Doesn't matter how bad you start a speech, but how well you end it. Look how we soon forget the errors at the start (obviously he intentionally made them) but how impressed we all are when he ended with a task 5 times more difficult and didn't make a mistake. I love the psychological aspect of his presentation. He knows how humans are wired

Using negative word like " NOT" in a sentence is surprising and it should be avoided.
example : Say my name is (Alex) , and someone asks me " What is your name?"
then is it correct to use the word "NOT" and reply :
" My name is NOT Abbot" / " My name is NOT "Achinta" / " My name is NOT "Balu"/" My name is NOT "Chaitanya" / " My name is NOT "Dilip" / " My name is NOT "Eshaan" / My name is NOT "Faiz" / My name is NOT "Gajendra" /My name is NOT "Harry" / and so on.

    1. Always pay attention on 1 thing at a time. Don't do multitasking.
    2. Focus on deep learning by following the following steps :
    Input > Reflect > Implement > Share
    3. If you're spending *x* amount of time on *input*, then spend *2x* amount of time on output.
Now some quotes for motivation :
" A mind that has stretched to new experiences can never go back to old dimensions."
    Always try new things.
" Your learning ability decides your earning capability."
" If you have a faster learning ability, you have an unfair advantage over others. "
" If you want to achieve mastery, focus more on *OUTPUT* than input."
    Hope, it helps. ☺️

    Key takeaways:
    1. Keep distractions away while inputting information to the brain.

    1. Never multitask when receiving input, always put in your full attention.
    2. Reflect on what you have learned, and think about how it can be used in your life.
    3. Share what you’ve learned with others. Teach it to them, or just explain what you’ve learned.

    Takeaways from this video:
    1. Learning means nothing if you don't implement it
    2. Deep learning = learning something and using the knowledge in some way to better your self.
    3. Shallow learning = only being focused on the Input of knowledge. It is simply intellectual entertainment.
    4. Deep learning is > shallow learning
    5. How to implement knowledge? Spend twice the time (2x) executing & sharing your knowledge as you would take to learn something
    6. Always do a Takeaway :)

    Lifelong learning is key here
1)be more of an output person rather than just input(books, planning, podcasts, motivation al videos). Actually execute it.
2)Do not multitask. Do a singoe task at a time and give it your full attention. Multitasking ruins your momentum.
3)Reflect. What's the point of just passively learning if you don't know what are the takeaway points from these? How can I improve?
4)Implement. When you learn something schedule sometime to actually execute it. This solidifies what you learned.
5)Share. The best way to understand something is by teaching it to others.

    Key Points
    1. (Shallow Vs Deep) Learning
    - Shallow - Only Input.
-Deep - Focus on Output more than input.
    - Single tasking important (than multitasking) : Quality matters.
    2. Reflect.
    - Pause, what's the Takeaway? How can I use this information?
    3. Implement
    - Avoid "illusion of competence"
    - Take Action: "A lousy action is better than No action".
    4. Share it.
    - " The best way to learn something is to teach it".
Pro tip : If input time :X, then Output time should be minimum : 2X.

This is wildly interesting relating distractions to reason why learning is so difficult. I'm a carpenter, and occasionally I'll try to learn something in my ear buds while working, but often times, I become very confused and even disgruntled with what I'm trying to learn, and have to pause it because I simply cannot grasp anything. The more occupied my mind becomes, the less I can recieve. And ofcourse I was aware of this already, but it validates a line of reasoning I have. When I go to write things down, I always learn it much more efficiently, because I don't have the distractions on my phone, when using a pen and paper. Implementation is something I do well, but I can't implement something that I haven't absorbed because I have too many distractions. A couple of things I've heard of that can improve this is by being truly committed to the learning process, find a way to learn that you enjoy, and isolate yourself from things that call your attention, even subconsciously. For example, don't be near your bed, or a couch you relax on, a TV you use often, the kitchen where food is, your phone ofcourse, and even something like a view to your gardening. All of these things subconsciously call your attention away from what you're doing (learning) and get your mind to begin considering those tasks instead. Learning is hard work, and as nature goes, it will always take the path of least resistance. It's easier to go get food than it is to study. This makes sense why often times an office space exists, even outside of the home. But if you don't have an office, or can't afford one, go to the library or a local community center. These places are great for learning, because there are significantly fewer convenient distractions. You got this!

I learning a lot from RUclips every day, and I was able to speak English because of it. First time I'm using a translator on subtitle, and then I became more familiar with English words and so on. Now I can watch any Hollywood or Netflix movies without a subtitles, I only turn on English subtitle sometimes to improve my grammar. I also gain lot of knowledge just by understanding English language, because it's the most spoken language I guess.

    What I've learned from this:
Input: information that you have read or learn
    Output: product of your input
Reflect : after learning, pause and take a moment to recall what you have learnt.
Implement : how you use the input to everydays life
Share: share what you have learnt to others since it challenge your brain to recall what you have learnt and teach it in a way they can understand easily.
Stop multitasking, focus on a single task.
    Avoid distractions while studying
Shallow learning = more input, less or none output
Deep Learning = more input, greater output (reflect, implement, share)
    Memorize numbers...

So I saw other people commenting, and I realized I wouldn't be implementing what i saw in this video without commenting as well.
First of all, the key to remembering what you learn is to be focused, no multitasking, no distractions. When you finish focusing on something through input, reflect on it, and think about what you just learned. Then, implement what you learned somehow in your life. For me it is that I thought about this video afterwards and thought about what I learned. I am now going to use this method for remembering things better, knowledge without action is dead and not actual knowledge. Next is to teach, and I am doing that right now but summarizing the key points of this video

I once wanted to know something I valued very much and I memorized an estimated 50,000 words of ritual.
It took me several years and I worked on it three times a day for 20 minutes at a time.
Everyone remarked at what a memory I had.
I couldn't understand as it was something I wanted so I worked for it. It takes motivation to accomplish anything worth while in life. No one can tell you what life is because you must live life to know what it is to be alive!

What I learned from this is to teach what you are preached. Sharing what you learned helps you and others also implementing things you learned is more beneficial than just learning it because then it becomes a form of entertainment and is shallow learning which is bad.

i use to have a good memory after i graduated from college and few month after getting my first job, i never thought that it would stressed me out to the points that i am unable to remember what i did a few moments before. now watching this to retrieve those cells from working again.

Such a simple thing. Input increases both your capacity and ability to learn; and to master the the skill, you practice. Thank you

Doesn't matter how bad you start a speech, but how well you end it. look how we soon foeget the errors at the start( obviosly he intentionally made them) but how impressed we all are when he ended with a task 5 times more difficult and didn't make a mistake. I love the psychologcal aspect of his presentation. he knows how humans are wired

The brain remembers pictures better....it's called visualisation association...that's the reason why we always say......."I've seen you somewhere.... what's your name?"......do you ever hear "I know your name what's your face?"
