That HOA Karen's daughter got off easy. I worked as a pool lifeguard the summer of my senior year in high school and the next 3 summers after starting college. I'm 65 now, and I *still* have patches of dead-ish skin on the soles of my feet from all the times we had to clean off the pool decks by scrubbing with what's basically powdered chlorine. (One time, the entire crew of 8 lifeguards had to stop working because our manager had underestimated how much of the stuff he'd put down on the deck for us to scrub, and two of the girls' rattan flip-flops *dissolved* while a 3rd had to be helped to her car because she had developed painful sores on her feet. We had a new manager the next season.)
OP was nicer than I'd have been... The first time I noticed Karen's Daughter in my Pool, I'd have sent the letter via. Signature Required Registered mail (so there is no denying she got it) to Karen telling her that neither she nor her Daughter & Friends are allowed into my Property or Pool and the next time it happens there WILL be Consequences... If/when Karen and/or her Daughter ignore my Letter and Trespassed in my Pool, I'd have called the Police to report Intruder in my back yard and I'm Pressing Charges of Break & Enter (the gate would have a lock and spikes on top to deter climbing over it), Criminal Trespassing and Vandalism as now I have to clean my pool since I have no clue if they showered before swimming or peed in the pool...THEN Id call my Lawyer to Sue Karen and her Daughter for Trespassing and Harassment as well as the cost to clean and sterilize my pool and File for a Restraining Order (No Contact, Stay Off My Property & STOP SWIMMING IN MY POOL!!!)... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣

So double the wage after 8 years, at $28 an hour.
