose sugar in target daily. Ugh.,
lways love all the videos you do..I have been following you feels like forever I lost all my weight but cant get in to maintenance....my brain is so programmed into 18-6 intermittant fasting/1 meal that I feel like mentally I'm afraid to eat more and now have been trying more protein build back muscle.....can you give some advice on maintenance and transitioning into introducing another meal or something but yet keep your "diet/lifestyle" going in a maintain my loss mindset....Thanks so muchJulianna NC
Even as a kid, I never was much on cereal. I've been eating eggs for breakfast for years and surprisingly have never wanted anything but that. I make an egg white omelet with cheese, and I'm satisfied. If I want something sweet with it or after, I use keto bread and make toast with swerve brown sugar and cinnamon. Thanks Myra!

Breakfast of Champions for sure! Funny I am the opposite I LOVE water with NO FLAVOR. Have you ever tried it cold instead of room temperature? It is so refreshing! And no worries about any harmful ingredients in there like maltodextrin which is in the LMNT. Sadly.

Yes best satisfying meal! If you don't have bacon just do 3 eggs. Protein is key after fasting. I just got introduced to sardines...it's not my favorite but man it keeps me full ALL day!!!
You also lose weight with equal protein to carb with protein being more grams. Example protein 21 grams carb 17 grams You will lose weight but faster weight lose is mostly protein and veggies but you need to eat the right veggies and drink at least 4 18 oz bottles of water a day. Also intermittent fasting is awesome
I drink regular coffee and regular creamer. I don't have sugar. I really need to know what kind of coffee. It's a good coffee to drink and I'm a hot coffee drinker..
I didn't think yogurt was full of sugar. My regular breakfast is fage yogurt and blueberries 🫐. So this was So helpful. Trying bacon and eggs for breakfast in the morning 🌄. No wonder I don't lose weight.
Not sure if they have it in your area but here they have something called true lemonade, true lemonade, and I believe it it’s just crystallized fruit it’s low glycemic, diabetic, friendly, awesome awesome awesome and they have so many different flavors raspberry watermelon, Wildberry, strawberry, lemonades, citrus, iced tea and you can find it where you would find the crystal light but it’s actually good for you

Myra, I don’t like plain water either, but I found if I add a couple slices of cucumber to my water it adds a very refreshing taste to it.

I’m not going to say that I don’t drink plain water sometimes but I have several bottles of Mio and I took your advice with the Chili Mango and bought a box. I’m so glad I did too. My brunch is MCT protein A2 coffee latte with goat cheese and walnuts. And then I take 6 hrs time till my dinner time while sipping my electrolytes trough the day. And My dinner is grass fed protein drink and Greek plain whole fat yogurt high in protein, and small bowl of strawberries as desert. 😎 it’s such a perfect diet that actually works and almost not hungry.

I guess because I need to take vitamins in the morning, I usually try to eat breakfast by 10. So I’ll have acv and a keto tea with truvia in am until 10am. And then at 10 I have protein coffee with 2 net carbs, then 2 eggs and cheese will keep me full till dinner at 4pm. I am most successful when I have 2 keto meals daily along with IF. And I usually flavor water with lemon or collagen drink. 😊
Do you ever do longer fasts? I like a 24hr here and there. Gut reset

