Recording someone while they’re hitting a low is such a psycho move. Have an intervention, call a doctor, find a rehab. If you love him, help him - if you don’t want to do that, then leave.
As someone whos been recorded. Its horrible but it can help with the intervention and help from the doctors as most of the time they dont get to see it. And sometimes it helps you yourself realise how you can behave especially if ur the type to experience black outs and not rememeber. Theres no harm in it if your not recording to use it against them. And even in this court case its not really using it against either party. And i think where they are for it to even be eliagable for evidence both parties need to consent to the recording.

True story. My Dad was not only a fair, firm, and consistent boss but was also such good friends with his co-workers that worked for him, he got to visit one of them in Hawaii after retirement. He almost got stuck in the UK during a snow storm one year and his boss offered to let him spend Christmas with his family! (Thanks, VP, but I'm glad Dad made it home for Christmas...and so was the Dog.)
I think the key aspect or characteristic here, is that JD is seemingly GENUINE in his dealings with friends, employees etc

There are 4 types of BPD Discouraged, Petulant, Impulsive and Self-destructive/sabotaging...
I have Discouraged type (also called "quiet type" because it's inward towards ourselves). Not every BPD patient feels the need to break others down...but it seems to be a common problem in most.
And yes, Amber Heard gives BPD a worse light than it needs to be...I feel so sorry for Johnny dealing with that, since she doesn't seem like the type to go through DBT...

Well, several trips to the mental ward and years of hard-core DBT and one-on-one therapy teaches you a lot. BPD isn't medicatable...it's strictly therapy and using skills to cope throughout the day...which is hard work that many with BPD rather not deal with...so they go untreated and do the crap you see.

I think Dr Curry did a good job explaining those specific to Amber and people realise Amber's behaviour is her own, not representative of all BPD sufferers. :)

Poor lawyers, having to follow the lies their client told them, it all being revealed in court thanks to the blunt honesty of the witness and the clearly genuine facial reactions of their opponent.
Also, the phrase “make me feel sick OF MYSELF”, I can so relate to that. When you feel you are being pushed over an edge and being forced to behave like a completely different person than you actually are. It’s funny they choose to use that fragment as evidence, where for me it only reveals Depp is a clear victim here of the circumstances. Amber never ever felt or feels sick of herself and while she apparently thinks that’s a good thing, it’s not. If you never feel sick of yourself in a clearly toxic relationship, you’re probably the poison.

This trial has certainly informed me about Johnny Depp's character, and I had no idea he was like this as a person.
Here I was thinking he was a good actor, but it turns out he's also a kind, generous, loyal, thoughtful, creative, funny, intelligent man any of us would be lucky to have as a friend.
It seems almost everyone he's ever encountered in his life feels the same way, even his ex wife. The only one who stands out as being different in their view of him is Ms. Heard.

Johnny Depp with his other wives or girlfriends seems to jibe well perhaps because these women knew how to handle his quirks and rage episodes when drunk and high with cocaine. Unfortunately, with Amber Heard, battling with medical issues herself, cannot handle this side of him. She confronts him regarding his bad behaviour but it seemed it only added fuel to the fire. Amber Heard seemed to be the kind who will really stress-out the issue believing perhaps that it will get through his foggy brain, but, Johnny Depp with a painful childhood trauma cannot tolerate this kind of confrontation. His best self-defence when confronted was to get-away from it which frustrated Amber Heard because the issue will remain unresolved and swiped under the carpet as usual. This kind of cycle in their relationship goes back and forth hence the divorce. Amber Heard really feels battered with the constant battle with Johnny Depp. I agree that Johnny Depp is kind and generous to his staff and donates money to charity and is good to the public (PR and all) and is sincere but there is another side of him that is opposite to what the public knows especially when he is very high on drugs and very drank. Amber Heard is also airing her side of the story in court which is also believable.
Brilliant witness: accurate, specific and no-nonsense: and when he can't remember, he says so.
Amber's lawyer needed to do his homework instead of relying on innuendo.
My brother also going through all this, though we are not celebrity. This is very unjust and many don’t believe in male harassment. Shame on laws created to protect women but they misuse this. My brother went through such a bad phase and whole family. I can relate to what he is going through..
The more this trial continues. The more endearing JD and his witnesses become. He made good choices in the people he surrounded him with....bar AH

One good thing that really came out of this trial is knowing that Johnny has so many people that love him dearly. It really reflects what kind of person he is. He is a hero and reflects something i dont see in anyone else that is famous in this day and age. May he find happiness in his life and hope amber can fix herself so that in her life she can find some form of happiness. The way she is now is very toxic for her life.
What Amber Heard deserves is a jail sentence, not happiness

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat their subordinates. Amber abuses her staff, but Johnny's staff praise him and have stayed with him for decades. The mere fact that Johnny didn't slaughter that thing is proof enough of his gentle nature.

I would add, and this is just the child of an alcoholic observing from VERY far away, that Johnny should take a three to five year break from acting. Go to a long rehab, get straight, maybe shred some of the hangers-on he’s picked up over the years. I love watching the dude, and he seems cool as hell. But he needs to get clean. He is so much better clean and sober.

Say what you want about his drug and alcohol abuse, it seems like he's fought off those problems. Proud of him for that. Hearing him talking about his prior use of opioids, and not being interested in using again is amazing. As someone who's abused alcohol, I couldn't be happier for Johnny Depp.

@@LewisB3217 thank you. Drug and alcohol abusers get such a terrible reputation just because they're harming themselves internally. People don't understand that everyone has a backstory. Everyone has reasons, experiences, relationships, etc. Many of these are good, many are bad; and an accumulation or even just one experience can send someone spiraling down the path of abuse. It's more often than not not their fault; and they need help and compassion, not trash talking and accusations. Cruel behavior is exactly how we get them to worsen their condition.
