      I started out low carb but honestly u don’t need to cut out carbs .. eat unprocessed carbs. Im losing more weight including carbs because im not binging anymore cause im satisfied now.

    Dairy free Creamer recipe :
    1 cups raw almonds
    1 pinch of sea salt
    2 cups of water
    1 medjool date, pitted
    1 dash of vanilla extract
    Soak the almonds until soft, drain then blend with 2 cups of water and the rest of the ingredients.
    Blend on high until creamy and smooth then strain mixture in nut bag or clean towel or t shirt.

    Ive been low carbing since 1998. I lost 150 lbs in 16 months. Losing weight is not so hard, but maintaining is, for me. I love watching you, Mayra & others just to remind me or I'm still learning something new everyday. Im currently intermittent fasting & drinking apple cider vinegar.       I use 2/3 unsweetened almond milk you can use vanilla, 1/3 fairlife 2% and trivia liquid flavored vanilla or Carmel (Amazon) or sweet leaf butter toffee stevia for real low carb swap the fairlife for half and half. Fairlife for me is happy medium it has protein and lower cal less fat then half and half

    I find that heavy cream in my coffee and green tea is AWESOME! I only use 1 tbs per cup so am not getting all the junk that's in creamer. Half and half is good too...just a little more carb, but not as creamy as heavy cream. Even if you're not keto or low carb, 1 tbs of heavy cream is not going to hurt you. That and a little stevia along with 1 tbs of MCT oil (start MCT oil at 1 tsp when you first try it for the first couple of days until you get used to it or you can get a little diarrhea...you'll adjust quickly) is my morning ritual...SOO GOOD! ☺️

    I just did a test, the other day. I tested my sugar my normal 2 hours after eating and was 98. I had two ounces of vodka (just vodka) and 2 hours later, I was at 100. The key is to have a "little" and only grain alcohol. Wine and beer have way more carbs, though having a little every so often is not going to hurt. Also stay away from most of the mixers, they have way too much sugar, but diet soda isn't bad, as long as all the artificial stuff in it doesn't bother you.
    Also, I have started eating Carbe Diem pasta. If you want low carb pasta, that actually tastes and eats like real pasta, you should try this. I can eat a good size portion and it doesn't raise my sugar any more than it normally is.

      I used to get those and thought they were amazing until i realized it had gums and i said nope
      The malk brands are not terrible . They have clean ingredients but the creamer is not creamy
      I saw a video on someone making their own milk and sweetening it with dates.

      I would say use whole milk or a cleane plant based milk with 2-3 ingredients add cinnamon and honey . I use a dash of honey and that’s enough

    I find healthy clean plant milk at Sprouts
    It’s called Elmhurst brand
    They only have 3-6 ingredients and there all healthy
    This is what I use for my coffee and I use liquid stevia and I get it at Sprouts too
    I drink coffee only one time a day and I have been losing weight

    Question ? Towards the end you mentioned about insulin levels being spiked and not going into fat burning …How many grams of sugar does it take to elevate your insulin? Also how long does it take from a spike to drop down to fat burning again ? Thanks

    I need to lose the last 10 and I find it to be the hardest 10 pounds to lose. After a lifetime of drinking coffee with milk I finally was able to change to black coffee in the morning. It has definitely helped me curb my appetite

    Snacks boiled eggs, yogurt, and if I am home I have halo top ice cream chocolate add the zero chocolate and nuts, protein powder for fudge effect. It is 200 kcal. That's when I need a chocolate fix. 1 pint is 300 kcal. So eat half delicious

    Thank you so much for your helpful suggestion about what to snack on: chicken breast, beef sticks, hard boiled eggs. This is a GREAT suggestion as I really need to get past these snack cravings for junk food. I will ask myself the question first: Am I really hungry? And, if so, I will turn to these 3 items.       Fruit is sugar and needs to be very very limited. A bowl of oatmeal and fruit is the worst thing for your body. It’s all sugar and carbs.

    I have definitely incorporated all these tips and have reached my goal. I have now started to incorporate some of the foods I like and find myself gaining weight. My question is Is this going to be an on again off again way of life or is there another solution to maintaining my goal weight

    Your tips have helped me so much! I am down 15 lbs and I'm never hungry. Increasing my protein and staying away from anything processed is key for me.

    Intermittent fasting has been a game changer for me. I also learned my keto journey is far different than my husband. He can definitely maintain his weight with a higher daily carb count than me. I need a more vegetable and protein style keto than him.

    Also what is your intermittent fast timing?
