I agree with you. Meat Loaf's voice is nowhere near it used to be, but you have to respect the guy for getting out there, especially with all the health problems he has.

Distracted by how u pronounce Jim Steinman and a few track names but a pretty good review and I would agree with u mostly. Surprised at braver than we are being so high up in your list? I find it dreadful but each to their own. Think the reason Jim isn’t featured on any of those tracks was cos he was very ill following multiple strokes. Think meat has said he could hardly speak? Dunno how u can’t like ‘sailor to a siren’?? It’s a great track!!
Good to hear U were at the 10th anniversary tour. I saw the gig in Sheffield on that tour. It was 1988 and it was one of best rock shows Iv ever seen.

I like every Meat Loaf album expect Hang cool teddy bear I think. I think He should have stopped after Bat lll or Couldnt have said it better

Couldn't have said it better was the last truly solid meat loaf record. Hang cool teddy bear, hell in a hand basket, and the final Jim Steinman record were all major misses. Couldn't have said it better was also the last album were his voice was still able to hit varying ranges but he does hit them on occasion unlike his final three releases.

I heard Patti Russo say in an interview on “Kitchen Sink” that there was one whole album that was done that she doesn’t think will ever be released but she said that the album was phenomenal. I’d like to hear that, maybe there will be a bootleg. But ultimately, I just loved him and I only saw him once, but it was up there with the first time I saw Bruce Springsteen.

actually objects was one of his least favorite as it hurt too much for him to sing emotionally - martha was one of his favorites actually - but for crying out loud i think was his absolute favorite - the best live version of paradise is the one done in london in 1998 for an empty studio - him and patti - the best ending you could think of! - the best ive ever seen him - and his voice was doing well was the 1998 vh-1 story tellers - but braver than we are - apart from more - and one or maybe a couple of others is a true fans least favorite (for the young was another good one) because his voice - his two last tv performances were last september and december and his voice was fantastic - his physical condition was very frail however

Burning Down was a track written by Billy Rankin who joined Nazareth a couple of brief times. They resurrected that song for the Move Me album and l have to say Nazareth do it better. Speaking of Nazareth... there's a future ranking list for you to consider if you've heard of them.