Thank you, this is exactly where I am right now. I was doing so well and then all of a sudden the chocolate craving hit, gave in and now I'm on a downward spiral. I will concentrate on a better breakfast and hope it helps as you say it will. Appreciate how real you are about all of this you have helped more than you know. I was fasting since earlier this year but I got back to eating junk and started eating regular again . But I’ve been back on track and started going back to the gym. I also eat turkey bacon 🥓 the butterball one , do you recommend a different one ? And I have my eggs , sometimes I’ll have cheese and definitely need my coffee . I’ll have a donut after I break my fast but I’ll eat my food first and then that for dessert. I’m trying not to eat sugar everyday . That’s tough 😢.
I've lost 105 lbs last year doing keto and intermittent fasting and been hanging around +/- 5 lbs for almost a year now and I can definitely agree, even though this is simple I can say it really works, this is very similar to what I have almost every day, instead of bacon a lot of times I get these chicken sausages from Costco (almost a mental thing of being overweight my whole life to see bacon as something that is ok to have - but now I have been doing keto for so long a few strips of bacon and my hunger is just zapped). something I learned from Dr. Berg is don't deprive yourself, have things that you enjoy and look forward to eating. I also like a couple eggs, half avocado, pork chop, and 1/2 cup of saurkraut, onions, jalepenos. Basically when I lost my weight I had eggs, a protein and half avocado at 12pm for my first meal, then a huge salad at 4pm so I fasted for 20 hrs. I call that my autopilot. My weakness is beer and salty crunchy things, and what you said is so true about using this type of breakfast to start over.. sometimes if I go on vacation or have a weekend with family where I go off script, I just start the autopilot over on Monday, sometimes I widen the fasting window and add a 3rd meal for a few days, and then just slip back in my groove of 12 and 4pm. when that happens you can see the difference of living in almost chaos being hungry all the time vs. having the balance and lack of hunger when in the groove.. Also it was great to see you have the queso fresco, I also love that stuff! queso fresco is good for a quick cheese sandwhich (bread - look up youtube 'lowcarbabode' her rustic bread recipe), you can do savory with pesto, tomato and queso fresco, or eat the queso fresco sweet (I make my own keto blackberry jam, super easy- lots of recipes out there), the queso fresco saltiness goes great with a sweet jam, or even balsamic vinegar with olive oil and italian herbs, very versatile.. My wife's grandmother used to make it at the finca and sell it in the plaza in Colombia.

I only have water and coffee each morning and break my fast around 1:30-2pm, but a colleague told me I'm not really fasting if I have coffee with cream&monkfruit sweetener🤔. He said it should only be water. Your thoughts?
Well seeing that cream has calories, and quite a few, you’re not really “fasting”. But it’s till better than having cereal or waffles for breakfast
I am getting your book as my Christmas gift to myself early in December so I starting in December and not January. I think I am doing Keto and low carb right now with some Intermittent fasting because I need to stay off of carbs to keep my glucose sugar in target daily. Ugh.,

lways love all the videos you do..I have been following you feels like forever I lost all my weight but cant get in to maintenance....my brain is so programmed into 18-6 intermittant fasting/1 meal that I feel like mentally I'm afraid to eat more and now have been trying more protein build back muscle.....can you give some advice on maintenance and transitioning into introducing another meal or something but yet keep your "diet/lifestyle" going in a maintain my loss mindset....Thanks so muchJulianna NC

Even as a kid, I never was much on cereal. I've been eating eggs for breakfast for years and surprisingly have never wanted anything but that. I make an egg white omelet with cheese, and I'm satisfied. If I want something sweet with it or after, I use keto bread and make toast with swerve brown sugar and cinnamon. Thanks Myra!

Breakfast of Champions for sure! Funny I am the opposite I LOVE water with NO FLAVOR. Have you ever tried it cold instead of room temperature? It is so refreshing! And no worries about any harmful ingredients in there like maltodextrin which is in the LMNT. Sadly.

Yes best satisfying meal! If you don't have bacon just do 3 eggs. Protein is key after fasting. I just got introduced to sardines...it's not my favorite but man it keeps me full ALL day!!!

You also lose weight with equal protein to carb with protein being more grams. Example protein 21 grams carb 17 grams You will lose weight but faster weight lose is mostly protein and veggies but you need to eat the right veggies and drink at least 4 18 oz bottles of water a day. Also intermittent fasting is awesome
I drink regular coffee and regular creamer. I don't have sugar. I really need to know what kind of coffee. It's a good coffee to drink and I'm a hot coffee drinker..

I didn't think yogurt was full of sugar. My regular breakfast is fage yogurt and blueberries 🫐. So this was So helpful. Trying bacon and eggs for breakfast in the morning 🌄. No wonder I don't lose weight.

Not sure if they have it in your area but here they have something called true lemonade, true lemonade, and I believe it it’s just crystallized fruit it’s low glycemic, diabetic, friendly, awesome awesome awesome and they have so many different flavors raspberry watermelon, Wildberry, strawberry, lemonades, citrus, iced tea and you can find it where you would find the crystal light but it’s actually good for you
