Looks cool, but any other druid mains out there feel a little deflated? Spiritborn to my druid seems to be what crusader is to paladin. I know they have a different style but they move and strike in tandem with elemental animal spirits…
I think this actually hurts the rogues the most, Because they fill as similar niche in playstyle But they have way better spell flash/fireworks. Druids can still be pure caster, they have strong spell flash and even their melee builds are more barbarian like than rogue. The Spirit born in the druid are both nature-based in their aesthetics, But I think they're different enough that the druid will be okay. Kind of like how the crusader and the monk both had holy religious themes but we're different enough in playstyle and fireworks that they didn't really affect each other's player populations. The rogue on the other hand arguably has the worst fireworks in the game. Even their brightest fireworks in a frost build, ends up just being significantly weaker in both visuals and power to a sorcerer who is also specing into frost. I think this is going to take away from the rogue player population base rather than the druid. Sure is a spirit born you can summon a gorilla spirit, You can be a raging wear bear taring up all the Earth around you. ( Sorry for any spelling issues, being lazy and using speech to text lol)
The existence of Spiritborn pisses me off, especially when it would have made significantly more sense to introduce the Paladin especially when the expansion appears to be about Mephisto and potentially the Zakarum. Like, the class is probably gonna be dope, but Blizzard's arrogance is really, really grating.

Not the first time we've seen rebrand classes. Wizards, Demon Hunters, Crusaders in D3 were Asian Sorcerers, Emo Rogues, and Angry Paladins. Witch Doctor was a Bayou Necromancer. And now we have a Jungle Monk.
100% paladin will never be a thing. Since D4 its not about Teamwork like Paladin was good at. We got barely support skills in D4. Maybe Crusader but i would be suprised if Paladin would be a thing.

This is just a class reveal, not the whole expansion. PoE is a different game, they give you a bunch of mechanics that you dont actually use and just for the sake of “big update”
Probably in 10 years after they add MountainMan along side Barbarian. Demon Hunter again along side Rogue. Witch Doctor again next to Necro. AnimalMan next to Druid and SpiritBorn. Wizard next to Sorceror. Well done guys just add the same class twice.

I feel like the harder they try in these marketing videos, it's just gives me less hope for the end product. Trying really hard to hype this up, but it's lost all effect on me personally. Buyer beware on this one. As much as I would like D4 to be great... I can't seem to stay interested for more then a week or 2. It's just so odd I can go back to D3 and get more enjoyment out of it. I was super excited for D4 initially but do not trust Blizzard on this one.

@@NKB_POE Fromsoftware has released the same game for a decade and so far only Bloodborne and Sekiro have been finished products. Elden Ring is mostly unfinished and relies on copy pasting content 20 times and it didn't evolve the combat at all and its still just jank with weapon arts. Larian had BG3 in beta for years on end and even that game is finished in the first 30% of the game and act 2 and 3 were massively underdeveloped and outright buggy.
Wonderful Druid/Monk hybrid class. I would definitely play it at launch. The Ultimates though is kinda simple for me, I hope they add more effects to it.

I think it’s pretty cool class.
And yes I also agree that Paladin should me next.
Just give the people what they want.
Anyways, I think they did a great job and are on a correct path.

That‘s why diablo 4 will be the last one I bought and my last COD game was MW 2019. It’s over guys, the people who are in charge now simply don’t have the same spirit as the guys who once were in charge…
