I actually do this once a month for my house. I cant afford a caret cleaner. And trust me, its really NOT alot of work at all. If you consistently keep your carpets clean and no shoes in the household, this is the least tedious task. Sure it would be nice to have a cleaner but i dont. Maybe i’ll put in on my christmas list😂 atleast once a week i stain clean the carpet and at the start of the month i clean each room doing this method. My back doesn’t hurt. My carpets are bright, and my heart is happen. I paid one time for a carpet cleaner to come clean to see if it was a difference and i was upset to see i paid $$$ for the same exact result. Never again. The water wasnt even grey like ive seen in other videos of the machine. Guy even told me himself my carpets were well cared for. Save me $$$ monthly.

I think NOT! This is a terrible procedure unless someone wants to end up in the hospital over-working. I agree that company cleaners are too expensive. The best way to clean a carpet is to get even a cheap carpet cleaner that can be used for years. Mix New Dawn detergent with water in the container. It smells FANTASTIC! and easily clean the carpet like vacuuming. The water solution will need changing now and then, but it's an easier and safer way to clean the carpet. Don't use the manufacturer's cleaning solution or buy specific carpet shampoos. If that is poured down the drain, it will clog the drain. The New Dawn dishwashing detergent won't. Case Closed!
