I just saw his interview from when him and Winnona had just broke up. He was asked about the tattoo and said the same thing. That a tattoo was part of how he journal's his life, and that someday he could change it to Wino forever. He's consistent and telling the truth

I for one am so glad this type of behaviour and abuse of men is being exposed world wide. The sad thing is unless you have been abused by a covert narc you will not really comprehend this type of behaviour and find it hard to believe.
What sickens me is that, so far, all of the allegations against Johnny that he struck Amber are unfounded, and yet, in that moment, when they are asking him about it, you can FEEL the tension in the room -- as a man, he's put under the most intense of scrutiny even with only allegations that he physically abused Amber. ON THE OTHER HAND, there are actual video recordings, and evidence, that Amber Heard struck Johnny and punched him -- and yet, those seem to just be brushed under the table. The way our culture looks upon male victims of abuse is SHAMEFUL. There's this stupid assumption that, "Oh, he's a big strong man, he should be able to defend himself or just walk away if she strikes him."
I 100% agree. If the roles were reversed, the man would already be convicted. I don't know why this has gone on for this long when clearly she was the abuser.

She will never find another like him. I just ask that we focus on meditating & visualizing the end result that JOHNNY DEPP WON THE DEFAMATION CASE!! With enough visualization, we send that prayer to God and through frequencies, it helps Johnny as well.

When they say his story never changes, they are absolutely correct. He was asked about that many years ago after they broke up and the interviewer asked will he have it removed and he said no, his tattoos are journals of his life experiences, the same words.

However, she was absolutely taking drugs, abusing narcotics and prescription drugs, and we know that she DID hit and assault him.
I don't live or respect him. Idolatry is a sin so speak for yourself. If you don't know either of them personally, you have no idea. I can't tell you how many times I met a celebrity and they were nothing like I thought they'd be. He's also wayyyyy older than she is and so I find his behavior a lot more highly suspect than hers, and I've had two careers in my life and both involved monitoring behavior s and being able to read people. I think he's truly getting off on turning the world on her.
"Always tried to keep her mood up" is what EVERY abuse victim does. You want to cut the monster off at the knees by placating constantly. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
It's very hard to deal with an abuser, be it physical, verbal or both. You never know when it will start, what will set them off. You do your best to keep them happy so it doesn't happen, but it always does. I used to clean the carpet around my abuser while he sat asleep in the chair with my fingers instead of the vacuum so he wouldn't wake up and find that the carpet was dirty.

Winona Ryder, many of you will know, has adamantly stated that Johnny Depp is not an abuser, that she never witnessed or experienced anything but sweetness from him. I am all about supporting women who are victims of domestic violence, but this seems like a mountain of nothing against Depp. Maybe things will be different for Heard when she gets on the stand. Right now, it's looking pretty bad for her.

It’s very hard to defend yourself against lies when there was no one else present when it occurred. I’ve experienced this myself. It’s beyond frustrating. You KNOW with 100% certainty you’re telling the truth, but the other person keeps on lying. It’s infuriating.
I grew up with a mother who did that. Took me years to stop being overly defensive about everything. I was always thinking that everyone thinks I am lying. The phycological abuse is real.

Only one problem: he isn't that type of guy. I was listening his testimony when he was in the shower and she came charging in and hit him and his opening thought was "WTF just happened." As far as I know Vanessa was the one pursued him and got pregnant and he settled for the life she offered which was convenient and peaceful for him at that time. Maybe because of that he fell for Amber because she brought excitement and passion back, however not to a level of soul connection like he had with Winona..

Did anyone catch the slight smile that Amber gave when Johnny was saying that he used to do what he could to basically make her happy by "singing stupid songs" in her ear ( 7:11 )! Amber smiled as to say thats true. He did used to do that! And her body language after he said that just validates everything Johnny is saying in my opinion. In private she threw thick ceramic plates at his head, one time breaking his nose, kicked him in the shins with her stilletos, shoved needles into his palms when he was asleep and other really physically abusive acts and the names she called him aren't repeatable. I think it's more common than ppl realize.

It's absolutely not because he would feel bad for bad mouthing her publically, it's just better for him if he doesn't and focuses on defending himself, as it would be consistent with his testimony of always disengaging from fights (he was not the attacker in fights same as he isn't the attacker in court, he never wanted to fight, he doesn't want to fight now, he's just defending himself). Besides that, it just makes him more likeable and is more encouraging of empathy, and is also professional in the court setting, the judge would object to him calling her names anyway, he would not be able to do much to her by "bad mouthing" her in court, what I'm getting at is that not attacking her in any way verbally in court is a much better strategy than any other, it's like "I'm talking about my experience here, and the image of Amber that you get is just a byproduct, which means it's true since I'm not focusing on making her look bad, she just looks bad on her own, and I'm calm as I said I was, I'm innocent." That and the jokes make him ten times more likeable than AH and her team, which we'd like to think, doesn't matter in court, because people are objective in court, but really people are never totally objective, if he makes the court empathize with him and makes them laugh, that's a pretty big win. Ofc, don't think I'm saying he's lying about being a victim, being aware of what impression you're making and using it doesn't make anyone a liar, it could be used even if you have the truth on your side to give yourself a better chance of winning, I mean, you always want to present yourself as best as you can.
The fact that he spoke on the "Wino 4ever" tattoo just kills me! I love that he told that story and has such a good outlook on things.. he is so soft spoken I couldn't ever imagine him being mad and violent. However, he was still inlove Kate and I believe that if it wasn't for Lily Rose and later Jack, he wouldn't have stayed with Vanessa as long as he did, fourteen years. Kate was devastated when she found out about the pregnancy because she knew that she had lost Johnny for good now. I think Vanessa was crazy for Johnny but not the other way around. She shouldn't had got pregnant, she should have seen with Johnny WANTED to be with her for her, and nothing else. She never gave him that chance and I believe he kind of resented it. That's the real reason he never married her, he loved her but wasn't inlove with her. In the end, he did Vanessa a favour by leaving her. She is now happily married to a French Actor/Director and living a happy life in France. I believe Johnny hadn't felt a huge spark for another woman for many years, ever since Winona perhaps, which explains why he fell for Amber so hard during the shooting of The Rum Diary.

Any success he had she was angry and begrudging about it, any person who was an important part of his life up to and including his own children was threatening to her, and her position of complete dominance that she sought to maintain in their relationship. As awful as what he went through was, he still was able to get out and thank god for that. He spent 4 long long years 3/4ths of them with someone who was determined to make him miserable every day of his life, he could have ended up enduring it for a decade or more and then she would have been able to irreparably break him and to take off with half of everything that he had. Thats the only victory I can see in this whole debacle for him. Its no small feat to break out of the clutches of someone like her, but he found the strength to do it and it probably saved his life.
