Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

True, My Husband and I are retiring this year with over $6,000,000 in tax deferred investments. Up until 3 years ago, we were 100% in the S&P. During bear markets we had a perfect plan. We got an investment manager in our corner and didn’t look at our portfolio for nearly a year. Just kept buying at low prices. Fear can be a really big hindering factor

It's hard for the average Joe to do this, because it involves following a lot of industry news, following up with earnings, etc. It's easier to invest through an advisor who knows how stuff works, and make rocket returns.With the right guidance, really, the market always wins.

We all work to achieve goals in the long term. It doesn't make sense to me.

First SVB, then Signature bank and now First republic, these are all the signs of yet another 2008 market crash and recession 2.0, so my question is do I still save in the United States dollar, or could this be a good time to buy stocks? Everyone needs a different stream of income , unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security due to the high rate of tax , one needs to move ahead their expectation, I would recommend refraining from investing in Forex/stocks for now. I don't know who needs to hear this but i couldn't afford rent 2 years ago, now i can. Couldn't buy a Tesla a year ago now i have both a tesla car and lots of tesla stock, my point is building wealth is in your mindset, work on that and your financial potentials becomes exponential, develop habits like avoiding debt, cutting costs and most importantly, regularly putting money away in intervals for investments .My advice is to start with the stock market, it has plenty of opportunities to earn..Trust me I was able to grow to 7 figures just on a diverse portfolio strategy spread across bluechips, top etfs and coins and i didn't even have to lift a finger because my broker James Fletcher Brennan did all the hard work, he handles all my investments and ensures I stay above the market
