Definitely not worth £75 for what you got. For that price I would want everything on all formats. Dunno who has released this but it isn't even listed on discogs. The Bad News (Bad News, geddit?) for you, and you ,and you, is that there's a re-issue of Bootleg on vinyl but not on CD!

I always liked Jim Steinman's version of "Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through" more than Meatloaf's. Meatloaf had some crappy artwork when he wasn't working with Jim Steinman (r.i.p.)

The tour programme is an exact replica, I have the original from the Newcastle gig signed by the band. They appear to have scanned the original with low resolution sadly. Yeah disappointing collection for £75. Interesting that Rick favours a Rick guitar (Rickenbacker). Probably wanted to see his name on the headstock 😁

Rocka Rolla kicks ass for the era it was made. I will take Rocka Rolla over Ram it down, Turbo or Point of entry.

Got into the band at the end of 1985, when i was fourteen. Bought my first BJ album, 7800 Degrees Fahrenheit, on February 6, 1986. So I go back pre-Slippery with this band, but jumped off the train for good a decade ago... Richie leaving was the nail in the coffin for me. And Jon's ever more deteriorating voice. I still love listening to the core discography, but won't touch much of the more recent stuff... All the albums starting with Bounce up until The Circle belong in the same "discard" basket for me, bar a few songs here and there. Hence, I'll only rank the albums up to Crush, which is the last album I can listen to from start to finish and where I still like over half of the material. The rest of the albums have very few or no fillers, apart from Keep The Faith, which is an unusually front-heavy record, with many "fillers" towards the end. But it also has some of the most amazing songs the band ever recorded! 7. Crush ( highlights: Just Older, It's My Life, Two Story Town ) 6. 'Fahrenheit' ( highlights: Only Lonely, The Hardest Part Is The Night, The Price Of Love, Silent Night ) 5. Bon Jovi ( highlights: Runaway, Burning For Love, Shot Through The Heart, Roulette ) 4. As a massive Bon Jovi fan who considered Bon Jovi his favorite band for 30+ years, I always considered them massively underrated that being said, i am able to objectively rate their music. Here's my attempt (subject to change): 1. New Jersey - BJ at their peak! Catchy and classic! 2. Keep The Faith - Grown up BJ. Diverse album with so many classics, great playing and classic accessible lyrics. 3. Slippery When Wet - What started it all for me. One classic after another. Just playing too much for too long to be 1 or 2. 4. Have A Nice Day - Mature, hard rock. Last Man Standing probably the best song no one cares about 5. These Days - turning the page again. More mature than KTF. Hidden classics with a sprinkle of garbage. 6. Lost Highway - Sambora at his best. Doing some amazing work here. Gems all over. 7. Crush - great rock album. Next 100 Years, Just Older, two of the best BJ songs. a good amount of filler. However, a complete turn in direction with the songwriters being more than JBJ/RS/DC. Lyrics for a little less accessible with this one. 8. This House Is Not For Sale - Great album with the return of the "formula" anthem. Loved it, but won't age well. 9. Bounce - More filler than not. First album you noticing them trying too hard. Wanting to be more relevant, more Springsteen. Should have stayed more true. 10. Bon Jovi - It has charm. Raw, but dated. Not bad, just "dated" 11. The Circle - Trying too hard. Not sure if the "country" label hurt JBJ personally. This being the "Return To Rock" was a massive miss to me. 12. What About Now - The Nickleback, mom-rock album. Average at best 13. 7800F - Just not for me. Dated. Some highlights, but there's a reason this album gets zero representation in concerts for at least 30 years. 14. Burning Bridges - It's a demo album. Nothing here I take too Serious. We Don't Run, one of my favorite BJ songs ever is here, but showed up on THINFS so unnecessary to own. 15. 2020 - I just stopped caring. Uninteresting. Trying too hard again. Yes, I will continue to buy every album, support every tour, but they are long past their prime. Not mentioned, 100,000,000 BJ fans, a great box set. May songs could have been redone into a real return to glory rather than "The Circle" miss. This Left Feels Right, Worth it for the "You Give Love A Bad Name" remake.

Bad news also supported iron maiden on the U.K. leg of the somewhere in time tour the bootleg album was a series of arguments with a couple of new songs bad dreams,aids hmfarmer and bits of the album were added to the cd reissues of the first album
