      I love the new iPhone SE because THAT IS ALL I NEED and wish there was a MacBook equivalent to compete with the more affordable PC laptops. Nice comparison, I have the mid 2015 model, I took him new from an Hungarian in 2018 for 1400 euro ..recently I have upgraded the ssd from 250 to 1 tb with only 140 euro an an adaptor witch cost 10 euro : all is working fine .. I don t have to use heavy programs but instead I use a lot all the ports that are so useful without any dongle ..I can't upgrade my magsafe . The new Mac have 0 upgradable parts and this means that you have to support the extra cost added on real time when you buy it ,extra cost that are out of hardware market , eventually you will find after that you even don't need that extra upgrade ...so let me say that soldered ram, soldered hard disk (with the problem of data rescue in case of broken logic board as they are crypted with the t2 chip) is no good things ... sorry for my English

    Of course the 2019 model is better in almost every compartment, but I still have two remarks.
    1.) you are too biased towards the new one. Screen comparison - none of those Google websites is white. One is blue, the other is more orange. There is no "paper-like" feeling on any of them. Speakers - do you really recommend these shitty speakers for music production? Come on... whilst it is true that the speakers on the 16" model is one of the best out now, it still has no real accurate bass, high are missing and high-mids are too present. This is an inherent flaw of small speakers - you can't cheat physics.
    2.) the price difference on these machines is almost ridiculous - I mean the 16" model costs 5-6 times as much as the 2015, but with everything said it won't give you 5-6 times the experience.

    • @Devil-dt9vc
      @Devil-dt9vc 4 года назад

      5-6 times as much 😂. What a joke.

    VERY NICE REVIEW! Will definitely consider the 16inch 2020 version soon!
    I still have the ever dependable Mid-2015 15Inch Macbook pro and it does wonders without the need to bring a lot of dongle adapters and cables, sure it does not have the convenience of having that one touch authentication and has a slighter weight but who would have noticed those few grams anyways? :)
    Got the 2018 15Inch Macbook pro retina w/ touch bar, after 2 years, it already has a lot of issues, left speakers dead/grounded, keyboards frequently stuck, very noisy key strikes even with its thinner profile (especially when you're trying to sneak work during midnight trying not to wake up your wife :) ) and a really noisy fan that will eventually translate to your laptop being slow at times especially when you're working on multiple tasks/windows, the only thing i love about it is the One Touch authentication which is the most convenient thing and the type c charging which is seriously fast, screen is ok but not something worth upgrading if you already own the 2015 one. Just get a better 4k monitor from Dell or LG and it should set you up nicely if color quality really matters to you :)

    The 16" whites are far too eye-straining yellow. Here's how I corrected. System Prefs/ Displays... generate a custom colour profile and change from default 6500 colour temp to 7500. Save and then re-select to activate. Still too much yellow? ALSO try this... Access System Prefs / Accessibility... then navigate to Display. Enable colour filters and select type: Colour Tint. Apply Apple "blue" from the middle colour chart. Close up. While you're still in Accessibility, you will see the blue tint is selected. Make sure it's set at its lowest tinting value. This will take that headache inducing edge off your whites and provide a more neutral overall visual experience.
