The filling station story struck a chord, as I work at one here in UK. Happily, I have NEVER had to deal with a Helga, but there is a bunch of corporate high-ups, who have probably never done a delivery in their careers, that like to dictate how we must do things. Every morning at 7am (gotta think of neighbours) an articulated lorry appears with a 45ft trailer. It must reverse towards a bay far enough from the last pump island NOT to impede customers, and sufficiently distant from the carwash not to infringe on that, either. Furthermore, it must stop 25ft from the compounds to allow a safety perimeter of 19ft from the tail lift. It's all doable, EXCEPT we must in no way, shape or form act as any kind of banksman to guide the driver (in the dark, during winter) to where he needs to stop! Not even to tell him when he's hit the target; else it's a disciplinary matter. The driver is over 50ft away...!
We have found a passive way of doing it; two hi-viz barriers with the required gap between them, so driver can line up in his mirrors, then a word of advice to stop when the cab window is in line with the litter bin on the pump island. Crude, but it works, and the driver has done it all by himself...!
Then we are allowed all of 20mins to get the chilled stuff out of the lorry and into the chiller room, else more grief from on high...
Delivery Story: If I were OP, when Helga told me to put the Delivery Away to the exclusion of ALL other Duties, I'd have asked her to put that in Writing...
Then, when the Massive Delivery came in and it took me the entire shift to put it away, when she came out of the back red faced and ready to rip me a New Waste Disposal Orifice, I'd have just whipped out a copy of her instructions and handed it to her, then walked to the Time Clock, punched out and gone home...
If she tried Writing me up for it, I'd take a second copy of her instructions to the HER Manager and explain what had happened after showing them Helga's instructions to me then asked them to check the Security Cameras to see me deal with a HUGE Delivery ALONE!!!
Somehow, I suspect it wouldn't be ME that gets the Write Up...

My mom had a rental beach house. I feel OP's pain. Friends and family are the worst, sometimes.
Managers like Helga show they've never accepted delivers because of how upset she got when finding out food hadn't been prepared.
Instead of having two people put away freight, have the second person come in and prepare the food. Or, have the second person concentrate solely on the delivery and the night person their normal job. Including preparing the food.
More times than not, when management sticks their fingers in a well running machine, it immediately throws a rod, and things go to hell in a hand basket.
Lot it when people get all worked up and sue before having all the facts. That HOA acted like other HOAs and jumped the gun before checking the reality of the situation. And by the way. HOA money should not be used for festivities once a year. If people want to have one, they should organize it themselves.
The VBRO story. It is a tax thing. If the place is not in the US, the rules are probably different but similar. In the US, you can rent out your home or other dwelling for less than 14 days and not pay taxes on the rental income. (People with really nice homes have rented to celebrities for a week or so and made lots of tax free money.) On the other side, if you use it personally for more than 14 days, you mess with the deductibility of your expenses. Time spent with it off market to fix it up to rent does not count toward the 14 days.

I worked as a bouncer for many years when I was a young rookie law enforcement officer, I loved it. I'm only about 5'9 but I was very stocky and quite strong but the movie Roadhouse had just came out so I got a lot of the line " I thought you'd be bigger " I hated that but I enjoyed all the girls, that's how I met my wife.
Put away delivery story: Sometimes you have to give managers practical demonstrations of why they are wrong.
Bouncer story: I'd keep that lanyard and tag if you get bothered by Karens at Walmart or Target.
Swimming pool vs HOA story: Too bad you didn't get the HOA completely disbanded.
Story one: managers waiting until you clock out to berate you is a normal occurrence because some businesses don’t tolerate it but the loophole is they wait because HR will ask did they scream at you while working and when you say no they’ll say there’s nothing they can do, this is why you should say “ yes “
In the first story: I love it, when, managers-who-think-they're-right, think that you can split yourself into two, and do the work of two people.......NOT!!!

HOA's don't exist in my area of the Southern US, if you try and tell us what to do with our own property you will be introduced to our Shotguns and Rifles.

What area of the US do you live in? Florida has the most HOA's in the US along with Georgia. Both with 10k or more
i dont think you can speak for the entire "southern US" i think we've had a few stories from places down there
At my job I do 100% of a 2 person job, it's easy work so I'm not complaining

I'm sorry but I'm actually about to stop watching your videos. Your titles, thumbnails, and actual stories have been disagreeing more and more as time goes on. Your title says one thing, your thumbnail says something vaguely similar...and then the story in the video has only two things in common with the thumbnail and only _one_ in common with the title. I've been enjoying your videos for a while; PLEASE don't just make stuff up for views. As it stands you're basically lying to us about what to expect from the video.
