On the noisy campers story..... My honey and I went to Bristol for the drag races one year. On Friday night, the people in the campsite next to us rolled in about one in the morning and proceeded to party loudly until around 3 am when I yelled at them. They said it`s Bristol what do you expect? About 7 am we rolled out of the tent and cranked up the music and made as much noise as we could. On Saturday night, the noise seemed to get a lot lower around 11 pm. LOL Us-"It`s Bristol baby!!"

Tax guy - they never had a replacement to begin with. They just thought that would work.

Tax story: Wow, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! Having the location temporarily shut down for a weekend is one thing, but to have it shut down for two months because you tried screwing over the only person willing/able to work there while still paying rent for it is another. Especially with creating some bad blood with your location host, in this case, Walmart. You KNOW they got complaints over the "tax office" being closed.
Camping/hiking trip story: Agreed! You need to be considerate of others when in a campground area. I'd have stopped by the ranger's office to make some complaints about that group.
Fence story: You did good getting a lawyer involved. That could have ended differently.

As to the first story call it arogance and stupidity. As to the second story those rude individuals got what they deserved. As to the last story adverse posesion should be stopped. The neighbors should have to pay for ops lawyer.

I would’ve started my day before sun up and stayed loud for hours. As a stupid teen back in my idiot youth…if we were out camping we may have been louder than we should’ve but we were always respectful of others and we figured out…ready for this…if we let ppl sleep they’d return the favor. Want to sleep in kids, then let your neighbors sleep too. You can have epic parties and fun times more often if you respected others too.

Havasupai is a beautiful place. It is a medium-distance hike down into the canyon on switchbacks, then along a tiny tributary of the Colorado to the "town" of Supai.

Both my stepfather and my mother at one time worked for H & R Block each tax season. Than my stepfather just did them privately for his bookkeeping clients. Mother kept working for H & R Block for many years afterwards though. Of course, even a good company can have )#&$^ managers.

What kind of park/camping area was this? I'm in the US. Every state/national park I've camped at has limits on the number of campsites and people per site. Wasn't there a check in? Or at least a box at the trail head you put that information and where you'll be in? When you start, when you plan to be back. Otherwise, no one knows to look for missing hikers or at least not where to start looking.

Camping Story brings back so many memories. When I lived out West (Rocky Mountain Region), we would purposely find the most out of the way spot to camp on BLM land. There were no official campsites, just lots of open area. But so many times, I had some bozo decide to try to pitch camp within 30 feet of us when there was plenty of other spots to setup camp a long way away. Thankfully, my Cattledog and my Rotti always seemed to help them change their minds...😂

Most definitely would’ve countersued them for court costs. I love living in Tennessee (except it’s ancient weed laws). It’s a great place for home owners rights.
