First of all....it all started by searching for a video totally different from this, but RUclips for some reason suggested to me "9 easy flips movement..." so I started watching the video and I was so amazed by the way you made it look soooo simple. So I started watching Official Rawtricks video and to my surprise, the guy (you) was showing capoeira moves and they looked so easy to do that I wanted to do them as well, so I joined a capoeira group here in Panama, and the rest is history. Not an easy thing to do, but so f%cking challenging. But everything was thanks to you. You were an inspiration and still are. My range of motion is of a 60-year-old man that never stretched in his life (but I'm not that old), and watching your videos is a mind opener for what I can do when I´m practicing alone. So please, keep posting your videos, you are doing such a great job.
Keep up the good work, it's all good mistake and all. Respect to the Brazilian massive in Italy Maestro Dioni and Maestro Chichinio plus Maestro Godi!.... London crew stay blessed.
Also I really dig working with the ball. I trained briefly with a mestre in Brazil who had us using sticks on a beach. We'd bury them in the sand and work around it. A lot harder to keep balance on the sand, heh.
I started watching your videos because I want to learn Capoeira to have fun and try and do more exercises. And I wanted to ask you if it's possible for me to learn Capoeira at least mediocre level just from your videos, because from where I am I have nobody to teach me? Much love from Romania 🇷🇴
Thank you for your comment and support, to be honest in order to get better you just need to train and practice, capoeira is a Martial art that requires that combat aspect, meaning you need to play against other people to learn the fundamentals of combat, distance, timing, countering and so on, although if you see it as improving your overall body movement you can get really good practicing on your own, I do online coaching as well, so keep that in mind
I personally really enjoy your streams when I can catch them, though I live in the U.S. Not sure where you live but the two times I've seen your streams were at like 9P.M. And 3 A.M. here haha. I work night shifts so I'm always up around then anyways.
Thanks for the tips !! Really good one the deck of cards 😁 i've created myself a random code that gives me a sequence to do but your method is way much simpler ! Like your videos, axé 💪
Professor I have question regarding some physiology, Specifically Quixada/crescent kick give me some sensation and plopping sound deep in the hip (not pain) specifically when coming down with my legs. I have experienced this in the past too when training muaytai/kung fu. I have done some research on this and it seems possibly related to some weaknesses in the hip area, and there are some people who have repaired it with strengthening exercises ,,but hard to find good info because the hip is so complex area, do you have some ideas about this? Maybe I'm already lessening it with exercises but I thought with your experience you might know about it and have some input?
