Thinking on one of the legends we lost this year it was great playing Meat Loaf's epic album "Bat Out of Hell II" from 1993. At just over 75 minutes long it sure gave the fans their money's worth. For me, equally as good as the 1977 classic "Bat Out of Hell." Besides the hit "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" being great; the song, for me, that truly sticks out the most is "Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are." It is just an outstanding track.
I only have three of Meat Loaf's albums so my order is only in reference with those three in mind (sorry guys but that's how it is).
    1) Bat Out of Hell (1977)
    2) Bat Out of Hell II (1993)
    3) Deadringer (1981) I believe this particular album would probably drop much further down if I knew all of Meat Loaf's albums.
For me, the first two can be swapped around really depending on the day and the mood. The first is the sentimental favourite though as I bought it when it was brand new. But I must say the number two is just such a masterpiece.

Thank you very much for your nice and detailed comment. You should probably think about checking out some more of his music. Not all great but always unique with his carismatic voice.
Thanks again and have a gret day : )

@@AsIfHeKnew I will check other ones out as you suggested. I just get teary thinking about him gone and also sometimes when I hear him. I remember hearing him the first time in the movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the cinema back in 1975 and then buying the "Bat Out of Hell" LP in 1977-78. So he brought a lot of joy over many years. Love the guy! RIP

Meat Loaf shows also were very unique, great memories. Have a great week : )

Ahh, no way I would "Could haven't said it better" would be #2. It's a good album, but not in Top 5 and neither is Bad Attitude and Welcome to to the neighborhood (would have put them 6&7). Bad Attitude has some great song, but too much reverb and the production value is nowhere as close as great and full as it was the two previous Steinman records. Meat sounds great, but the production sounds thin. and looks like there is such much potential wasted. Actually looking into doing an amazing Meat Loaf cover from this are - fun fact - we actually came up with this band name from Meat Loaf. Even if we are more into classic metal, it's a damn great name ;) Would have put Bat out of hell 3, Dead Ringer and Hangcool Teddy Beer on this list.

Hi Renegade Angel and thank you very much for your great comment. I like your ranking and it is cool that we all have different taste and opinion and still love the same thing : )
In my case the ranking is not only about Meat singing but also about the musicians on the Albums. I am a big fan of Kenny Aronoff and I think he added a lot of his attitude to the albums he played drums on, such as John Miceli did live and on some songs too. Classic Metal is my main thing too, so please check my other videos if you like. I will take look on your channel too, love the idea of a Meat Loaf cover : )
