    do you prefer your right foot over your left foot? it looks like you were using your right more on the bag, and it kinda looked like your right foot was going higher than your left when you were practicing while holding the wall for balance.
    when i kick, my right leg is stronger, but my left leg is more flexible...it's strange, but i know i have to practice both sides! i'm working on it.
    thanks for the tutorial, it gives me some ideas on how to train this essential kick.

    • @brentmouille
      @brentmouille 6 лет назад +1

      lenglithad77 my wife is the same way. her right leg is her dominate one but she is more flexible in her left

    • @ggstatertots
      @ggstatertots 6 лет назад +2

      lenglithad77 Lol me too. Strangely enough, it's easier for me to kick in forward directions with my right leg, but easier to do back kicks with my left.

    • @lenglithad77
      @lenglithad77 6 лет назад +1

      i think the reason for my leg preferences arises from my early years training taekwondo where we would always spar with the left leg forward and the right leg back...so my right leg feels more natural doing rear leg kicks and my left leg feels right when doing lead leg kicks.
      it's all about how you practice! one piece of advice i heard was: practice your good side once, and your bad side three times.
      i've been trying to do just that, more lead leg kicks with the right, more rear leg kicks with the left. either way, slowing things down to focus on muscle strength instead of relying on momentum to carry your kicks is a sure way to improve.
      when you say "back kicks," do you mean turning/spinning kicks? i also feel different spinning left versus spinning right, but again, it comes down to practice: good side once, bad side more.
      good luck in your practice, y'all!

    • @OfficialRAWTRICKS
      @OfficialRAWTRICKS  6 лет назад +1

      Sorry i just reply, i get lot of messages so i have to get to each one 😬🙈
      My right leg is stronger and my technique is better to the right side, but i tend to work in both sides always, even tho is difficult, but small improvements are better than none 🙏
