The most important and most fundamental move in capoeira GINGA, referring to a way of moving loosely and freely.
Here is my latest video, here you can do it with me and learn this awesome and dynamic fight stance.
Im breaking down GINGA in 3 different steps
    PARALLELA
Standing shoulders width apart distributing your bodyweight equally between both legs, try keeping your back straight.
    BASE 1
Right leg behind, standing on your toes and putting almost all bodyweight on the supporting leg, the idea is to always be engaged and ready for an attack or a counterattack,
    BASE 2
Same as as the previous stand, just remember to keep your back straight your arm up and never cross that imaginary line in the middle.
    Thank you for watching,

I've done Capoeira on and off for 30 years now with various groups and this is by far the best breakdown of Ginga I have seen. Tudo de bom!

Unlike many other capoeira tutorials, yours are effective and really helpfull! Last summer, i saw one of your videos, and it inspired me to start capoeira at a local group, Jacobina Arte! Thanks alot!

I know I already said you're a great teacher. And you prove it one more time. I teach capeira to my pupils since 2003 (I'm a primary school teacher) and I think I'll use your routine to teach them the ginga ! Kudos !

Call this question random if you must, but please don't let that distract you from the point. RUclips "Pokemon Stadium 2 RARE SHINY GRAVELER." Based on the way it flips in the video, do you guys think Graveler has potential in capoeira? The reason I'm asking is I'm making a video about why Graveler should be a Rock/FIGHTING type Pokemon.

Great, I am a 64 yr old PE Teacher doing online PE for my students. I just finished a Boxing Moves unit for fitness. The capoeria moves are excellent for body conditioning in a limited home space. I will practice and try it with the class. I will tell the kids I want participation and practice and not perfection yet....especially me. Thank you

Thanks man this is awesome!! have leant so much from your videos still have a long way to go but loving it...I think about training all the time and trying new movements and when I do I go for hours just trying to make sure the movement is correct. the natural movement of the body while doing capoeira not only conditions the body but conditions the mind. Practicing outside is so spiritually grounding and brings you so close to mother earth its amazing. You finish feeling so much good positive vibes. Thanks again for sharing the gift of Capoeira :)
