- Johnny Depp, testifying in his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, told the jury about numerous arguments he had with her during their relationship and marriage. Depp testified that during one fight with Amber Heard, she allegedly used nail polish to pose as blood on a napkin, claiming that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor had broken her nose when he claims he never touched her nose. Depp says when he retrieved the "bloody" napkin from the garbage, he found it was nail polish.

There’s nothing worse than being labeled a wife beater when you’re not. All his ex-girlfriends came forward and spoke very highly of him. When your exes do that, that speaks volumes.

Had one try 2 years back. Got a whole gaggle of exes that'll tell ya I'm an asshole. Only one will tell you I'm abusive, posted pics of all her bruises blaming me. Detail she left out: cops kicked her ass and got it on like 6 cruiser cams and 8 body cams. I tolerated a lot of abuse for "love" before I called the cops on her. She resisted, shoved one of them, and this dude not much taller than her just hauled off and peppered her face with sap gloves repeatedly. Then the people we were with that night, her friends, started yelling "taze her!" while jumping up and down in excitement. Wild night. Court is still in process 2 years later for this event.
I don’t doubt one single iota that AH would injure herself just to blame the other party 🤨

Also considering that Johnny was at one point struggling with self harm/ suicidal thoughts (I'm not if the timeline matches up, though), it's almost like a different message entirely.

Like "here's a knife u can either use it to defend yourself or u could use it on yourself" and if he used it to defend himself then he would look like the "bad guy" or if he used it on himself she probably gets some sort of sick pleasure from it. This is how you know he’s telling the truth. Amber talks about her alleged abuse like she’s reading a script, no hesitations, real matter of fact. Johnny pauses quite a lot when he’s telling his tale of what happened and the expression on his face tells you it’s because the memory of it is painful in some way. And there seems to be some embarrassment, something victims usually experience. She should be ashamed of herself, playing the victim and making a mockery of all real victims of domestic abuse. She’s going to end up being the most hated woman on the planet. She won’t be able to show her face anywhere. But it’s what she deserves for what she’s done

I've seen the look on her face far too many times to count from my mother. It was killing her not to shout, "you made me do it."
I used to question why people that claimed others made them do horrible things didn't leave the situation, until my psychiatrist schooled me on PTSD and GAD from being raised, and abused, by a mother with NPD. They will never leave when they are convinced that everyone else is the problem and if only we would listen to them, everything will be perfect. She heard all those horrible things she did but to her, "he made her act that way."

I don't know whether he has PTSD but that's exactly what I thought. Also at times, when he was recalling what happened, it actually looked as if he was having a flashback. I have PTSD myself and that's EXACTLY how it looks. Felt so familiar.

About 10 years ago, I was subjected to a relationship with a woman that was equally as abusive. Back then, if I told anyone, (because I'm a big man, and she was a small woman), they would laugh and pretty much brush off the abuse. I'm happy our society is learning that both parties can be shitty human beings.

I’m sorry about you’re experience. With this trial it is showing that men are very much victims too and that abusing men isn’t okay. Hopefully you and men like you won’t have to deal with this anymore. Women need to wake up, we teach men that abuse is not okay, yet women and girls are being taught that it is, movies with guys getting slapped or objects thrown at them. And men Are being taught just to take it, and it’s not a big deal. It shouldn’t be shrugged off, someone should have listened to you. I hope you found a better partner and in a better place in life.

Johnny talks about taking the abuse like someone who has a long history of being violated. His childhood trauma at the hands of his mother is no doubt why he tolerated Amber's violence. HIs description of trying to protect himself is very sad - not a healthy fight response to the threat, but more the flight and freeze response that indicates considerable trauma. Amber knew he had difficulty defending himself and leveraged it to the max. Such a sad example of how being a man, nor being a celebrity does not protect you from abuse.
Just looking at Amber's fake "pained" expression makes me sick. As if she can't quite believe he finally found the courage to expose her. What a nightmare it must have been for him to go through that & relive it all again in front of the whole world. My heart breaks for him 💔 Justice for Johnny!

I have a lot of emotional pain, and i never abused substances like coke and alcohol? His only excuse is that because of his celebrity status he was surrounded by people who might encourage his addictions.

I say that because johnny's case is too weak, and i wont go into detail as you should read it yourself, but in short, his saying that the article which never mentioned him though it seems to reference him has defamed him and caused him to lose job opportunities. Thats why Amber's lawyer was listing tabloid clickbait titles to say that his career was already going downhill and he never lost any job cuz of the article wrote by Amber. And this is also why they trying to convince the jury that he is abusive so that what Amber wrote in the article wont be counted as slander or defamation.

I held on for 4 years of abuse because you feel like you are not worthy of being alone, its complicated. It's literally a cycle of abuse that repeats over and over and you get addicted to it, just like a drug.

Johnny Depp has come across as so very humble and believable in this trial, while AH has conveyed the opposite impression. She has appeared smug, nasty vindictive and of course, not the least bit credible. Another difference I noticed between him and her is that he admits to his faults and imperfections, such as his battles with drugs and alcohol, even though they are obviously not fun things to talk about, while she doesn't seem willing to own up to a single personal failing or shortcoming and instead to seeks blame others for her problems. It seems as though there was abuse going on in this relationship, but that Amber was the perpetrator and Johnny her victim.
She should be locked up for the abuse, severing his finger and the defamation to his name and character as well as ruining his career. Shame on her. That is a defense mechanism. You see how he takes these long pauses when he speaks? he’s reliving every incident. Having to go back to that place is extremely painful, so he’s not laughing because it’s funny it’s uncomfortable.

Hmm a broken nose can be so serious and can leave lasting effects and disfigurement. How would you not seek medical attention when you couple that with other injuries? It's depends on the break of course. But if some man let you have it, along with other multiple injuries then no amount of makeup would suffice. Also being drug through glass, and the other horrific abuses she sites? You would need medication, infection would be highly likely etc.
