That recording was one of the most telling pieces of evidence in the entire trial. Her bizarre antagonism, the way she attempts to rile him and taunt him into a reaction. But the one thing it reveals more than anything, is that she was never the victim. She wasn’t in any sort of fear; she was trying to cause distress and inflict it on Johnny.
An abused woman would NEVER taunt a man in this way, and at this point, he would've already hit her if he was the abuser. She's the agressor.

99.9999999% of the time the court will rule in the womans favor. maybe she knew that and was hoping that the court or judge would say "ehhhhh you get off light" i have seen a lot of reports and insights from attorneys who let others know why they walked away from the career. and its because they found in most of their cases dealing with abuse, the man was guilty until proven innocent. even if the woman was lying the court would rule in their favor to either outright give the man a harsh sentence or the case would be thrown out in the womans favor. put in simple terms, i think she still thought she could buffalo the court because she is a woman.

I am an abuse survivor and also work with domestic violence victims and mental health for my local government and she does NOT sound like an abuse victim. Addiction can make a person do a lot of crazy things but for everyone like that there are dozens of others who are completely functional while destroying themselves. Not all addiction pain stretched outwards, for most people addiction in itself says nothing about a persons moral character.

Bipolar is an older term for another illness, but not quite as unstable as bpd, bi polar was defined as more prolonged happiness and depression. it was her attempt to put over her own narrative by continuing to talk even when an objection was made and going off on a tangent when asked difficult questions that exposed the real AH. Everything that JD's psychologist diagnosed about her BPD she showed every symptom. In my opinion JD escaped with his life because that dagger was bought to kill him. she would have made up some BS about how he attacked her and she would have killed him in 'self defence'.
