Marvellous persiflage of a ML fan, awoke for five minutes, after the first cup of coffee. Great.

Hi Khash, great review... i would also set "Bat out of hell II" on number one. I can recommend the two albums "Bad For Good" from 1981 by Jim Steinman and "Pandoras Box" from 1989 also all songs by Steinman under that project name Pandoras Box. Almost all songs from both albums had been re-recorded by Loaf... half of the "Bat II" Songs from those albums. Interesting to hear that versions. Greetings from germany... bye and take care.

The 2 somewhat obscure albums you mentioned are amazing! Mostly forgotten here in America, but absolutely essential if you're into Steinman's writing!

I always liked Jim Steinman's version of "Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through" more than Meatloaf's. Meatloaf had some crappy artwork when he wasn't working with Jim Steinman (r.i.p.)

When ranking Meat Loaf, you have to realize that a large portion of the songs you hear on an album were written years before, sometimes decades before!!! There may be only one or two songs on 'Braver' that were new... if any at all?!!? I could go into this at length... but I have my own videos to make ;)
